Hello,
I have checked this again. They are the exact same dimension.s Try this: open 2 new pages in your browser and set them side by side having the same width in the monitor. Windows helps you put 2 windows side by side if you drag the window to the border of the screen. This way you split the 2 windows in half the screen each. Then open the 2 sites to compare. This is the result: https://www.screencast.com/t/0ZWzAIft

I hope this helps.
Thanks.

Hello,

1) Please use this css code in your theme panel custom code section under custom css:

.td-main-page-wrap{
padding-top:10px;
}

2) Please provide a link to your site so we can see where this space comes from.

Thanks.

Hello,
It is done with css but it needs to be targeted on the specific menu item otherwise it will affect all of the menu at once. It is a custom implementation made for the demo presentation. You can do it by targeting a specific menu by it’s unique menu item id here is an example for my menu: https://www.screencast.com/t/S1m1YrpW

.menu-item-230 .sub-menu{
padding: 14px;
-moz-column-count: 2;
-webkit-column-count: 2;
column-count: 2;
}

The menu item number needs to be changed to your own unique menu item number.

Thanks.

Hello,

We have seen the menu option be removed by plugin before so i think it’s safe to say it is a plugin conflict.
Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

Hello,

You forgot to clear cache afterwards. It has now been cleared and the responsive version is activated on your mobile site.

Thank you!

Hello,

The only tested and recommended plugins to use with our theme are these ones:

WP Super Cache- caching plugin
Contact form 7- used to make contact forms
bbPress- forum plugin
BuddyPress- social network plugin
Font Awesome 4 Menus- icon pack, supported in the theme menus
Jetpack- plugin with lots of features *it may slow down your site
WooCommerce- eCommerce solution
WordPress (Yoast) SEO- SEO plugin
Wp User Avatar- Change users avatars
WPML – multilingual plugin

Anything beyond this list is not tested and I cannot say for sure if it will work or not.
If there are certain plugins that work with our theme and are not on this list, please note they are not covered by the theme support and if they provide errors, they will have to be replaced.
Thanks.

Hello,

There is a major confusion between wp_booster and speed booster.
Wp_booster is simple the name of a file inside the theme. Speed booster is a speed enhancing plugin that is provided in the theme package. It is presented here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/

Thank you!

Hello,

Sorry but the events plugin was never tested with our theme so I cannot say for sure why this happens. You can create a new events page using the page builder and assign the event post type in the block settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/

Thanks.

Hello,

Sorry but the featured category is predefined. You cannot change it;s name otherwise it will not be detected as a special category anymore and the theme elements will no longer recognize it as a featured category
It has to have a name: “Featured” and a slug named “featured”

Thanks.

Hello,

Yes you can add a sidebar to your posts. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/
Then you can add widgets to your new sidebar in the appearance-> widgets section of wordpress.

Unfortunately the sidebar does not have any control over the content shown based on the current post category. There is no such detect in our theme that cna allow you to place blocks filtered based on the post you are viewing currently. The only option that has this capability is this one: https://forum.tagdiv.com/related-articles/

Thank you!

Hello,
The common problem when this happens is altering the theme name If you renamed the theme or the child theme to some other name, please restore it. If this is not the case, please contact us on our email address at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to your site and wp-admin (login information and admin rights) so we can login and investigate. Please also include a link to this conversation.

Thank you!

Hello,

The mobile theme features a separate menu. It will appear in the locations section of wordpress: https://www.screencast.com/t/0eTPS73w
As for the page content, you have to create separate page layouts using the second mobile editor now available on the page edit in the back-end.
Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you!

Hello,

The social counter is a plugin so you need to modify the plugin files. Unfortunately it will not be simple as the social counter plugin is fairly complex and it features multiple files, not just a single one. https://www.screencast.com/t/OUfv2CIP
If you know your way around coding, you will find what you are looking for among these files. I cannot provide a solution in this regard however, as it represents customization and that is not covered by the theme support.

Thanks for understanding.

Hello,

This could be a possible solution: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/strange-chinese-symbols-replaced-icons-and-arrows/
If this is not the issue, please provide a link to your site so we can inspect it.

Thanks.

Hello,

The problem only seems to show up on the homepage. Please re-create the homepage in the tagdiv composer. start with a brand new page and add elements to it in the tagdiv composer page builder. Do not copy elements in the back-end from other pages. Use the builder to create your homage. It will not support elements that were created with another page builder. Please re-create your homepage.

Thank you!

Hello,

The block filter will change the posts shown on first load. If you want to change the categories displayed next to the block title, you have to change the ajax filter: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/

Thank you!

Hello,

Sorry but we have not tested dareboost so we have no idea of it’s test
Please use google page speed insights as it is a better trusted test.
There is no issue with our search form.

Here is the nonsensical part:

“HTML forms are used to send data. For accessibility purposes (eg using a screen reader), all your forms must include a submit button”

It is a search form. What data should you send? You only need results. You do not need to send anything to anybody except a request to the server to grab the specific results and the search form does just that. Our search is a live search that provides the results without tapping the button. That is why it does not recognize it.

Thank you!

Replied in the previous topic. No need to create multiple topics with the same issue.

Bogdan B.

Hello,

We know of 3 possible causes for this issue.

1) The wp super cache setting to cache page. Please only use these settings in wp super cache: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
If you use any other cache plugin, make sure you do not cache pages for known users or for logged in users depending on the plugin setting.

2) Do not use this setting in seo by yoast: https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh

3) Editing a page that was previously built with another page builder.
You need to edit the page with the builder it was initially created with. Do not edit a page with tagdiv composer if it was not originally built with it. If you created your page in visual composer and then switched to our own page builder, you will have to re-create that page

Thanks

Hello,

Please also test on a wp default theme. It refers to a wordpress file, not a theme file.
It is not an error but a warning. You probably have wpdebug set to ‘on’
wpdebug should be set to off

Thanks.
