Hi,
I have inspected some of your posts but I do not see any problems regarding the post content – https://www.screencast.com/t/uwvWZgoPTgX – https://www.screencast.com/t/DZS0YYkQpP – https://www.screencast.com/t/ool19s7h If you still have issues, maybe it is an intermittent issue and could be caused by a recently installed plugin. You can try to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear your cache and check again. However you should consider updating to the latest version of the theme and it’s plugins, even if it proves to be difficult as I see you have a lot of customization that you will have to check for compatibility, because some modifications may not work with the latest update.
Thanks
Hi,
The Visual composer editor plugin is required to be installed in order for your site to display properly, and have the possibility to create your pages using it’s features. Visual composer and other theme plugins are provided in the full theme package -https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/ and updated along with the theme updates. The editor also comes pre-activated with a licence (just ignore the activation messages), so you will only need to install it using this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ and use it according to this tutorial – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/ Also you can find all of the theme’s documentation here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/
Regarding the post image try center-aligning the image – https://www.screencast.com/t/OyLgj5fjC – https://www.screencast.com/t/yKoQ079Z or adding just a line of space above and below the image – https://www.screencast.com/t/HOvcrbm1

Hi,
Unfortunately the inline ad will be displayed after the number of paragraphs entered in theme panel. This is where it is defined – https://www.screencast.com/t/XavUwUmEZ and where the paragraph tag count is being done, so it will count the tags according to the number specified in theme panel and then display the inline ad, not all the paragraph tags and split them in half in order to display in the middle of the article. If you want to create a new function for the article inline ad you should consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment
Thank you for understanding
Hi,
Please make sure you have increased your system status parameters according to this tutorial – https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ If you have already done this and still have problems, try to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, check or remove any custom code you may have entered in theme panel or to the theme files and try again.
Thanks
Hi,
You can hide the logo on mobile using this code, just enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td-footer-logo {
display: none;
}}
And remove or change the footer text in Theme panel->Footer – https://www.screencast.com/t/eWBAtsgCJO and also you can change those items in the footer translations, in Theme panel->Translations – https://www.screencast.com/t/1MKQV1w6K
Thanks
Hi,
You can try the regenerate thumbnails plugin like in this tutorial, and see if it fixes your issue – https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/ As for the image gradient you can change the style on the big grids in their settings – https://www.screencast.com/t/JOVQJKSEc If you still have issues regarding the thumbs, try deactivating all your plugins except Visual composer, clear your cache and see if the problem is still there and if not, activate them one at a time to identify the one that could be causing this. Also please provide a link to your website so we can take a look if none of these suggestions work.
Thanks
Hi,
Try checking in Theme panel header ad section and see if a size is set for the header ad – https://www.screencast.com/t/zcubAOAeh5X limiting it, as I see that the banner ad image is of a larger size – https://www.screencast.com/t/XonOXG7Yu and it’s being limited to a smaller size –
Thanks
Hi,
If you use the <!--nextpage--> in your post content it should have the same pagination as your home page – https://www.screencast.com/t/XeosGejP4m4 – https://www.screencast.com/t/6hFoCobVkMK Please provide more details about what and how exactly you want to change regarding pagination with css, and I will try to help you.
Thanks
Hi,
Please provide your website link again because it is not correct, and we will take a look at this issue you are having.
Thanks
Hi,
@immamh77 The post format options should be on the right of the post edit section, just make sure it is checked in the screen options above – https://www.screencast.com/t/eOGsMkpwMJLj
@pato.du Replied in your own topic.
Thanks
Hi,
I see that you have Speed booster on your site, what that does is provide a speed boost by moving the loading of the resources like stylesheet and javascript files in the bottom of the page, while also using the compressed javascript file from the theme, so there could be some visible delays. You should try to optimize your site using the suggestions in this tutorial – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ or just disable the speed booster plugin.
Thanks
Hi,
You can not update Visual composer directly from the producer, updates for the Visual composer editor are provided along with the theme updates in the full theme package you have downloaded from Themeforest – https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/ and you can update it manually as explained here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ Just deactivate and delete the plugin, then upload and install the new version from the theme package, plugins folder. Also you do not need to worry about Visual composers’s update message because it is already activated as specified in the link provided above.
Thanks
Hi,
There is no theme setting to change the post content background if that is what you mean, so if you want to set a background color to the post content, it has to be custom. You have to identify the elements on the page using your browser inspector – https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/ and set a background color to them like in this example – https://www.screencast.com/t/UB8rYgCFP7 As for the post text color you can set it in Theme panel – https://www.screencast.com/t/XRynHaQu4zFG Please correct me if I misunderstood what you wanted.
Thanks
Hi,
If you mean show the date on post page, you can enable it in Theme panel – https://www.screencast.com/t/hL1VN2O9j69 or on blocks and modules – https://www.screencast.com/t/qM9rWAqM4 As for the size of blocks please provide more details about this to see if it is possible or not, because the blocks used by the theme are predefined and it would not be recommended or easy to change their size.
Thanks
Hi,
It seems there is a thumbnail problem on most of your blocks. If you are using a child theme try switching to the main theme to rule that out, if you have any custom code added in theme panel or the theme files please check that also. Then try regenerating your thumbnails using this tutorial here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/ After regenerating clear your cache (very important) and purge cdn files if you use it.
Thanks
Hi,
It seems you have some kind of content protector that is blocking the js and could cause this issues and more, like the search function on the menu, pagination on blocks and more – https://www.screencast.com/t/TniCsALXlj Try removing the plugin or code that is causing this and test again.
Also please create a new topic on the forum after the current issue is solved, so it would be easier to read the thread for other users and avoid confusions.
Thank you for understanding
Hi,
If you are talking about the Visual composer frontend option, unfortunately the theme does not work well with this feature so the developers decided to exclude this option from the theme. You could enable the frontend editor by removing this code from the theme td_wp_booster_functions.php file found in the theme folder->includes->wp_booster – https://www.screencast.com/t/Xp3wnzNx but it will not work properly if you have tagdiv blocks on your pages. If you want to use a frontend editor you can try the additional plugin TagDiv composer when it will be made available, as it is currently in development state.
Thanks
Hi,
You can create a sidebar for your pages in Visual composer using a split row layout like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/a2xmnpzmrRTw or by using a widgetised sidebar element – https://www.screencast.com/t/T35p6H1oc1h – https://www.screencast.com/t/omYXcxyN18 in which you can select a sidebar from your available ones and customize it in the widgets settings – https://www.screencast.com/t/aPLoOhQw0yQ
Thanks
Hi,
You could change the block title font properties on a specific block using css like in this example – https://www.screencast.com/t/CgTh0GJDi4O5 – https://www.screencast.com/t/VKaAfb1KO Or you could remove the title from the block and like in this example, add a raw html element above it in Visual composer – https://www.screencast.com/t/7L7H4PKTpmJ – https://www.screencast.com/t/Ayk5wZ4jj and using html recreate the title using a h1 tag and properties from a basic block title adapted to a h1 tag – https://www.screencast.com/t/0sw5RCGHo with this result – https://www.screencast.com/t/Fm5fOYvwYF
Thanks
Hi,
If you are not using the mobile theme plugin then the same content that you have on desktop will show on mobile using the theme’s responsiveness. When you activate the mobile theme plugin, on mobile it will display it’s own predefined template. You can find more information here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks
Hi,
Each block is different, and it contains a combination of modules which use different thumb sizes – https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/ Also here is more information about how the cropping of the feature images works – https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image/ In your case from what I can see when the post has a featured image set, the module gets smaller in size somehow when it should remain the same. Try to use your browser inspector and check the thumbnail size for a block and module where this happens – https://www.screencast.com/t/kOTSIpm6kN and compare it to what it should be in theme panel – https://www.screencast.com/t/PyZlIubvU Or if you could provide a link to your site we can take a look at this. In most of the cases any image or thumb related problem is caused by a plugin, so you could try also to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear your cache and see if it still happens.
Thanks
Hi,
You could set a background color on any row in your homepage, in Visual composer first you must stretch the row – https://www.screencast.com/t/xQz2aeli then set a background color in the design options tab- https://www.screencast.com/t/CVC3c5ixK9 with this result – https://www.screencast.com/t/ikG7H2thtte Or you could use your browser inspector tool to identify the elements, the classes used and create a custom code to change their properties – https://www.screencast.com/t/XPZ3PBn6u Here is a tutorial about the browser inspector – https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
Thanks
Hi,
@cmarenco Also make sure you have updated the required plugins along with the theme update – https://www.screencast.com/t/j3MaSQOsJemW from the full theme package you downloaded – https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/
Thanks
Hi,
I cannot replicate this problem you re having on my end. It would be helpful if you could provide a link to your website so we can inspect it and see the problem. You could use your browser inspector tool to see why this is happening – https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/ Also make sure you have updates all the required plugins to the latest version.
Thanks
Hi,
From what I can tell the font settings come from a different place then the theme’s css – https://www.screencast.com/t/KDdC2pzd6Zb and in the case of the h1 heading is set to a value in points – https://www.screencast.com/t/mXTbechYE overwriting the same settings. Most likely a plugin or conflict between plugins is causing this, I suggest as a test to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, make the changes you want to the post content headings font in the theme panel – https://www.screencast.com/t/cHOyPlx7 then clear your cache (very important) and also purge cdn files if you use it. Please try to follow all these steps because they will more likely fix this issue.
Thanks
