I am having a frustrating time trying to create menus all link together but cannot figure it out.
Basically, this is what I am trying to do:
1) I am running an Ajax filter on a module. I have set this to run on categories.
2) The category ID’s I have used all show up fine.
3) I have ALSO made pages with the same name as the categories.
4) I want the categories and pages to link as one.
For example: If I click on i.e. ‘Mobile’ from the module, it will take me to it’s category page showing the post which is assigned to it. However, if I go to the main menu and click Mobile, it will show me a plain page.
How can I link the page so it links to the category?

In order to use the Yoast breadcrumbs and remove the theme’s you will first have to enable them from the plugin settings: http://screencast.com/t/qN2p9Ft2
Then you have to replace the code in the core files with the one provided by YOAST: http://kb.yoast.com/article/245-implement-wordpress-seo-breadcrumbs
There are multiple places breadcrumbs are added. You need to do this for every type of page/post/category where breadcrumbs are specified in the code. You need to make the same changes for pages and other templates to. If you want you can use an editor like Notepad++ and search in all files to see where the breadcrumbs are defined for each template and make the changes.

Unfortunately the theme does not have such an option at this moment. The only method to do it is hard-coding it. CSS is not very hard to figure out. It is better than the alternative which involves altering the PHP files and adding conditionals to td_category_template.php.
You can use css without altering core files and you can have control over it from the theme panel which is a big plus.
You can set the code Catalin gave you to apply to a specific category only. Every category has an custom class set to it. You can get this class by inspecting the category page with your browser inspector: http://screencast.com/t/5uS8nYlTc6u
For example mine is category 66. So i would add this to the beginning of the code like so:
.category-66 .td-category-header.td-image-gradient-style8 {
background-image: url('https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b5/Winnersh_Meadows_Trees.jpg');
background-repeat: no-repeat;
}
Now the code will only apply to that specific category. So if you need to use the code for another category you can simply copy and paste it and change the category number and the image.

If you want to keep the default template and create a custom one, you can create your own page template in the root of the theme and copy the code from page.php(as an example) and just add this comment instead – http://screencast.com/t/UdDaIQhr The theme pulls the name from the comment on the top of the file.
It should appear on template options as an extra page template – http://screencast.com/t/cONiVSlbjH7 Then you can add your custom modification to the new template and still have the default templates present.

1. Is it possible to pin the posts in Big Grid slider? For example, I want to have the second post on the second position, despite adding new posts to slider.
I have tested the WP-Sticky plugin and SM Sticky Clicky Star, but it doesn’t work.

5. When I’ve created my own sidebar and add an widget, it appears on the site correctly, but when I want to edit the content, there is no such possibility, the content disappear in the cockpit, it’s empty (but visible on the site). When I want to edit it, I have to add new item.

Our theme was built based on a fixed site width. All content depends on this with in order to align to the column based layout we created. The width can be reduced using css but the problem is that all elements depend on this width. If you change it, you will have to change every single element you use on your website in order to adjust it to the new width. For this category style, header container are transparent and practically in this container you can see the background image. This can be set within Theme panel. There is not an easy option for it in panel to change this, sorry.
Also, another possibility for you, would be to use a bit of Css to make some customization. Please try the code below in your Theme panel->Custom Css area to fix the problem, like this: http://screencast.com/t/gtGlwFvufE

Also having an issue with sharing on my site. In fact, for some reason one of my posts was even taken off of facebook.

On one site where I am using Newsmag, I seem to be having an issue with “tabbed” content (tabs, pageable content, tour). I’ve published one page so far using the tab feature, and for each tab on that page that you click on, the page scrolls all the way to the bottom of the page, way past the tab’s viewable content. You have to scroll back up to read things in there. When you click on the next tab, it does the same thing again.
I have purchased your other themes, Magazin and Newspaper, and I use the “Tab” feature on another site where I use Newspaper theme, and it works just fine.
Any ideas what is causing this and how to fix it? I would like the page to not move a bit when tabs are clicked, just like in the demos and on my Newspaper site. I realize that, depending on the size of the content within each tab, the bottom of the page may extend or compress, but my page shouldn’t actually scroll. Thanks so much in advance!

Please make sure that the images displayed in grid are at least by thumb’s size. For example the first thumb on the left have 534X462px so the image should be at least that dimension to fit well because WordPress won’t enlarge images, only crops them.

1. Try this guide and regenerate the thumbnails for all your images: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-fix-strange-thumbnails/ clear all caches and test again. If the image is large enough it should be displayed fine in thumbs.
2. If a post doesn’t have a featured image set the theme load a placeholder image when this option from theme panel is enabled: http://screencast.com/t/qXc9ADVOzKOf To set a custom image you need to add an image in /images/no-thumb directory: http://screencast.com/t/VBrS8hN53 then replace in get_image() function the name of the image like here: http://screencast.com/t/CYZRDHlJs
3. In order to identify the ideal/average size you need to figure out which is the largest container that will display that particular image and upload an image bigger than that container. Then there is the post template to consider. If you use post templates with big image backgrounds (style 6, 7 or 8), then your uploaded image has to be bigger (especially on style 8). You need to asses your website’s layout (posts and block elements) and come up with an average image size that will work on smaller containers but also keep good quality on bigger ones.

The theme uses thumbs to reduce the page size and speed up page loading time. From each image uploaded are generated thumbs for each thumb size used by the theme. Basically when a post it’s displayed on the page in a block, the featured image displayed is not the one which you uploaded in media file, it’s a thumb cropped from the original image at precise dimension. To change the picture orientation most likely you will need a different cropping system. Unfortunately our theme was built using a fixed width and all the elements depend on that width. But inspecting your website i saw that only a few images were full width. The rest of the content is in a fixed width container.
We have a few full width options in our theme as well, like a few post styles that use the featured image at full width:

1)Unfortunately, our theme does not have an option for your first request. As an alternative for you, would be to use a plugin when do this thing for you. You could try to find a plugin but we cannot assure it will work because we have not tested these plugin. For instance, you should try this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/registered-users-only/ .
2)As i can see on your site, you are using header style 7. If you look on our demo preview, that white space is found there, because this is the style of this kind of header. If you do not want to have these white space, i will suggest to use other header style, (style 8 for example) like this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/ .
If you want to modify this header style it is necessary to know a bit of CSS and HTML. You have to modify header-style-7.php file like that: http://screencast.com/t/RqVdNXwM4e . This is not a simply task and this required some customization. If you do not aware about the steps, please consider to hire a developer to do this for you.

I really love your theme, but I’m having an issue with sharing post content on LinkedIn.
Basically, when you copy paste a website post link on LinkedIn, it grabs all of the posts information including images and text. When I copy and paste a link from any post on my website that is using the Newspaper theme, for example http://www.homeinspiration.co.nz/kitchen/kitchen-decor/2015/11/19/geometric-backsplash-designs-and-kitchen-decor-possibilities/, it can’t grab information about the post.
I initially thought my issue would be related to a plugin I was using. I tried deactivating plugins but I couldn’t find the culprit. That’s when I thought the theme might be the issue. I tried disabling the Newspaper theme, and activated a default WordPress theme and the post link showed information correctly on LinkedIn.
So I came to the conclusion that something in the Newspaper theme is stopping post information being correctly grabbed by LinkedIn. All other social media sites share the post information with no hassles at all. Would you be able to assist me in finding what is stopping post content correctly showing in LinkedIn when a post link is being shared?
