Hi,

Those are the recommended values in order for the theme to work properly in all situations. The guide explains in detail what are the steps to take and which are the files where the changes have to be made. You could ask your hosting provider to do them for you, or help you with this.
I don’t fully understand what you mean by control panel is off. There is only the theme panel, that cannot be turned off.
If you have followed the guide and the theme panel is still not saving your settings, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information, so we can take a look.

Thanks

Hi,

I have tried to replicate this issue using an exact layout as you have, but in my case everything works properly in this situation. The problem seems to happen only on the first two blocks. I don’t see anything wrong in the blocks structure. Maybe you are using some custom Css or code that could be causing the problem.
Also a plugin could interfere. The link on the modules seems to be not clickable, although it is present, but only for the first two blocks.

Thanks

Hi,

The head tags are found in the header.php file located in the main theme folder
https://www.screencast.com/t/2i5dTKKzs
Try entering the meta you need there.

Hi,

You just have to enter the author Id in the required field of the author box element. Each author has an Id number assigned. There are multiple ways in which you can find the Id. For more information please follow this topic
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/author-box-5/

Hi,

It should work the same as before. I believe nothing has changed in Visual composer in the column settings. If you are using Visual composer for your pages, try deactivating the tagDiv composer from the plugins section. In some cases there is some interference when both editors are active.

Thanks

Hi,

So I am assuming that the post template settings are not displaying in the post edit screen. Maybe they are not enabled in the screen options
https://www.screencast.com/t/24LVW8bcOXj
Then the settings should appear in the post edit screen
https://www.screencast.com/t/vOCQjJIIhv
If this is not the case, it could also be a plugin that is causing the problem. You could try to deactivate all of them except the ones provided in the theme package, and clear any caching installed. Then check if the options are available.

Hi,

Maybe these topics will provide some useful information in this matter

Hi,

If you deactivated and deleted that plugin, I believe the default login should work
http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-find-your-wordpress-login-url/
Try clearing any caching installed, and re-save the permalinks from Settings->Permalinks.

Hi,

The tagDiv composer is not available for posts, only for the creation of pages. Also the elements you mention are not present at the moment in this editor. More options and items will be added in future updates
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
You can choose from the available post templates and create unique post formats
https://forum.tagdiv.com/post-templates-2/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/post-formats-for-tinymce/
You could use a do_shortcode to insert a page building element in the post template file that you are using. Multiple related topics are available here on the forum. Like these topics for example

Hi,

I see that your website is RTL, please note that theme theme does not support this direction. Applying this style to the theme, or modifications to the theme in this matter can cause problems like this one.
As a quick fix for this issue you can try this code. Enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css

#td-mobile-nav {
position: fixed;
}

But other problems could appear with other theme elements, because the theme is not optimized or designed with RTL in mind. Some of the theme aspects are directly dependent on direction, and may not function properly in this case.

Hi,

There are no plans to modify the mega-menu functionality, at the moment. I have not heard of mega-menus like the theme is using causing SEO issues for websites, or having a negative impact in this matter.

Hi,

The speed booster plugin is provided in the theme package. It can be installed like a normal plugin
https://www.screencast.com/t/Y0VwAjW8lz0S
Or you can unzip the plugin and upload it manually by FTP in the plugins folder, in your wordpress install. Then go to the plugins section and activate it.

Hi,

Please modify all the parameters to have the recommended values. This should solve the saving issue.
In some cases when both Visual composer and tagDiv composer are active, there could be some interference between them. You could disable the tagDiv editor and everything should display like before. If you have that many pages created in Visual composer, you could keep using it further.

Hi,

There seems to be some 404 errors in getting some tagDiv composer files
https://www.screencast.com/t/qO1RfIzwaw
You could try to uninstall the composer, clear any caching installed and install it again. Also deactivate all your other plugins except the editor and check to see if the errors are still present. It could also be your caching system and configuration.

Hi,

Those grid items have the float left property set on them
https://www.screencast.com/t/QUkXWM9Pad
After inspecting the page it seems that the font size for the excerpts is causing this issue
https://www.screencast.com/t/FyrdBquCMTp
https://www.screencast.com/t/OmT39C4o
Maybe you could check all your custom code and identify why exactly is the font size modification breaking the layout.

Hi,

Please note that the tagDiv composer will be much improved over future updates, and more options and elements will be added to it.
If settings are not saving properly, please check the theme system status, and make modifications if needed to the parameters mentioned in this guide

Hi,

Please corrected me if I misunderstand. The image used and set as featured image seems to have originally this size
https://www.screencast.com/t/uepcEPzsnS9h
This size is not even the minimum size required for the theme to create the smaller thumbnail for the default post template
https://www.screencast.com/t/LPeoCDIP
You can try as a test to set a bigger image as featured, and the try what you want to do. This will work properly.

Hi,

You could place the contact form shortcode in a text element using tagDiv composer
https://www.screencast.com/t/1bSSVuTw69i
https://www.screencast.com/t/EnsyKb5ZTfNE
And it will be displayed on the page

Hi,

You can use the theme on a sub-domain for testing purposes. There will be no problem in this case.

Hi,

The theme uses the image uploaded through the theme panel as background
https://www.screencast.com/t/Y50YK2vm
This background image is overridden by the category background, or post styles that use a featured image as background
https://www.screencast.com/t/mtg5Fg6650

Hi,

The theme does not have a problem creating and using any sidebar, and place it wherever you want. In almost all cases plugins or modifications to the theme by any means, are causing issues.
I suggest you deactivate all your plugins except the ones provided in the theme package as a test, and clear any installed cache again if necessary. Then try to create and customize the sidebar.

Thanks
