Hi,

Please read the guide carefully. The mobile version of pages will not be the same as the desktop version. So while the desktop page can be built with the composer, and contain blocks, grids etc. the mobile version is limited to the mobile editor
http://prntscr.com/o8vbaq

If a page contains no content in the mobile editor, on phones it will be empty when the mobile theme is active. Please edit the pages and enter content in the mobile editor, this will appear on phones.

I should note that in coming updates there will be more options added for the mobile theme, like for example the option to disable it for specific pages and many others.

Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Hi,

We provide updates for WPBakery when the theme is updated
https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/213762463-Bundled-Plugins
So the next theme version will contain the latest version of the plugin at the time.

Currently there are some issues with WPBakery 6.0.3 if used with the 9.7.3 theme version, we are investigating these as we speak so we can fix them for the next theme update.

For the time being please keep using WPBakery 6.0.2 which works fine with the current theme. Let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks

Hi,

What you set in the theme panel will apply regardless of language. The theme panel settings are not per language if that is what you mean.
You can create pages in both languages, when the language is changed the page will change.

In case of the footer page, and using WPML for example, the footer page field containing the ID can be translated like so – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/translation-of-footer-pager-does-not-work/

I should note that cloud templates can’t be applied per language at the moment. let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks

Seems I missed it, sorry about that. I suggest that you try something like this, remove the previous code and enter this one in the mobile theme custom CSS section
http://prntscr.com/odi5gt
Then there should be no more search on mobile theme and AMP – http://prntscr.com/odi94x
http://prntscr.com/odi9a9

.td-search-icon {
display: none;
}

Let me know.

Hi,

We are aware of the fact that the mobile theme plugin may not work properly with various caching plugins or implementations. Based on user feedback there might be problems like the mobile theme being displayed on desktop in some cases, caused by caching.

We recommend the WP super cache with these settings
https://tagdiv.com/wp-super-cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
This is tested by us and working fine. Up to this point we haven’t made any testing in the matter.

Please try if possible to use this caching plugin as it will work fine with the mobile theme.
If that is not possible, maybe try and enable the mobile caching in the rocket plugin
https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/140-wrong-display-mobile-tablet-desktop
https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/708-mobile-caching
But I can’t say if that will work or not unfortunately.

Thanks

I see it, that date is incorrect, while the correct date is present in the source page of the post – http://prntscr.com/odhtct
I searched for more on the issue online, but still haven’t found what could possibly be the cause for this to happen.

Hi,

I believe there is something wrong with how the header is built. Please edit the cloud header template and click on the header menu element, check if it is entered in the header zone not the content zone.
Correct – http://prntscr.com/odhmey
Incorrect – http://prntscr.com/odhmrb

If it’s in the content zone, drag and drop it in the header zone. Then save and check if the issue is solved.
In case it remains, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login so we can take a closer look at that header. Let us know.

Thanks

Hi,

It is possible, but it depends on what you want to do exactly. Please provide some examples or details about what you would like to and I will help you. Let me know.

Hi,

There is a quick fix in this topic if you want to try it before the theme update is released – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/sign-in-join-not-showing-up-on-mobile-view-not-using-mobile-theme/

You won’t have to do it again after the update is available, as it will be fixed permanently. Sorry again for the inconvenience. Let us know if you have more questions.

Thanks

I tried it as well, for example – http://prntscr.com/odgwxchttp://prntscr.com/odgx7v\
Be sure to save the page and view it – http://prntscr.com/odgxgd
Or save and refresh to see it in the composer – http://prntscr.com/odgxs1

Should work the same for you. If there is a problem and you want us to take a closer look, send us admin login at contact@tagdiv.com and we will investigate. Let us know.

I have added this on our to do list, but I can’t say when we will get to it however.
I forgot to check on mobile, it is the same issue there. So please enter this code as well

.td-header-mobile-wrap .tdb_mobile_horiz_menu:nth-child(3),
.tdb_mobile_horiz_menu .sub-menu {
z-index: 998!important;
}

You can keep these codes in the theme panel for the time being, they won’t cause any problems. Let me know if they work correctly as in my tests – http://prntscr.com/odgr5k
Sorry for this inconvenience.

Hi,

So you would like an image before each category in a mega-menu with sub-categories
http://prntscr.com/odgc2m
By default this is not possible, currently there isn’t any option to allow this. The website you mention uses a single image that contains all the logos as background, then positions the background so that the icon matches the team
https://a.espncdn.com/i/teamlogos/nba/sprites/teams-nba-25.png
Maybe it could be done with some CSS, something like this – http://prntscr.com/odgepc if you should consider it I will try to help you with it.

The thumbnail sizes will be the same in both the mega-menu types. For the “Rejser” menu item simply create a mega-menu without sub-categories. It will look exactly as the in the theme demo.

Let me know.
Thanks

Hi,

The theme provides 2 types of mega-menu, with or without sub-categories. Here is a guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/
You can check them out in the live demo – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/

The “Fashion” menu item is a mega-menu with sub-categories, and the “Gadgets” menu item is a mega-menu without sub-categories. Both display a module with thumbnail.

If there is a problem when creating these types of menu, or they don’t display properly, please post a link to the website so I can take a look. Let me know.

Thanks

Hi,

I see you are using a cloud header template. This means that you can choose what the desktop header version displays and what the mobile version displays.

In this case I see that the header menu element appears in both desktop and mobile. Please edit the header with the tagDiv composer and select the mobile viewport
http://prntscr.com/od4fnd
Now you can edit the mobile version of the cloud header. Remove that header menu if you don’t want it on mobile. Leave it only on desktop – http://prntscr.com/od4gft

Also be sure to customize the sticky version for both desktop and mobile
http://prntscr.com/od4hk4
Activate the sticky mode on desktop or mobile and add elements in them
http://prntscr.com/od4i7g
If you do not want a sticky version, remove all elements from sticky mode
http://prntscr.com/od4isu

Please let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Glad it worked. In the tagDiv composer you can use the woocommerce shortcodes inside column text elements – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/
We haven’t added up to this point actual elements specifically for woocommerce, but shortcodes will work fine.

There are similar topics in the forum you could check out, for example

Also please let me know if you have more questions.

Hi,

What tags would you like to add exactly? For SEO management we recommend the Yoast SEO plugin, this will add the necessary meta for the website

If you have more questions let me know.

That is loaded in this file, you can remove the whole script – http://prntscr.com/od3sn6

Hi,

I tried connecting to the website as you mention but it doesn’t seem to work, maybe I am doing it wrong – http://prntscr.com/od3omz

That effect may seem visible if the website loads slowly. First the default style or design is loaded, then the theme panel settings will be loaded. This isn’t noticeable if the website loads fast. Do you use any minification plugins maybe, or render blocking plugins? What about caching?

Thanks

Hi,

So the tagDiv composer is active. There is something else you can check. In the WPBakery settings->role manager – http://prntscr.com/od1tva check if the setting is set to all
http://prntscr.com/od1uf5 for administrator. Or set the setting to custom and select all then hit save – http://prntscr.com/od1uyehttp://prntscr.com/od1v6a

If the problem remains, we could take a closer look at it. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thanks

From what I can see the plugin already uses an archive page called “Events” so creating a page with the same name may lead to problems – http://prntscr.com/od1pge
This is the page in my case – http://prntscr.com/od1mgu

Other than this the plugin seems to work fine, when I test it. Those notices shouldn’t cause problems, if there are errors there may be a problem.

Hi,

I have inspected the website, I see an AMP validation error – http://prntscr.com/od1h1w
Usually this happens when an invalid AMP auto ads code is entered in the theme panel dedicated section for auto ads – http://prntscr.com/od1hsg

If you have entered code there, please be sure that it is of this form only
http://prntscr.com/od1ieo
No need to do anything else just enter the ad code there. The header script that is mentioned in the AMP documentation and has to be entered in the header will be loaded automatically by the theme – http://prntscr.com/od1k16

Then there should not be any errors and ads will begin to appear after a while. Let us know.

Thanks

Hi,

I see the problem, it happens because there isn’t CSS in the theme for this case it seems. I could give you a code that will provide the same link underline in these pages as well, enter it in the theme panel custom CSS section and it should work fine
http://prntscr.com/od05o3

.archive .td-ss-main-content a:hover {
text-decoration: underline;
}

Thanks

Hi,

This issue will be fixed in the coming theme update. The temporary fix is to enter this code in the theme panel custom CSS section

.td-mobile-content .td-icon-menu-right {
display: inline-block;
}

Then the drop-down arrow will appear – http://prntscr.com/oczz2z
Sorry for the inconvenience, please let us know if you have more questions.

Thanks

Hi,

Currently as far as I know there aren’t any plans to implement such a functionality. The blocks will have the sorting you set in it their settings while editing the page. Visitors can use the pagination to cycle through posts. Numbered pagination isn’t available for blocks or as an element that can be placed in a page.
You could maybe sort the block by oldest, so it displays old post first. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks
