Hi,

The settings from theme panel regarding custom post type and what each of them does, are better explained here

Hi,

When I click on the link you mention I am taken here

If you want to modify your website URL here you can find more useful information

Hi,

That should not happen just by creating and adding a simple smart list to your post. The smart list should not break the page layout. I suggest you check any custom code you might have entered in the theme panel, or added to the theme files. If you are using a child theme switch to the main theme.
Also deactivate all the plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching installed on your website and check to see if this has any effect.

Thanks

Hi,

This is where you could replace the icon for that social, like this example
https://www.screencast.com/t/bWZ0LSfSu
You need to use the URL for the icon you want, and enter it like shown in the screenshot. The icon will be displayed instead of the normal one. In my example I used a 16x16px icon, you could experiment with slightly larger icons, but take note that the icon or image will be displayed in full size

Hi,

Check the theme panel and see if you have the thumbnail sizes required for the gallery enabled. The images should not display like that, maybe something is interfering with the gallery. It would be very helpful if you could provide a link to this gallery so I can inspect it.
You could try to disable all your plugins except the ones bundled with the theme, clear any caching installed on your website, then check to see if this has any effect.

Thanks

Hi,

The theme can be downloaded only if you have the themeforest account. I believe the agency through which you bought the theme should provide you with the theme updates, when they are available. Maybe you should contact them and ask what you should do in this situation, they must have a procedure for theme updates.

Hi,

It seems to work for the other users. Try clearing any caching installed, maybe that is why the data is not refreshing. Or go through the mentioned steps again, to make sure you have made the modifications exactly as described in that topic.

Hi,

The icons used are font icons – https://www.screencast.com/t/GyLK8CMVnYoa
They are defined here – https://www.screencast.com/t/3uB7uv5rJ1w
And have font properties as you can check with the browser inspector

Hi,

Please provide a link to your website so we can inspect it. What you can try is to deactivate all your plugins except the ones provided with the theme, clear any caching installed, then check to see if this has any effect.

Hi,

Please provide more details or a useful screenshot describing what exactly you would like to modify about the header. Then I will be able to provide a more accurate answer.
You could use the browser inspector to create custom code that you can use in the theme panel
https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/

Hi,

That is a weird problem. I don’t know how the style file content could simply disappear. I have inspected your website and the theme stylesheet is empty. You could copy the style.css file from the theme package you downloaded, and replace the one in the main theme folder.
Or do a theme re-install using this method

Hi,

@marijnvdgruiter First please try to disable all your plugins except the tagDiv composer, clear any caching installed then try again. You could also try a fresh theme install using this method
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
There should be no reason for the composer to not work properly on a clean install uisng only the plugins bundles with the theme.
If you still cannot use the composer, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information so we can take a look. Also paste a link to this topic in the email.

Hi,

Please provide more details about what exactly you would like to change and how. The icon used for the socials is a font – https://www.screencast.com/t/QET8dlVqlah3

Hi,

At the moment that is how category pages and settings work in the theme. Like I said more options regarding this could be added in future theme updates. There are a lot of suggestions and recommendations on the list. It is not easy to decide what will be addressed as soon as possible and which ones are delayed. Most of them will be implemented in time, we will just have to wait and see.

Hi,

You could try disabling all your plugins except the ones provided in the theme package, clear any aching installed and try again. Maybe a plugin is causing this.
If you still cannot create a smart list for the posts, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide there admin login information so we can take a look. Also paste a link to this topic.
I will edit your reply and remove the login information. Please do not post this data here on the forum, the topic is public for everyone to see.

Hi,

I don’t know exactly how you have created that block. It does not seem to be one of the default blocks. The unique articles feature works properly using the default elements

Hi,

The footer is designed to have three sections, or three columns. Maybe you have made modifications to the default footer in order to achieve this result. That is not taken into account and may not work properly.

Hi,

That sorting option is not available in the Visual composer that comes provided in the thee package. It would not be easy to add a new sorting option besides the default ones. Please try and use the available post sorting options for the blocks and widgets.

Hi,

Please note that there could be some delay before the Adsense ads will be displayed on the website. This is according to Google
https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/76228?hl=en
Usually it takes 1-2 days as specified.

Hi,

The header ad will not be sticky like the menu. Only the header menu will become sticky when scrolling the page. There is no option for this at the moment in the theme, it will have to be made custom.

Hi,

Please check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if needed
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Then check if everything works as intended.
You can make some page building elements to be full width, by stretching the row they are placed in. For example the Full big grids
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/
Also you can make the header and footer full width in the theme panel. But to change the theme width overall is not recommended. The theme elements depend on the fixed theme container width and making modifications to it could cause broken layouts and other unexpected results.

Hi,

The theme automatically creates the needed thumbs that will be displayed on the modules, from the featured image you use. Each module has a different thumb size
https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
This is the cropping system the theme uses for the images
https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image/
However not all images will provide the best results on all the modules, it depends on the module or image used
https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/
If you are using a blog style website, that displays the latest posts, the module used for the articles can be changed in Theme panel->Template settings
https://www.screencast.com/t/9LajZfX8Y

Hi,

It could be done by making some modification to the modules that the Big grid 9 for example is using. You can identify the module used using the browser inspector
https://www.screencast.com/t/U3pPd0iHMR
Now you need to go and edit the respective modules in the theme files. The big module (mx19) already has the author name and date displayed and in it’s structure
https://www.screencast.com/t/8y38dz1bEg
The other module types used do not have it ( mx26 and mx25) so you could copy the code from the previous module in them as well
https://www.screencast.com/t/8XenDlgC
https://www.screencast.com/t/ec0vHyB4VDj1
Now the modules in the Big grid 9 should display the author name and date

Hi,

If you have been using Visual composer for the posts, problems like this could happen when the tagDiv composer is activated. You should leave it disabled for now, and use Visual composer.

Thanks
