Let me explain it another way. Speedbooster has a list of compatible plugins inside it’s code. http://screencast.com/t/hcjLnOqh4i2
If any plugins you use are not on this list, speedbooster will deactivate itself. If you remove this code the plugin will work normally even with plugins that are not on the list, but the tricky thing is this: plugins that are not compatible may cause issues with speedbooster or it will not be able to move the render blocks for those plugins to the footer. So you can test the speedbooster plugin with all your plugins using the method provided by Alin but we cannot guarantee it’s success afterwards.

Unfortunately this is a known issue and we are working on fixing this. The solution at the moment is to have the menu items link to # and have the sub-menus provide the desired content mega-menu or simple sub-menu.
The hamburger menu method is not so easy to apply as you need to change the css for it and it will be a tedious task as there are lots of entries that need changing.

It may be done with css if you set it to display both time and date from the php files and then hide the time with css with display:none; Then you can activate it with display:block or display:inline but only on the page itself in a row in visual composer with a custom class so it can be targeted with css. It cannot be done in the sidebar however.

The modules will not break as they use the function from a different file, but there is for example one module that uses the function from here: module 15. This is not used within a block but rather the templates: blog, search…etc. If you use this module after your customization, it will have no post titles an no link to the posts themselves.

1) Unfortunately if you have black on black, then yes, this will be the result. You can however change the hover colors from the visual composer block settings.

2) This forum does not accept atachments but you can insert a link to the screenshot. Verdana is indeed used on the body even in our demo: http://screencast.com/t/uPLUXlQvM91A but this can be changed from the fonts section.

3)We have not added this option yet but maybe in a future version we will be able to insert a ‘most used’ or favorites section at the top of the dropdown.

If you bought the theme a year ago and did not update since, then you will have to reinstall the theme as the patch will not work. If you have newspaper 6, then your settings will be kept, but if you have newspaper 4 then it will be a bit more tricky. There are 2 ways to add css code in our theme. The first and most easy way is to add it in the theme panel->custom css box. the second one is adding it directly inside style.css found in the root directory of the theme files. Add the code at the very bottom of the file.

If you modify the module 8 file then everywhere a module 8 is displayed, it will get the time instead of the date. If you want to only target one single block containing a module 8 that will be a much greater challenge as you need to add extra conditions in the code. This is much more complex and will require substantial coding knowledge. We recommend hiring a freelancer for this as we have no easy solution to provide.

Unfortunately this error could come from a big number of problems. I believe it happens due to a server configuration which is not responding, it could be due to a delay or it could also be a temporary issue so you can try this a few times and if you still get this error please contact your host provider and let him know about this, ask them to unblock our demo in order to retrieve the theme data. It could also happen due to your wp install or other plugins might also cause this. Also make sure that your permission for the upload folder are set correct. You can check this by trying to upload an image in media library. If the process succeeds then the permission are ok. If not you can use the c-panel to change permissions (set them to 777) or if you do not have access to the cpanel, please contact your hosting provider.

If you haven;t please try to deactivate all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. you can also try to disable and delete the plugin and install it again.
