Please make sure that you do not have JavaScript errors which can be caused by untested plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. As you can see in our demo preview, all works fine and does not appear differences between fonts on any browsers.

The simplest way to have the H1 tag on your homepage is using the pagebuilder+page title as the template, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/6iO24JGCPUR and then your page title will have H1 tag. Another possibility would be to use a text block for your homepage and set the H1 text as in the example above. In the next major update, we will implement H1 tag in the logo section but until we will release this you can use these methods.

Please make sure that this problem does not come from your untested plugins which can create some interferences in the theme and could cause this type of issue. Try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
