Please update your social counter bu deactivating and deleting files and installing the correct one from here: http://screencast.com/t/ZxtxdfG5 Make sure you have version 4.0 of the counter for it to work on newspaper 7 as multiple styles were added to the plugin that are not supported on older versions.

@wildmercury the back-end changes if you activate the mobile theme as on pages there will be an extra mce editor for the mobile theme page. You can edit this page but not with visual composer. That is why you have the “strange” changes in tehe back-end because there are 2 editors now. One for desktop and one for mobile. If you deactivate the mobile theme, the second editor will be gone.
As for the social counter, please make sure you have version 4.0 installed and then follow this guide to properly set it up: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/

@eddycom Something might have gone wrong with the installation of the theme or the update. Please remove the theme altogether via ftp and access your wp-admin without the theme and see if there is still an error. 1) The images disappeared because of a plugin you installed that is not compatible with our theme and that caused the javascript to break and images to not display anymore. Please try to remove the plugin causing this issue. You can try to disable all of them except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then activate them one by one and figure out which one causes the issue.

There are a number of new features in newspaper 7 that are covered in the documentation so might want to read a bit about the new features.

Unfortunately this is the case with every premium theme. Not all plugins are compatible and when major updates are released, some plugins could stop working or others could start working as the code gets changed. The code is custom in a premium theme and plugins are created based on the wordpress default code. That is why incompatibility happens. unfortunately there is little we can do in this matter.

3) The header cannot change it;s width. There are only 2 variations for the header and footer width. If a background color or image is set, the header and footer will go into boxed mode. If no background image or color is set, they will display full width.

The mobile theme does not use visual composer. It converts your page to a predefined one using only a grid and latest articles. These cannot be changed as they are not added in visual composer, but coded in directly.

unfortuantely the vertical space from section 1 of your screenshot cannot be modified that easy as if you modify it,element will break on your site as our theme was built with a fixed width and all elements depend on this fixed width. If it is changed, elements will ‘break’ as their css will not apply properly anymore.

The activation message can be ignored as the free version we provide with our theme cannot be activated nor does it need to. It;s simply a message that the plugin author added disregarding the free versions theme authors provide for their users.

The thumbnail for this block stays the same for all screens. There is no bigger thumbnail for a bigger screen. Different blocks have different thumbnails on mobile devices. Block 24 is not one of them unfortunately.

The updated version of the plugin no longer has the visual representation of the templates. they can be found here now: http://screencast.com/t/H09uFEr8 and you can select the template you want from a drop-down list, but without the visual icons.
The new version also included this message for activation but you can ignore this message as the free version we bundle with our theme cannot be activated. They ‘omitted’ to remove the message from these versions of the plugin and we cannot hack the plugin as it will break our license agreement with wpbakery.

Unfortunately that will be more complicated as blocks were not created to work with a custom taxonomy. A CPT will work on blocks but not it;s taxonomy. This will require substantial coding knowledge to make so we recommend hiring a freelancer to do it from sites like studio.envato.com.
