Hi,

That would require modifications to the cloud library plugin, more exactly here

Thanks

Hi,

@daveml75
I am afraid there is no progress in this matter on our side. There have been modifications and some additions to the plugin but not for the comments. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi,

If you just entered them and the ads are blank that could could mean that the website is not yet fully approved by Google, so it could resolve itself after a while

Hi,

Did it happen for all the posts at once? Maybe you changed the post URL, that would reset the likes. Or you implemented https, that will also reset the likes.

Other than that I don’t know what could be the cause. The button used is this one
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-button/

Hi,

1. No, the regeneration is used for older content. Images you upload since the theme has been activated will automatically be used for thumbnails.

I believe the force regenerate plugin will remove older thumbs which are not needed anymore, keep only what is required. All the images are kept in the wordpress media library by default.

2. That would be the lazy loading, images not in view will not be loaded. Once you scroll to them they will be visible
https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-loading-image-effects/
This setting can be disabled if needed, in the theme panel.

3. Such CSS codes can be entered in the theme panel, custom code section

Seems I forgot to mention it above, sorry.

Thanks

Hi,

There were some issues with version 9.0 last week, in 9.0.1 these were fixed however. In 8.8.2 there were no problems with the text elements.

All that is required with the HTML widget, is that you enter code in it and it should be rendered
https://www.screencast.com/t/0Xdwy21v
No save button needed, the code once entered it will save once the page is saved. Maybe it is something specific to the code you are using. Does the same happen if you enter some normal text?

Thanks

Hi,

That would be this transition in the theme stylesheet
https://www.screencast.com/t/KpT11mNv
It is set to half a second, modify it if needed.

Hi,

I know how to do it with WPML, with Polylang did not exactly try it. Check in the string translation settings of the plugin, there should be a footer page field. This is how it’s done with WPML
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/using-with-wpml/

Hi,

It may look like a block, but it’s not actually a block. That section will appear in the bottom of the page if the latest articles page template is selected
https://www.screencast.com/t/PZtt1vl2gU
If you don’t want it there, select a different page template, like the default one for example.

Hi,

I don’t quite understand what you mean exactly. That “Must read” looks like a block, which would be in no relation to the reviews, except being in the same sidebar from what I can see.
If it displays “No posts” then I suggest that you check it’s filtering and sorting settings, it might have no posts to display due to incorrect settings.

Hi,

If the plugin has an implementation available for AMP pages it could work. Don’t know if that is possible with that plugin, you could check it’s documentation for more information. The plugin would have to be compatible with AMP.

Hi

The images will be cropped, a center top cropping to be more exact. That would be the best method overall. Each module will use a cropped thumbnail of a predefined size. Some images look better, it all depends on original image
https://www.screencast.com/t/730fARYXU0

That particular module has a narrower thumbnail as it can be seen, so best you try other blocks in this case. You can see them all here
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/

You could also use a flex block, that has multiple settings. Try to experiment with it as well.

Hi,

Check in the page source, what description is displayed there
https://www.screencast.com/t/8uBToXbwpxq
https://www.screencast.com/t/ez2WhkeLYNH0
The description you set for the page in the Yoast settings should be displayed in the page source.
You can also specify a description for pages in general, in Yoast settings
https://www.screencast.com/t/uscZMQqP
If the desired description is in the page source, then it should eventually be picked up by Google.

Hi,

That is quite slow. Did you make any optimizations so far? Check if there are any errors in the browser inspector console to begin with. There could be some leads to the problem there.
I could take a look if you can provide a link to the website.

Hi,

Maybe that could be done with a condition in the header style template, you could do it in a child theme. Something like this for example would work
https://www.screencast.com/t/FKFhhEMskitH
That would display an image from the media library in certain post pages and pages (with that condition).

Hi,

A template created by you specifically for the smart lists posts should be used, like mentioned in this topic
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/smart-list-block-see-the-entire-list/
The post content should contain only the smart list, that would be how it works currently. Maybe this will change in the future.

Hi,

The primary category setting will not affect the tags displayed in the post page. Here you can see what will be affected by the primary category setting
https://forum.tagdiv.com/primary-category/

There is a setting that will hide the category tag in single posts and category pages (the setting is per category), but that is a general setting
https://www.screencast.com/t/Erk0NBYU

A setting for what you want to do does not exist, it would be like choosing which categories to display there. In the post page all the categories of the post are shown, unless they are hidden with the general setting.

Maybe the cloud templates will get such a setting for the single post categories element, in the future. Now there is only an order selection and limit
https://www.screencast.com/t/betdQ7qRj

Hi,

That would happen if both WPBakery and tagDiv composer are active. Single images will be affected by both of them, so they will most likely not display or work properly. The functionality of the single image element is different in the page builders.

Deactivate the tagDiv composer if you use WPBakery, that would be the solution. Then the single image will display as it should.

Hi,

It would say if already exist if there already is a Newspaper theme in the WordPress themes folder. The update guide specifies all the required steps depending on update method
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
The update should not cause any problems now, there were a few issues but they are fixed now. Re-download the theme if you downloaded just after the update was released, then install it.

The old theme has to be replaced with the new one. If you made modifications to the theme files directly they will be lost as the old theme gets replaced.

Hi,

That message will appear if no menu is selected. The theme provides an empty template which will provide an empty page, useful if you do not want to display a header and footer sections in landing pages for example
https://www.screencast.com/t/TEjmNNcKeo0i
You could use that template fro the landing page.

Hi,

Maybe this is a misunderstanding. What padding do you want to modify exactly? AS Bogdan mentioned the rows have settings to stretch them for a wider layout. That is applicable in page and posts, with the tagDiv composer and cloud library plugin.

If this is not what you wanted to now, some more precise details would be most helpful, also some screenshots if possible (the website is is maintenance at the moment).
Depending on what exactly you want to do, CSS might be a solution.

Hi,

I could take a look, please provide a link to your website so I can inspect it on mobile. Seems to point to the tagDiv composer, are you using the latest theme and plugins?

Thanks

Hi,

So you want something for the tags in the post page, this should work
https://www.screencast.com/t/uAxqKOtA0

.single .td-category a {
border-radius:5px;
}

Hi,

So the theme panel is not saving the settings?
https://www.screencast.com/t/E60JQ778v
Or it does save but the settings you made are not appearing in the front-end? If the later is happening, could be caching.Try to clear the cache and check again. Also force refresh the page in which you are checking (Ctrl+Shift+R).

Hi,

First you create/import a cloud post template, remove the post content element from it and place a smart list element
https://www.screencast.com/t/k0eAvX5hbk
Once you apply that post template to a post (post must contain a smart list) the post will display the smart list. That would be all the steps.

So a smart list post should contain only the smart list in the content, the post content element has to be removed and a smart list element placed in the template.
