Hi,
So this option is missing for you? – https://www.screencast.com/t/TvvEclCY
In most similar cases until now the issue was caused by a plugin. Try that as well, deactivate them all (except theme plugins) as a quick test and check if the setting appears. I am testing with latest version as well, the option is there.
Thanks
Hi,
You can limit the post titles to a certain length of your choosing, the uneven block titles will result in different height for the modules.
First choose an excerpt type in the theme panel (words or letters)
Then depending on module used, set a title length for all of them at once.
In the composer you can also set custom excerpts lengths, per block and module.
Example – https://www.screencast.com/t/wTK68vJD
Thanks
Hi,
I believe you are referring to this – https://www.screencast.com/t/l5zXXuXIi0FN
That is made with the same cryptocurrency plugin I believe, but a different style.
If there are problems with the text elements, please re-download the theme and install it. There were some issues with these elements but they are now fixed and the theme has been re-uploaded.
Thanks
Hi,
There are a few sliders provided in the theme package for the revolution slider
– https://www.screencast.com/t/49BKNTGh
Regarding the other issue, the mobile theme front page will try to display a post grid at the top. The posts that are displayed there will be picked from the “Featured” category
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
If there are no posts in the mentioned category, the grid will be empty. So add posts to the Featured category (created by default).
Or disable the optional mobile plugin and display the same content from desktop. It all depends on your choice.
Thanks
Hi,
There are plans to add more improvements to the AMP plugin as well, ad sizes included. For the moment if you want to modify that value you would have to modify the plugin files
– https://www.screencast.com/t/AQn9Aj1Bg1
That may or may not work, I did not test it.
Thanks
Hi,
These would be all the available block header styles
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-header-1/
You can set a block header for each block – https://www.screencast.com/t/qXwIqi9q4l
Or set one in general – https://www.screencast.com/t/tUNW2HpN
If I misunderstand something please correct me.
Thanks
Hi,
That is indeed on our list, there are many various issues however. We try to fix/modify/improve as many as possible for each update.
At some point this will be looked into, or a new functionality will be implemented for the header styles. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
@tcustudentmedia Replied in your other topic.
Hi,
As long as the theme requirements are met, there should be no problem using it or it’s provided plugins. Usually hosting limitations cause problems, we recommend these settings
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If there is no need for modifications in that matter, in some cases the solutions from these topics worked for tagDiv composer problems, you could give them a try if possible
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/
Please let us know if there is still a problem.
Thanks
Hi,
I think I know why this happens. Please check in the theme panel here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/bWTlhJ8E
Remove any image you find there, replace them with your own or simply remove them. Then the issue should be solved.
Thanks
Hi,
First be sure to check the theme requirements guide, the most common cause for theme and theme plugin problems are insufficient resources
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Contact your hosting and ask them to increase the parameters mentioned in the guide, if they need to be increased.

Please let us know if there still is a problem using the composer after you try these suggestions.

Hi,
There was an issue previously like you mention. The option to choose a sidebar did not function. Despite the page not having any page builder content it did not allow any sidebar setting.
Now it is solved, in the latest version – https://www.screencast.com/t/MT15VWVPakU
So if you use an older version those settings may not work. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
Most of the multi-purpose elements are in relation to the tagDiv composer (row layouts, multi-purpose elements etc). If you have any questions about these I will gladly help you. mention what you want to know.
Previously there was a multi-purpose plugin, now it is included in the tagDiv composer. So the composer will contain all the multi-purpose elements.
Thanks
Hi,
Ads in the cloud loop element are not possible at the moment. The cloud library loop element does not use the module you are referring to or share the same theme files. This would require you to modify the plugin files, the modifications will also be lost after an update.
This would be the loop file of the plugin, maybe you can modify this to display ads in it

Hi,
Currently you use the default WordPress blog page (a latest articles list). This cannot be edited with the composer. Only pages built with the composer can be edited with it.
Create a new page, design it as you want. Then set it as homepage
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
Some more guides here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Please let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
For me the slider looks like this in Chrome and Firefox as well
– http://prntscr.com/kjadsi
That is how it should look for you as well in these browsers. If it looks different, force refresh the page a few times (Ctrl+Shift+R) or check browser extensions maybe.
Hi,
I believe these that header style will be reworked by us in the near future. If there is not enough space in the menu (on smaller devices) the logo will be at the left and the menu items below it. At some point the logo will be resized
– https://www.screencast.com/t/WG6U278ed
I could try and give you a CSS solution if you could mention how you want it to look.
Hi,
There would be no relation between the two plugins. If deactivating a plugin is improving the situation, maybe there are not enough resources to go around. Try to increase them as mentioned in the guide or higher if possible
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thanks
Hi,
Try to switch to a different image size in the single image element
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ci93jdYDi3
Try with the auto or contain image size, that should do it.
Thanks
Hi,
That is a big grid, this one to be more exact
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-3/
There is a slight gradient for the bottom part of the module, to make the title more visible. For example if you use a lighter featured image, if that gradient was not there the title would be hard to read of invisible.
If none of the grid styles available are to your liking, I could give you a code to remove it with this result
– http://prntscr.com/kj9v4k
The code can be entered in Theme panel->Custom CSS.
.td-grid-style-1.td-hover-1 .td-module-thumb a:last-child:before {
display: none;
}
Thanks
Hi,
The bbpress and buddypress plugins can be used regardless of demo you choose to install. The demo you mention doesn’t use anything specific for these plugins. Importing the demo will not import the bbpress and buddypress plugins and the pages you mention. You have to install the plugins and create the forums page for example.
The forums page is created like this
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-install-bbpress-forum/
This will require that you have the bbpress plugin active as well. Then you can place the forums page in the menu as you want. Once the buddypress and bbpress plugins are active, they will appear in the menus section
– https://www.screencast.com/t/H7GBTZNhzNAu
More documentation for both plugins is here
– https://codex.bbpress.org/
Thanks
Hi,
I don’t quite understand what you mean. What files are you referring to exactly?
Indeed, a bundled revolution slider is provided with the theme
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-install-revolution-slider-v5/
Also some demo sliders used in demos, which can be imported
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos/
Both the tagDiv composer and WPBakery page builder have a dedicated revolution slider element to place in pages
– https://www.screencast.com/t/hUWD1c2fY
Updates for the revolution slider are provided by us when the theme is updated and when available. You don’t have to register or activate the revolution slider plugin, it is a bundled version not a premium purchased version.
Thanks
Hi,
Are you sure that plugin is causing the problem? I have installed it, there are no problems with it from what I can tell.
Does the same happens if you leave only theme plugins and WP user avatar active?
Hi,
Caching could prevent the counter from displaying accurate values. Clear it periodically if that happens, manually or set it to clear automatically. You could set a timeout before the cache is automatically cleared
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2QGTDvOOU
Thanks
@be2name I tested first with a cloud template, in wordpress the older setting is selected
– https://www.screencast.com/t/oO42Q2QC
Cloud template not working – https://www.screencast.com/t/LgkN6kklghk6
Default template – https://www.screencast.com/t/scFZgP34r
So with a default template it seems to work, as far as I can see.
As for the Disqus comments in cloud post templates, I have already added it on our list, so it will be considered in the future.
