Hi,
The mobile theme will not show any content from pages if no content is added in the new mobile editor you can see on pages. You will have to create mobile versions of your pages without the use of visual composer.
Please read this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!

Hi,
I have checked both links and the sidebar displays properly on both articles:
http://screencast.com/t/gVcNXc0bRyNhttp://screencast.com/t/gVcNXc0bRyN
The error could have been a caching error and now it got cleared.
Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
Thanks.

Hi,
The background comes from this category background image. A post will grab the background from the category you set to it: http://screencast.com/t/iczKMgbrEg
If you want to stop the post from receiving the category background you can delete or comment out this code: http://screencast.com/t/1c4nnhio0e

Hi,
Our theme does not create new tables, but saves all settings in wp_options pe td_011: http://screencast.com/t/UIrwBcJx
The name of the field can be found in td_config.php: http://screencast.com/t/wT9c2NVNX9
Individual post settings are kept in ‘post meta’

Hi,
Unfortunately we have not tested these add-ons so we cannot say for sure if they will work or not with our theme as we do not own a copy of these add-ons. The only extra features available for visual composer are the ones we provide that are theme specific: http://screencast.com/t/Cc3ol8h3iWL8
You can see a visual representation of these elements in our live demo under the ‘features’ menu item: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Thank you!

Buna ziua,

https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Daca problemele persista si dupa update, contacteaza-ne te rog pe mail la contact@tagdiv.com si ofera-ne username si parola (admin) sa ne putem loga pe site sa inspectam eroarea.

Multumesc

Hi,

Well not all tools that say you have malicious code or other anomalies are correct. Visual composer states the same about wordfence:
Hi, we always test Visual Composer to be 100% safe – also our 3rd party developers check it and Envato as well. So if you purchase Visual Composer directly from WPBakery you can be 100% sure there are no malicious files in there. As for Wordfence – we personally doubt this plugin, because of the several cases in the past when it acted on such things like shortened URLs and so on.
To follow along with the plugin authors, we at TagDiv assure you there is no exploit or malicious code in our themes or the version of visual composer we provide and these tools are highly doubtful. In order to make a correct assesment, you neet to use more tools, not a single opinion from an untested plugin. We cannot say for sure what the plugin detects as I have checked all of the lines fo code mentioned in the errors you received but there is nothing potentially harmful there. You can rest assured there is no threat. A premium theme is built with custom code and plugins cannot detect this. WordPress plugins are created on the standard wordpress code and cannot recognize custom functions that we use. That is why it detects threats as the code is not in the standard wordpress codex. This is the case with all premium themes.
Thank you!

Hello David.
I’m sorry for the misunderstanding but we never advertised that the plugin can or should be activated. We state the opposite in our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
You do not have to buy it and do not have to activate it as it’s a free version we provide bundled with our theme.
The front-end editor has been disabled from our theme as it created problems and could not be used. Our theme is adapted to work properly with visual composer as we created our own modules and blocks to work with the plugin.
You can only use visual composer in the back-end at the moment. Please follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
Thank you for your understanding and sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi,
Please provide a link to your site so we can see this racing car background and inspect it to see where it comes from. The theme does not add any video background by default.
Thank you!

Hello,
Our theme has a responsive design so any size of device is tested and working properly. Please also test our official demo at http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ There should not be any mobile menu or mobile device detected as mobiles are 767px and under. Please test our demo on such devices and see the result. If your site serves the mobile menu instead of the main menu that is a caching issue and is resolved by clearing the browser cache, plugin cache, hosting cache or cdn cache or all together if you use all.
Thank you!

Hi,
The modal image (lightbox) requires the images you add to your articles to link to the media file. If you set them to link to external links or the attachment page (and the modal image option is on), then this will be the result. Please set your images to link to the media file from the image settings and do not place any links in the caption of the image as this will also cause the lightbox to break.
You can read more about the modal image here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-window/
Thank you!

Hello,
The code does not come gfrom our theme nor is the code mallicious in any way. Wordfence detects it that way but these tools are not always right. Please check this topic: http://codecanyon.net/item/visual-composer-page-builder-for-wordpress/242431/comments?utf8=%E2%9C%93&term=+base64_decode&from_buyers_and_authors_only=0
This is the official response from the plugin author:
Hello, this is basically problem with Wordfence – the code used there has no harm and it can stay this way.
Thank you!

Hi,

You have that error because you have disabled the post date to be shown on posts. http://screencast.com/t/sZdRahexL

Just go to Theme panel and enable the post date http://screencast.com/t/dLGieHVUTN and if you want to hide it without having trouble with Google Structured Data, you can hide it via CSS, add this in Theme Panel -> Custom CSS

.single .td-post-date {
display:none!important;
}

Thanks.

Hello,
The code you exemplified does not come from the theme. Please check the files with winmerge and compare the default theme files to yours to see any at all code changes from the original files. Maybe your site got infected with mallware. If you identified the file in question, it’s easy to check it with winmerge and compare it to the main file from the package you download from envato.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!

Hello,
The top menu was not added to the mobile version of the site by default. It can be activated with css though. Please add this code in the advanced css box under mobile phones: http://screencast.com/t/etRIgCKf
.td-header-top-menu-full{
display:block!important;
}
.td-header-sp-top-menu {
display: block!important;
}

Hi,
The theme was not created to show the avatar next to the author on posts, but you can do it if you follow this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/author-bio-help/#post-45418
Hope this helps.

Hello,
Unfortunately due to the nature of newspaper 7, these 2 plugins (wooinvoice and woolabel) were removed from the theme package and are no longer tested in the current version. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. You can still use woocommerce with our theme and benefit from all it’s features as it is tested and working properly.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hi,
Unfortunately customization is not part of the theme support as our support policy states: https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/
If you cannot manage to do it, we recommend hiring a freelancer to help out from sites like studio.envato.com as we cannot offer any custom work at the moment.
Thank you!

Hi,
I have checked your site and there is no page title present: http://screencast.com/t/gvPxCI9XsouA
There is only one of the 3 page templates that shows the page title the other 2 do not show it: http://screencast.com/t/DB5LLzsyo6V
If you do not want a page title, then do not chose pagebuilder + page title.
Thanks

Hi,
There is no official tested ad plugin as we have our own ad system. Adrotate works with our theme even though it’s not tested by us but by our users. it only seems to require the javascript to load in it’s default state, not moved to the footer with the speedbooster plugin.
Thanks.

Hi,
Please add your preferred sizes by selecting them from the size drop-down for the ads. If you prefer the 728×90 size, you can select it for your ad here: http://screencast.com/t/MRUc2K73Ws
The auto function will only show the dimensions you can see in this file: http://screencast.com/t/ZLzcJiV0 and they seem to be set to 300px from the code.
Thank you!

Hi,
You can add more custom ad spots like so: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/create-additional-custom-ads/
As for the sidebar, you can access the widgets area and place an ad box on your sidebar. You can place as many ad boxes as you wish: http://screencast.com/t/TamAJmcPpvu
Thanks.

Hi,
Speedbooster cannot move everything out of the box. You need to add the js and css for what does not get removed by hand as exemplified in the tutorial. Please also use this topic to learn about how to change the priority for speedbooster so it can detect more render blocking elements: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/help-in-using-speedboost/
Please note that render blocking elements do not add too much speed to your site. You will have to check the other sections as well and use a caching plugin (we recommend wp super cache.)
Please handle all of the options in this guide (https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/) and leave render blocking for last.
As for the css, if you use speedbooster and move style.css to the footer, you will need to edit the colors directly in the file by editing it with a text editor (notepad++ or similar) and changing the colors by hand: http://screencast.com/t/sNwxBK99DoRd
Thank you!

Hi,

Unfortunately the theme will not upscale your images. It only crops them. You need to upload images bigger than the containers on the homepage if you want them to display properly. There is another issue on your end though. Your site does not use thumbnails for images. you nned to make sure your thumbs are set for the blocks that you use on your site: http://screencast.com/t/yYYqdI8O And then use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/

As for the image sizes, there is no ideal image size I can recommend. You will have to asses the containers and thumbs you plan on using on your site and the post templates as well. if you use post templates that use the full size images like: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-2015-awards-all-of-the-best-and-worst-moments-from-the-show/ then a full had image is required. If not, you need to inspect every element especially on the homepage. If you use big grids, your images must be at least the size of the big grid container otherwise they will not fit inside and not display properly. Here is a list of all thumbs used in our theme:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
also:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/

Hope this helps.
Thank you!
