3. If you are using the same demo and the only thing that you did was the theme update then the blocks colors should be the same.

4. There is no problem with the mobile and table view, please make sure that this problem is not made some untested plugins.

After you get the email that the problem with the theme plugins was fixed, did you reinstall them or the theme? because if you did that the problem reappear, the fix were made only in the current files, if you try to update/re-install the plugins or theme, the fix that were made are removed.
In case that you did this and the problem for plugins reappear, what you can do is to use a plugin like Enable Jquery Migrate Helper – This should fix the issue.
Also if the problem still persists after you’ve made these changes, please try only with the plugins because it can be a plugin conflict.

2. Please do not use WPBakery with tagDiv Cloud Library, this will not work correctly. please disable the WPBakery plugin and the layout will be display correctly.

3. To remove the author you need to edit the single post template with tagDiv Composer and use the right click on author to remove it.

4. So you want to set a link to this external page or you want to make a page like above article, if you want to make a page, maybe we can help with a custom css.
On the page provide the z-index indeed is page under page when is set under 0 and over the text when is equal or greater then 0, somehow the z-index is not apply correctly on all elements from the page.
