The elements are pre-made and it can not be excluded some parts that are already part of the element.

In my above example the main category and the subcategory and after that the article title are display. This is only a nice and good structure and it can help users to understand that the current article is part of a subcategory on a main category, but it is not a must to have this structure.

Unfortunately the cache option is only on flex blocks.
If you want to make a few tests I will suggest to remove on homepage the youtube videos and for menu to replace all menus that are made using page or category with custom links – https://i.imgur.com/3TU1ttE.png this will reduce the number of queries and the website should become faster.
