One tip would be that if you use flex blocks with smaller modules such as this one
– http://prntscr.com/mgsmsb
Those modules will load a default thumbnail which is bigger than what would be needed for such a small module, you can select a smaller size for them – http://prntscr.com/mgspsa
This will reduce the page size.
There is a 404 error on an element, seems to be relates to a lazy load plugin
– http://prntscr.com/mgswbl
The theme already has a lazy load function, if you use a plugin for this task disable the one from the theme because there could be problems – http://prntscr.com/mgsxu0
Hi,
I will try to help you, what exactly are you trying to do? Let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
There is a custom code section in the theme panel, enter it in the custom CSS box
– http://prntscr.com/mgsij8
Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
You could use default grids, these use thumbnails exactly cut for the respective modules
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-1/
Adding more sizes to the flex grids and blocks is present on our to do list. You could add more in the td_config file as you say but the changes will be lost after an update.Better to use the api plugin provided here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/practical-example-how-to-add-a-new-block-and-module/
Add he api:update there, for example – http://prntscr.com/mgsgru
Then regenerate the thumbnails (I use the force regenerate plugin) and the grid will use the size you set – http://prntscr.com/mgsh89
Could be other ways of doing it maybe.
Hi,
From what I can find having duplicate analytics code will lead to inaccurate data, you should have only one code, here is an article I found
– https://www.houseofprogress.co/blog/google-analytics-duplicated-code-affected-metrics/
The same for Facebook pixel where there will be an error
– https://stackoverflow.com/questions/36313317/how-to-fix-duplicate-facebook-pixel-id-error
So either leave the codes as they are in the theme panel, or remove them from there and add them in the plugin.
Thanks
Hi,
You mean here in the support forum? That is not possible, the topics here are available to all registered users. Hiding them or deleting them is not possible to users.
Thanks
Hi,
You could first set a full width for the image – http://prntscr.com/mgryb9
Then on mobile set a height – http://prntscr.com/mgryh6
The results will be better on mobile while the desktop will remain the same.
Or instead of a single image use a column text and insert the image there
– http://prntscr.com/mgryug
This way the image will be fully responsive at all times. Give it a try.
Thanks
Hi,
An email will be requested only once, when the theme is activated for the first time. Activating it a second time you won’t have to create a new account. Just activate it normally as mentioned in the guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-6-how-to-activate-the-theme/
Thanks
Hi,
You could use the mobile theme plugin, this will allow you to set a menu just for mobile
– http://prntscr.com/mgrrcc
More information about the mobile plugin here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks
Hi,
It will look like this with the mobile Chrome browser – http://prntscr.com/mghm0g
This theme demo has the AMP plugin enabled
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_crypto/td-post-ripple-ceo-and-ethereum-co-founder-bash-ico-industry/amp/
If you search for the post in Google search and open it that is how it will look.
Thanks
The classy demo uses a cloud template for the posts, you can change it to a different template if you want to.
With the introduction of the cloud library plugin, now post templates and many other templates can be created with the tagDiv composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
There are templates designed by us which can be imported
– https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/All
Also there are blank templates which can be used to create a template from scratch. Using cloud templates is not mandatory, the default post templates are still available.
You can install the demo with no content, this way only the theme panel settings will be imported. This demo has an additional stylesheet but it is minimal indeed
– http://prntscr.com/mghck5
Most of it’s design is made in the composer directly with the available settings. Flex blocks were used mostly and these have a great deal of options and settings. We tried to keep the design similar to the erotic demo but there were some changes.
The class td-erotic is no more, it is now td-classy. This was one of the reasons the erotic demo has been modified.
You can remove the body class if it remained in the theme pane, it has no purpose anymore. Unless you used it in custom CSS code.
If you need help with anything else let me know.
Try to regenerate the thumbnails if there are problems with the images in blocks/grids and other modules – https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
This will recreate all the sizes needed by the theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
Also be sure to check the theme requirements guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
In some cases problems with images in the media library were caused by low wp-memory or when using older versions of PHP. If you use an older version of PHP, try to use 7 or 7.1 if possible.
In case the problem remains in the website, a link to the website where the issue is happening would be helpful so I can take a look.
Hi,
Seems to happen because of the general line height set for the block titles, by the demo
– http://prntscr.com/mggg76
You could leave that setting as it is and set a lower line-height in the ticker settings
– http://prntscr.com/mgghwn
Thanks
Hi,
The flex block modules use one of these thumbnails – http://prntscr.com/mgg7ui
If you modify the thumbnail sizes in the code, it will affect all the instances where that thumb is used on the whole website.
Maybe you can do what is needed using the flex block settings for the image. What exactly do you want to do?
Thanks
Hi,
The posts, pages, and theme panel data are kept in the database on the server. Maybe you did not export/import the database or something did not work properly during the migration.
Check some tutorials about it – https://www.wpexplorer.com/migrating-wordpress-website/
– https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-move-wordpress-to-a-new-host-or-server-with-no-downtime/

Hi,
So centered like this – http://prntscr.com/mgg24b
.woocommerce-page .woocommerce a.button {
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
display: table;
padding: 15px;
}
The padding will increase the size of the button, change it as you want.
If you want to change the add to cart button text, you could use these codes
– https://www.templatemonster.com/help/woocommerce-how-to-change-add-to-cart-button-text.html
Seems to work on my end – http://prntscr.com/mgg2pv
Thanks
Hi,
Use a cloud post template, design it the way you want with the tagDiv composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Here you can see cloud post templates designed by us, you can preview and even edit them
– https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single
Each one can be imported and used, or you can create your own by using the blank template.
Thanks
Hi,
Does the same happen if you make a quick test with a default WordPress theme? If it does you could begin by re-saving the permalinks in the WordPress settings
– https://www.dev-metal.com/quick-fix-404-error-wordpress-category-tag-page/
Also check the code from the htaccess file, could be something there. Worth investigating plugins as well.
Thanks
Hi,
So the background color should affect the page content only in the homepage. One solution would be to stretch the rows in the homepage, and set a background color for each of them
– http://prntscr.com/mgf1wi – http://prntscr.com/mgf221
It can be done with some CSS as well, just for the homepage
– http://prntscr.com/mgf77i
I could modify the code if needed, let me know
.home .td-main-page-wrap,
.home ins,
.home .td-header-style-10 .td-banner-bg {
background-color: #d8d4dd;
}
Thanks
Hi,
@dave4math The Instagram section should synchronize every 3 hours or so. We could take a look at the issue if that is not happening in your case. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Hi,
For the best results each header style has a recommended logo size which should be used
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
As a side note there will be a header builder introduced in the coming theme update, this will add a great deal of flexibility to the header section.
Thanks
Hi,
The header has an ad spot, it will appear differently depending on header style used
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-ads-adsense/
With the new header builder that will be introduced in the coming theme update, it may be possible to change the ad position in the header.
But for the moment if you want to chnage it or add elements in the header it will require modifications to the header template you are using – http://prntscr.com/mgepcy
A background ad consisting of a background image and link can be set in the theme panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-ads/
This would not be how you wanted however.
Thanks
Hi,
You can change that text in the theme panel translation settings
– http://prntscr.com/mgel8m – http://prntscr.com/mgelhj
If you are changing it in the theme panel and it does not change in the website, maybe you need to clear the cache. Also force refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R) or check in incognito.
Thanks
Hi,
Maybe this topic is helpful – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/product-archives-only-bring-back-4-items-functions-php-has-been-modified-too/
Thanks
Hi,
The slide has a setting for the height – http://prntscr.com/mgeidv
So you could set a height there, no need for CSS. If I misunderstand something please correct me.
Thanks
