2)If you are using the using the header styles which uses the logo in full width, you should use a larger size for your site logo for better results. The size for your banner ad is 728*90 px as you can see in our documentation.
3)If you want to have the latest version of Visual Composer, tested with our theme, yo should download the latest theme packet from Theme Forest because the Visual Composer come bundled with the theme core packet and you must not buy any license for this plugin. Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to achieve exactly the same Grid layout like as in your above example, sorry! Notice that you should use the predefined Blocks and Big Grid from our panel in order to achieve something like this. Keep in mind that our Big Grids do not be used for 2 columns but only for one column. Please keep in mind that the loading script button has no negative effect on your web site if you had already installed version 7. You should reset all your settings from theme panel and check the results. I have inspected your website and I noticed that works fine. If you had the latest version installed, the loading script button is hidden. Notice that we recommend that all the time to have your theme updated to bring the best results.

Please keep in mind that our theme does not have any Event’s Manager’s content. Most likely, this comes from a plugin which has this functionality, like Events Manager plugin, right? Unfortunately, this type of plugins is not tested with the theme, and we have no idea about the theme behavior, sorry! I am able that exists a lot of plugins for WordPress, but this cannot mean that any other plugin will work as expected with our theme product, sorry! The core files of our theme are entirely complex, and this type of plugin can interact with these and cause a lot of unknown issues. Before releasing a new plugin to be compatible with our theme, notice that our developer’s team should make some deeper investigations with the theme and where appropriate to make some adjustments for a better performance. This is not a simple task and we cannot provide support and custom implementation for untested plugins, sorry!

You can target the page with a CSS and use the background-image rule but the image on the background will not be stretched and therefore, the page will not be covered by the image. In order to achieve the best results after you will install the latest update you have to follow some rigorous steps like this -> you have to delete both of your themes, child theme, and main theme. All your customizations from your Newspaper 4 theme will do not work because all the files from this were changed in Newspaper 7.8 and as the main theme and also you lose all changes.

The Newspaper 7.8 is a whole new theme so an update from 4 to 7.8 may cause the same issues as switching to another theme (but we did try to maintain compatibility where ever possible).

Always make a full backup of your current installation – https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups and then do a clean update, meaning that we recommend that you delete the old version of the theme before uploading the new one – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ update also the plugins that come bundled with the theme files from the /plugins folder. In the “how to update” guide is specified that you will have to run the script that will import from database your settings.

The shortcodes have been changed so old ones will not work anymore. Please note that old files customization or custom CSS will not work with the new version and you will have to adjust or re-add them.

Bottom line is that newspaper 7.8 is a whole new theme built from scratch.
Unfortunately, you will have to clear your agenda and spare a bit of time to adjust all your settings to the new version of the theme.

If you have already Newspaper 6 and you want only to do the update to latest version, you should make this without any problem. All your customization are recorded in the database which is not affected by this update.
