A code in your frontend is appearing only when you have a plugin uninstalled when it should be installed, so instead of the code, it will display the element from that plugin. Check in Newspaper -> Plugins (the Opt-in Builder plugin, the tagdiv Shop & Woocommerce, the tqgdiv Composer and Cloud Library).

The child theme is not overwritten by the update. An issue for that could be the compatibility of your child theme with the new version of our theme.

It depends on what you need to do exactly. You can simply add your articles with Gutenberg, or if you need a form for your users to add articles, then you should create a submission form. We recommend the Yoast SEO plugin.

You can achieve this only with CSS code.
If you use a cloud template, then you can edit the homepage with the TagDiv Composer and edit the header as well. Try to disable the inline CSS and check after. (Theme panel -> Block settings -> Inline CSS) This was the only fix for optimization.
