As you can see here on the Waterfall tab, the issue is coming from an image that is not loading: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/newsnama.in/XXUaM39V/ : https://www.screencast.com/t/Q4RIEfes Please check in Theme panel – Background – Mobile background and see if this image is set and remove or re-add it.

You will have to first start looking for a plugin conflict. please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

You need a get_image feature which Newspaper Theme does not have implemented. This comes once the SEO Yoast plugin is active. SEO Yoast is a SEO plugin with multiple features.

I’m not sure I fully understand. You can use tagDiv Composer only on post templates, not on post content. Latest Newspaper Theme version brings with it Latest version of WP Bakery. If you’re using the latest version on Newspaper theme you should have in the package the latest version of WP Bakery.

Just to make this clear.
“We have managed to recreate this and indeed this seems to be a bug. I have notified our developers to take a look at this as fast as possible. I will come back with a resolution on this as soon as the investigate.” This was my initial reply to your post. After talking to one of our developers I have done more testing and bellow you can clearly see the result.
Bellow is shown a test of exactly the steps that you let us know you took on.

I’m sorry if I made myself misunderstood, but how can this be a fault from Newspaper Theme if this happens when Newspaper Theme or the tagDiv plugins are not even installed ?

You will have to edit and have a template for each category. If you have 6 categories you will need to have 6 templates for each category as you can see in here: https://www.screencast.com/t/7kIJMMZ9ksit

That’s definitely NOT a practical solution for anyone using your Theme. Clearly, this is a problem with other Newspaper Theme users and not just me, yet nowhere do you mention this that Links to Images placed on a Page or Post DO NOT WORK.
I’m sorry that you are feeling this way, but please read my reply above. This has been tested on standard wordpress theme, with no plugins, and the result is the same. This is not Newspaper Theme related.
