Hi,
The Visual composer plugin is included in the theme package. You do not have to activate this plugin. Please disregard any activation messages, Visual composer can be used without any problems
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Thanks
Hi,
The mobile theme plugin may not work properly in that situation. If everything works perfectly on desktop, maybe it would be better to simply deactivate the mobile plugin. This plugin is optional, and the main theme is fully capable to display the best results on mobile devices due to it’s responsive design.
Thanks
Hi,
You could try a code like this, to align the ad to the left in the post content
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ih9CxpF3nyR
.td-g-rec-id-content_top {
float: left;
}
Thanks
Hi,
It doesn’t seem to be happening anymore, from what I can see on the page. It was supposed to happen above 1019px
– https://www.screencast.com/t/My7OgL39Z
The theme already has conditions like you mention for the blocks elements
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Q15rlpFDgHbl
– https://www.screencast.com/t/PrWVcv92Mzo
There should be no such problem with how the module thumbnail or meta display in any layout settings. Please check again, the issue is not happening anymore. Check if you have custom code in the theme panel related to the block or module, or if you use a child theme. This should not happen, but it can be caused by custom code.
Thanks
Hi,
The scroll to top is hidden by default in that situation, there is a condition in the theme code. This code I provided will simply override that condition and display the scroll icon. There is no relation to AMP, if that is what you mean.
Thanks
Hi,
That may not be an easy task. This is where the numbered pagination is defined
– https://www.screencast.com/t/m6HXHTZ18Ol
You could try to modify the values in the code, maybe you could achieve what you want.
Thanks
Hi,
I don’t think there is any other way. If you would like to remove the sidebar section from the post section, you will have to edit the mentioned file and comment or remove the code as shown in the topic.
Thanks
Hi,
The theme can be installed and activated on a test domain, for testing purposes. After you are done testing, the registration key can be reset and then the theme can be activated on the main domain.
Thanks
Hi,
Please go to your plugins section, and deactivate the tagDiv composer. This new editor will be activated by default when the theme is updated or installed.
After deactivating it, everything should be displayed like before. In some cases, having both Visual composer and tagDiv composer active can cause issues for some elements.
Thanks
Hi,
You can use the browser inspector to identify the elements used on the page and their classes. This is a very powerful tool for website inspection and also live customization. This is an useful guide about it
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
For example if you would like to hide the ad on a particular post page, you could do it like this (using the unique post ID, or page ID)
Thanks
Hi,
I have inspected the website on mobile, but it seems the images in the post page cannot be clicked entirely. Clicking on the images does not do anything. I believe you were successful in achieving the desired result.
Thanks
Hi,
For the post page these are the sharing options available at the moment
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/sharing/
Instagram accounts can be used in the Instagram widget like this
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/instagram-widget/
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/instagram-widget/
If you would like to have Instagram sharing options for posts, you could search for a plugin that has this option, the theme does not have this at the moment.
Thanks
Hi,
If you deactivated all plugins except theme plugins, then it may not be a plugin conflict. Also check any custom code you might have entered in the theme panel, or modification made directly to the theme files. Deactivate any child theme you might be using as well.
The 404 error could mean that there are no permissions to access the item, and the serve is refusing action.
You could check if everything is in order in this regard

Thanks
Hi,
There should be no problems in accessing and saving theme panel settings, from the theme perspective. The theme has these requiremenets
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
These along with the guide provided previously should provide proper functionality.
I suggest you try a fresh theme install by FTP
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Use only theme plugins, deactivate all other plugins. Do not enter any custom code in the theme panel, or in the theme files. Deactivate any child theme you might be using.
Then heck if the issue is still present.
Thanks
Hi,
I found this guide with useful information
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-password-protect-your-wordpress-admin-wp-admin-directory/
The theme uses the admin ajax file, use the example in the guide to allow access to this file.
Thanks
Hi,
I have tested the text with title element, there is no issue with saving when parenthesis are entered in the content
– https://www.screencast.com/t/yw8HsOyKcPV
– https://www.screencast.com/t/1VDnldWUT
Please check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
These parameters will ensure the proper functionality of the theme and plugins.
Then check if the problem remains.
Thanks
Hi,
Maybe you are referring to the buttons shortcode. The button implementation has changed, please see this tutorial
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/increase-users-engagement-add-custom-buttons-posts/
If this is not what you meant, please provide more details or some useful screenshots if possible, for a better understanding.
Thanks
Hi,
Sorry for misunderstanding. That block (block 15) has some custom styling applied to it, specific to the Business demo. That styling can be seen by examining the demo stylesheet
– https://www.screencast.com/t/GmTLjZVolh
If you would like the same styling for the block without installing this particular demo, you can use the custom styling from the demo stylesheet.
Thanks
Hi,
Both elements are displaying the same source image, this one
– http://thecarindia.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/formula-e-race-car.jpg
There does not seem to be any CSS on the images that would affect image quality. The difference might come from the implementation of the image.
The Visual composer element is setting the image as a background
– https://www.screencast.com/t/MSMbGyh1Z
While the theme creates thumbnails from the featured image
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
I believe that is why there is a difference between the images, they are implemented differently in the grid versus block.
Thanks
Hi,
Yes that seems to be the case. Block titles are using h4 and article titles are using h3. There is no option in the theme at the moment to allow you to change the headings for these elements. It would require modification to the theme files to modify them.
Thanks
Hi,
Maybe this guide will prove to be of some help
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/ultimate-guide-to-using-mailchimp-and-wordpress/
Thanks
Hi,
The theme login can be disabled if that is what is needed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/login-how-to-enable-user-registration/
If the theme login is disabled the login or registration will be done via the WordPress default interface.
Thanks
Hi,
Some modules do not display the author name. In this case, if you would like to display then author name for block 7, it would require a modification to the module that this block uses.
Edit this file from the theme and remove the comment disabling the author name
– https://www.screencast.com/t/atPdwYB8e
The author name will be visible for this module, after making this modification.
Thanks
Hi,
If the device screen width you are viewing it on is smaller, there is simply no available space to display the sub-footer content on one line.
Anything smaller than this would make the text display on a second and third line
– https://www.screencast.com/t/dNacPyeA
Please correct me if I misunderstand.
Thanks
Hi,
That probably means that the theme has not installed or updated properly. That option should be available for the article inline ad. A theme reinstall should fix the issue

This is a similar topic
