Hi,

I have inspected the issue, it seems that the click entered in the search input field is detected as being outside of the area. Just like clicking anywhere on the page. The result is that the search will disappear. There are javascript errors each time the search is clicked
https://www.screencast.com/t/b4fFWoNm
You could try different plugins, the current one seems to cause errors. I cannot say what needs to be done in this case. The core of the search is based on WordPress, the theme ads design and that is conflicting with the plugin you are using.

Thanks

Hi,

You can include posts in the Featured category
https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
Then choose the Featured category in the slide filter settings, and sort by Latest
https://www.screencast.com/t/cjaN2O4V
In this situation the slide will display the latest posts added to the Featured category. A limit of posts can be set as well as an autoplay interval
https://www.screencast.com/t/XouPGmR1
So now the slide will display for example 5 latest posts from the chosen category, changing every 5 seconds.

The excerpt in this case should be set to letters, maybe choose the same value for all modules. The post titles will not be the same for all posts, experiment with different values for the blocks you use, until you find a perfect solution.

Regarding the cache configuration there is a guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Some settings might have changed, but most are the same
https://www.screencast.com/t/viT3UUna
We will update the tutorial as soon as possible, taking in account the changes in the cache plugins panels.

The front page will be used to display the posts, you will not be needing that option to use a different page. The “Blog pages show at most” setting controls the number of posts in the Latest articles section (if there is no value set manually – https://www.screencast.com/t/3Io9tIeZhU2), and on category pages loop
https://www.screencast.com/t/VN0sogW6LNS
https://www.screencast.com/t/W8vNqqmA1RFs

A sidebar can be set or removed for each category, in the Per category settings. The actual sidebar content can be customized in Appearance->Widgets
https://www.screencast.com/t/DatBdFk8j

There could be such plugins, but we cannot make any recommendations. You can search for and try out a few plugins that have options like this. The post can be shared but manually, not automatically
https://forum.tagdiv.com/sharing/

Please let us know if you have further questions, we will try to help you as soon as possible.

Hi,

Please provide a link to your website where the issue is happening, if possible. This can most likely be fixed with a simple code.

Hi,

It would be helpful if you could provide a link pointing to the issue if possible, for a more accurate solution. It could be a simple CSS issue.

Hi,

You could remove some of the columns displayed, so there will be more available space for the titles. Check the screen options and remove unnecessary columns

Hi,

That can be done by modifying the post template files only. There is no theme option to move the sharing below the featured image. I have provided a solution in this topic
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/share-butons-at-post-page/
The result in that example is that the sharing is below the image, in post template 2. The modifications will have to be made for each post template you want.

Hi,

Maybe you made a mistake in your modifications, that is why the search is causing errors like that. You could revert the changes and return the search functionality, then test on a local environment and modify the default search. The theme uses the default WordPress search functionality, you could take a look at these guides
http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-google-search-in-a-wordpress-site/

Hi,

That could happen if you use a wrong combination of colors for the menu. Please check the current color settings regarding the header menu
https://www.screencast.com/t/myoK4yzDEMJ
A footer background image can be set here
https://www.screencast.com/t/qlxobBADsPkt
If there is still a problem in any of the matters, provide a link to your website so we can inspect the issue.

Hi,

If you deleted your featured category you can recreate it using this default name and slug like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/DDj2ylQVMfFr
Then the featured category will be the same as before.

Hi,

The mobile theme plugin is sensitive and can be influenced by other plugins and especially caching. The WP Super Cache is recommended to be used if possible
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Please try as suggested and deactivate every plugin except theme plugins. Leave only theme plugins active. Then try and activate the mobile theme plugin again. It should work, then enable your plugins.
The mobile plugin is optional, if it is conflicting with something you could simply not use it. There will be no problem, as the main theme is perfectly capable to display the website on all devices. The theme is fully responsive, mobile theme plugin is not required.

Hi,

If a smart list is used in the post content, the article ads will not be displayed. That is the functionality at the moment. This might change in a future update, but I cannot say for sure. You could use the smart list templates that allow ads to be placed inside their content, from the theme panel ad spots
https://www.screencast.com/t/c52blDInC
Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Hi,

Posts should begin to show up, as they are getting popular(more views). The count will begin the moment the sorting option is activated in the theme panel. It will require post views to be active as well – https://www.screencast.com/t/QGeZTFeW
As it is mentioned in the guide, this sorting method can be influenced by caching
https://forum.tagdiv.com/7-days-post-sorting/

Hi,

@rpats
If there is no ad code in the theme panel ads section, no ad will be displayed. Or you might have entered the ad code though a different implementation, or maybe a plugin. The footer supports only one ad, in the footer top.
Please provide a link to your website so we can inspect the issue, maybe we can identify where exactly the ads are originating.

Hi,

The category pages can have only one sidebar set. That sidebar can contain anything you want. There is no limit to how many sidebars you create and use. You could simply create a new sidebar with the content from both those sidebars if that is what you want, and assign it to the category you want in the Per category settings
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-category-settings-work/
But if you want to have a left sidebar and also a right sidebar in the category page, that is not possible. There can be only one sidebar, left or right. Category pages cannot be customized outside the theme panel, at the moment.

Hi,

I could not say what that error means. If you used Yoast SEO to customize the sitemap, make sure it is set properly and test again. Some useful resources here

Hi,

There should not be any problem using the author box. I have tested this element and it works properly. It displays information from the user profile screen
https://www.screencast.com/t/9a206oAQ1
https://www.screencast.com/t/QO6I2YA5Et
You can enter any user ID and it will display their information. Check if the avatars are enabled in the WordPress settings
https://www.screencast.com/t/J7iDBNgq
If you have set it accordingly and it is not working, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information so we can take a look. Also paste a link to this topic in your email.

Hi,

Leave that code for desktop and enter this one in Theme panel->Advanced CSS in the phones section – https://www.screencast.com/t/VDf0vC11mp

.single.woocommerce #tab-description ul .product {
margin-left: 5px!important;
}

Hi,

First please check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned din this guide, if necessary
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
You could ask the hosting provider to make them for you, as they might have a recommended method in this matter. Then check if the issue is still present. Additional deactivate all plugins except theme plugins if you have any other plugins installed, and check again.
If the issue is still occurring it could be related to PHP version, the theme is tested with versions up to 7.1 only. You could contact your hosting and ask them if possible to lower the PHP version accordingly.
Please let us know the results.

Thanks

Hi,

@pankaj221
You can create pages using the elements you like. There are text elements that you can use as well if you want to write content on pages
https://www.screencast.com/t/eIJDM7Ief2
On pages you can use text elements, blocks, grids etc. These are all the available blocks and grids

Hi,

That is an author box, you can place that on any page you like using the tagDiv composer
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
In the tutorial video you can find out more information. You simply place the element on the page and configure and style it as you like

Hi,

You could insert the shortcode when creating the actual post, manually. The theme does not have such conditions. The post content will be displayed exactly how you have created it in the post creation and editing screen. There are predefined post templates that contain the post structure. These are the post template files in the theme

Hi,

It seems you have managed to create and set a header ad for the website at the moment
https://www.screencast.com/t/zs5MThb6R
Also it links to a set URL and opens in a new tab. Please note that this banner will display on mobile, when the mobile theme is not active
https://www.screencast.com/t/u1xc9Uve
If the mobile theme plugin is active, a header ad code has to be inserted in the mobile theme ad sections of the theme panel
https://www.screencast.com/t/dBKQiua9Mh
More information about the mobile theme plugin and how it works, in this guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Please note that the mobile theme is not required, you can chose not to install it. The main theme is fully responsive and will adapt the website for every device.

Thanks
