Sorry for misunderstanding, you wanted then count removed and I gave you a code for the text. That code Bogdan mentioned will do that, you can use them both as well. Add it like this to be fully correct (there is an extra semicolon in Bogdan’s code)

.td_block_social_counter .td_social_info{
display:none!important;
}

The caution appears because of the !important used in the code, there will be no problem in this case, you can use it safely.

Please let us know if you have more questions.

Hi,

So you want to display a bigger logo on mobile? Note that there is a width setting for the logo image – http://prntscr.com/n9ilkp try using that to control the image dimensions. Set a width of 480 for example, if that is the size you want to display on mobile.

If I misunderstand please correct me.
Thanks

Hi,

I have checked the website, specifically the Cosmopolitan mega menu. Looks like this for me at this time
http://prntscr.com/n9igww
From what I can see the menu works alright, what exactly is the problem with it? Some more details would be helpful.

Thanks

Hi,

Please check if the wp-debug is set to false in the wp-config file
https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/
If it’s not, set it to false, then check if the warnings are removed.

Hi,

Using older versions than 8.7.3 Instagram may not work properly or at all. There were modifications on their side, so we had to fix the social counter and Instagram widget in order to maintain the functionality – http://prntscr.com/n9idux

If you don’t want to update the theme, you could try the fix we provided at the time, for the social counter – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/social-counter-and-instagram-problem/

Hi,

Yes you can, the latest version of the theme is now 9.6.1. There is a changelog for each update here (bottom of the page)
https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609

As always it is recommended to make a backup before updating
https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
After you update the theme, update the theme plugins as well. Also, if you use a child theme and have copied files from the main theme in it in order to modify/add code in them, note that in updates we also modify theme files. If there are problems, copy the necessary files again in the child theme and redo the modifications (remove the old files).

Hi,

So the color was not the same across all browsers? That would be unusual. The header colors for the mobile header (when the mobile theme is active) should be the ones set here
http://prntscr.com/n9i797
These should appear as set in all browsers when checking on mobile. In desktop as well it should be the same. Currently I see you have disabled the mobile plugin, I checked with Chrome and Safari, the header looks the same in both.

Thanks

Hi,

That would be somewhat expected to happen, by default the post content width is 696px. So using an ad of that width will most likely cause the problem you are facing.

Try to use ads with a maximum width of 696px or smaller if possible. Or use cloud post templates in which you can stretch the rows containing the post content. Here are some cloud post templates designed by us that you can import
https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single
Here you can also edit them – https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single
These templates can be imported with the cloud library plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

Hi,

The tagDiv composer doesn’t have a backend version, it is a front end composer only. In the backend of the page there will be shortcodes – http://prntscr.com/n9gdu5 this is normal. Those shortcodes are the page content.

WPBakery does have a backend editor. If you want to create pages with it, it is provided in the theme package. Note that there may be problems if you edit pages created in one page builder, with the other.

The theme demos are all created with the tagDiv composer. If you have more questions let us know.

Hi,

Please make sure there are enough resources as mentioned in the following guide (especially wp-memory)
https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/
We recommend a value of 256M for the memory if possible. Check the other parameters as well, because there may be such problems if the server resources are limited or insufficient.
Also we recommend to use newer PHP versions, like 7,7.1 or 7.2.

Hi,

I see what you are referring to, the sidebar from the latest articles section
http://prntscr.com/n9g0mb

That sidebar and the latest articles section can’t be moved or edited in the composer. This section along with it’s sidebar will always appear at the bottom of pages, when the Page Builder + Latest Articles + Pagination template is used
https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
So that sidebar can be left or right of the latest articles, or disabled
http://prntscr.com/n9g2kt

If you want it to be displayed in a different part of the page, add a widget sidebar element with the composer – http://prntscr.com/n9g3c3http://prntscr.com/n9g3fu and select the desired sidebar.

Please let us know if you have more questions.

Hi,

All logo images can be changed according to your liking. Please post a link to the website or some screenshots so I can see exactly what you want to do.

Maybe you mean the logo in the menu when the header is sticky, you can choose the logo that appears there or even disable it- http://prntscr.com/n9fzkz

Let me know.

Hi,

That will be possible with CSS, some guides – https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-style-contact-form-7-in-wordpress/
https://tagdiv.com/how-to-create-custom-code-in-newspaper-theme/

So for example this code provided in the guide this will apply yo the button of the form
http://prntscr.com/n9fx8z
You can customize it as you wish. If you need help with it let me know. Mention how you want it to be.

Hi,

We are investigating an issue like the one that is happening here. Seems that when there aren’t enough posts in a category that uses a cloud template, the header will not load properly. That is why in the first example the header template loads, while in the second it does not.
If there aren’t enough posts to populate the top grid and the loop below it, the cloud header will not be displayed.

We will fix this issue in the next theme update, sorry for this inconvenience. One solution would be to create category templates for those categories (with less posts in them) that don’t have a top grid so that the posts display in the loop.

There is also a quick fix that I could provide you until the theme update is released. replace this theme file – http://prntscr.com/n9fstd
With this one – http://www.filedropper.com/tdutil (make a backup of the file before attempting).

Hi,

Seems the text coming from the wordpress user bio doesn’t have any style to it. Using a text element (column text or text with title) instead of the author description element, would be a better choice in this case for a author template.

Should work alright, just place a column text for example, in the author template and enter the needed text in it – http://prntscr.com/n9fi4q this way you can style the text better. When closing the text window it should save the content automatically
http://prntscr.com/n9fir4

If there is a problem doing the above, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, we will take a look. Mention what exactly are you doing and what is happening. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Hi,

Seems the thumbnails are not decoded properly after using that filtering system
http://prntscr.com/n9f5dq

You could try to deactivate the theme lazy load in the theme panel, then check if this has any effect – http://prntscr.com/n9f8ch
Or if you use a different lazyload plugin or implementation, deactivate that as well to see if the issue is fixed.

Hi,

The mobile theme can only display an image logo, currently it cannot display a text logo like on desktop. I could add this as a request and it will be considered.

The header that the mobile theme displays will not be the one that you build with the header builder in the composer. Only when the mobile theme is not active will that be displayed (responsive version). So to display the mobile cloud header template you have built, the mobile theme has to be deactivated.

Most of the mobile theme elements and templates are predefined, this is what makes it faster. We will add more options and settings in it in future updates. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Hi,

That should be possible with some CSS. Please post a link to the website where the search appears, so we can take a look at it.

Thanks

Please enter the shortcode in a column text element, not in the raw HTML. The column text will work with shortcodes.

I tried to create a CSS for it, I wasn’t successful unfortunately. Seems to be quite difficult without damaging the quality of the image itself.

I will however add this as an issue so it will be investigated for cases when the image is set co contain. A solution will be found. I am sorry for this inconvenience.

Hi,

I see the same header menu in all those pages and posts – http://prntscr.com/n7tgwh
http://prntscr.com/n7tgzhhttp://prntscr.com/n7th6s
The menus you set should be the same across the whole website, when using predefined header templates. Maybe try and do a force refresh in the browser for the pages where you see the issue (Ctrl+Shift+R), could be browser cache.

Thanks

Hi,

This may be caused by old PHP versions. Please ask your hosting provider to update the PHP to 7 or greater. Chances are the issue will be solved.

Also check the other theme requirements, here is a guide – https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/

Let us know.

Hi,

That is unusual, are you using Gutenberg or the classic editor? I tried in both, seems to work alright – http://prntscr.com/n7t4c5http://prntscr.com/n7t50p

In Gutenberg seems in my case there is a small delay after writing the tag until it appears, but it does appear – https://www.screencast.com/t/unlZKNsB2

In your case they do not appear at all? What if you try with the classic editor?

Thanks

Hi,

Some footer templates come with predefined content, others are blank and will display only the widgets you enter in the footer columns – https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
The predefined content in the templates cannot be edited with settings.

The editors picks is a simple block 7 widget sorted by featured, so it will display featured posts only
https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
You could select a footer template with empty columns, for example
http://prntscr.com/n3zqf3
Then enter the same block 7 widget in the first footer column – http://prntscr.com/n3zqwh
Now you can customize it as you want – http://prntscr.com/n3zrua

The popular posts in the second footer column is still a block 7 widget but filtered by popular posts. The widget in the third footer column is a popular category widget
http://prntscr.com/n3ztjl

If you have more questions let us know.

Hi,

The code you enter in the theme panel main analytics section will be loaded when the mobile theme is active as well – http://prntscr.com/n7stns

You could use the loop ad spot – http://prntscr.com/n7sv7a set it to appear after 10 posts which is the number of posts displayed in the loop by default. It will appear at the bottom of the homepage and category pages – http://prntscr.com/n7sxdn

Thanks
