Please try to re-install your theme, remove the actual and install it again via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. Also, please install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. For more information about theme installing, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/

Hi amaestri274,
Unfortunately, the td_module.php is called permanently in this case but keep in mind that this cannot be overwritten in the child theme, sorry! As a quick solution, you will have to make the folder in your Child Theme like this -> Newspaper child -> images -> no-thumb and then, in td_module.php core file you will have to do some changes, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/TTj78I6QKk and you will bring good results. Also, please notice that for each update, you will have to make these changes because, the td_module.php is not supported by Child Theme.

Hello sanny,
If you want to show only the first level categories, please notice that you will have to do this modification in td_block_mega_menu.php, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/Pkvn5QEdGm
For your second request, if you want to sort the categories from your mega menu, the subcategories are displayed in alphabetical order, if you want to change this order you could try to use a plugin like Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order as I saw that many users use it.
Thanks!
