Hello,

Unfortunately not all smart lists have ad spots. In smartlist 2 for instance you can only place an ad with custom code added to the theme file directly. You can use a do_shortcode function like in this example: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/smart-list-top-ad-bottom-for-featured-image/

Thank you!

Hello,

This is because you use the mobile theme plugin. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Hello,

Revolution slider cannot be updated or activate directly from the plugin author. We only recommend using the version of the plugin we provided in the theme package. We will provide the updates along with the theme updates. You must ignore all the messages about updates and activation of the plugin as the free version does not have an activation code nor can it be updated from the plugin author.

Thank you!

Hello,

Our theme is built for a newspaper type website, not a real newspaper where you pull information and print it. If you own a real newspaper then why use wordpress in the first place? WordPress is not a powerfull software you will need in a real newspaper. For that you will need an IT team that will handle everything you need, not a wordpress site and a printer. Our theme was built with a set amount of features and capabilities. If you require anything other than what we can provide you can either hire a developer to make the proper implementation you need or request a refund and we will provide it so you can choose another theme for your project.

Thank you!

Hello,

1) I’m not sure what you are referring to. The mobile content is full width, not narrow and the mobile theme is not supposed to show up on tablets. It is limited to 768 px width. Anything over 768 pixels will get the standard responsive version of the theme You may be experiencing some issues with the mobile theme on your site. Please provide a link so I can inspect it.

2) Disqus is not a tested and recommended plugin. Untested plugins could have css styling issues.

3) Please test this gallery on your tablet and see if it’s the same: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-aston-villa-beat-liverpool-to-join-arsenal-in-the-fa-cup-final/

Hi,

You will have to choose another size for your content ad. The size you chose is larger than the container so it falls back to the next size. The content width if you use a sidebar is 696 px. If you select a width larger than 696 px it will not work .
Please choose another size for your content ads: https://www.screencast.com/t/xoRmXd4S6

Hello,

No, the visual composer is not modified. It’s the theme that is modified in order for it to be compatible with the plugin. You can use your own plugin if you have a payed license for it but there is just 1 limitation. When an update is released for the plugin, we need to make the proper adjustments in the theme if something should not work so you should be careful when updating the plugin if we have not made the proper adjustments yet. We only recommend using the version we have tested and implemented in our theme code. Right now it’s version 5.0.1

Hello,

We have no official tested and recommended events plugin but if you search through this forum you will see what plugins others use. I think it’s called ‘events calendar’

Thanks

Hello,

You can edit the theme files and remove the call for the date on each module you want it hidden from. Here is an example: https://www.screencast.com/t/vTfYvVgRgrR

Hello,

We are open to suggestions if you have any to provide. You can send us the details in private if you want to via contact@tagdiv.com but I cannot promise you we will implement them in the theme though. We have lots of suggestions and we have to pick very carefully what we implement in our themes.

Thank you!

Hello,

Please use this guide to update your theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and use this one to update visual composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
You do not need to pay anything extra. You do not have to buy visual composer

Thank you!

Hello,

The theme allows you to add anything you want in the footer. Please choose an empty footer template and then use the 3 footer widgets to add your proffered content to the footer: https://www.screencast.com/t/t7tKbsrCjJ

Tabs - reply

Hello,

Ok, let’s try this a different way.
The solution posted above was to place a tab element on a post. On posts you cannot use visual composer out of the box (it can be activated from the plugin settings but it’s not tested) so the solution was to create the tab on a page as shown above…but on an empty page. Your example is of a page that has lots of other content. Simply create a blank page and only add the tab element on it. Nothing extra.
Then after you set it exactly as you want it, access the text mode and copy all of that code inside the post content in text mode as well.

Thank you!

Hi,

Well it’s best to not have 2 versions of the theme active and switch between them as wordpress will keep 2 sidebar entries in the database. In this case, you should start creating the sidebars from scratch as they cannot be copied from one theme to another, sorry

Thanks.

Bogdan B.

Hello,

Sorry but our theme does not have any rotating ads option. You can use the ‘adrotate’ plugin though.

Thanks

Bogdan B.
tagDiv Staff

1. Sorry but since we have our own cropping system, we did not test any cropping plugins

2. Unfortunately there is no such option. It will be a very time consuming process on your side adding a custom image for each thumb. As an example please test out a post with an image and enable all theme thumbs, then create a page with each theme element on it showing the same post. You will see how the image displays on each and every theme block. Then you can simply change the featured image to a size that will fit most elements or the elements that you prefer to use on your site. You do not need to alter the theme cropping system. Our theme provides blocks and modules that use different aspect ratios. You can choose the ones that will show your images the way you want them to. It will be much easier then changing the cropping system or adding manual cropped thumbs to each image.

Thanks.

Hello,

Revolution slider 5 is a big plugin and it cannot be activated from the theme panel. It has to be activated manually. As for the sliders, you can import a theme slide and then apply it to your pages or posts.

Thanks.

Hello,

This should not be the case as in our themes, the sidebar is always on the bottom. There could be a modification made on your site to make it that way or maybe a plugin affects it.
Please update your theme to the latest version (7.6) as I see you use an old version of the theme and test the sidebar again.
You can use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

Thank you!

Hello,

The theme blocks are containers for 1 or more modules. That does not mean that the number of modules is equal to the number of blocks. There are common modules in different blocks. If you want to see what mkodule is used on which block, please use this list: https://www.screencast.com/t/ZwZ3soDfsZLP

Thank you!

Hello,

The sidebars are sensitive to the names you assign to them. The sidebars will get stripped of content if you use any symbols or language specific characters. Please only use standard characters not any symbols such as!@#$%^&*(){}L:”><? as this will cause an error. The names cannot be seen anywhere else so you can use any name for them without language characters or symbols.

Let us know if you still have issues with the sidebar.

Thank you!
