I have a weird problem with the build-in gallery.
Sometimes the images just stops midway if I switch with the arrows between the images. Not everytime, but in the major browsers Firefox and Chrome. Sometimes it works correct, sometimes not. The Lightbox doesn’t work either when that happens.
Any ideas?

Before I used this to hide the submemu:

I have a problem with the new photos.
When I load a new photo to media library and try to set it into to the article photo, It crops automatically the upper half of the photo. In the grid the photo works fine.

And this problem concerns only the new photos. Not the photos which I have downloaded previously. And this problem has been a couple of days.

I’ve a small problem with excerpt.I’ve tried to change the excerpt length by: themepanel –> excerpts.
I tried to changhe the lenght but nothing change (lenght is 25words).I would want to have 100 words (if i put a low number fox example 5 words or 5 letters it runs,if i put 30-40-50-100 words it doesn’t runs).
Wordpress and theme latest version.

Hello,
I am struggling to raise my page speed score on Google.
When testing my site at the page speed insight tool I get 80 on desktop and 49 on mobile.
I have read the speed guide and everything in your knowledge database, but can’t get a page speed above 80. I would really like to have more than 85 at least.
Somehow I have a lot of rendering blocking css files. How can I get rid of them?
Also I am using the Font “Lato” instead of Roboto Condensed, but my website is still fetching Roboto Condensed…

1. Now I see your issue with header ad. If you don’t want to use header ad please remove also the code from that section and that space will be removed.
If you want to use header ad on mobile devices I can help you with custom css to hide that space for different sizes of screen using media queries.
2. For example I see that you use post style 8 for your articles. So if you comment or delete title from the code for this template – http://screencast.com/t/iddm2vcxxVW you can use another post styles where the title will be visible(those are not affected by your change in template 8): http://screencast.com/t/Am58acxL9jQ1

I’d like to request the ability to add a tab block WITHIN a tab block.
For example, a tab for “Events” could have multiple sub-tabs, one for each category
Or a “News” tab could have sub-tabs for headlines, local, national, international, the arts, health, sports, tech…

Hey guys, I’ve recently acquired and installed the newspaper theme and I stumbled upon a little problem.

I’m using the theme’s gallery option for the first time under the heading “Veja a galeria de fotos” and the thing is, until the page is fully loaded, the gallery makes a huge mess with the page’s layout.
Is there anything I could make to prevent this from happening? it is indeed a heavy post full of pictures, but I don’t think this is how it’s supposed to behave.

I run a multisite. The theme works perfectly in my network.
I have a posts block question: Is it possible to add some kind of code that would display content from a different site w/n my own network in a Post block 7 and/or Post Block 12?
Goal: My site is based on Washington DC information, http://www.SocialAlerts.com/washingtondc (DC) and I also have Both /virginia (VA) and /maryland (MD) sites in my multisite network as they are w/n 5 miles of DC. A lot of people live in VA/MD but work in DC and are looking for info for all three demographics.
My goal is to set up a post block 12 or post block 7 in /washingtondc that displays posts from /maryland and/or /virginia sites.
I’ve tried the wordpress rss block and it does NOT work well at all. The result is NOT compliant with your theme (none of the format is maintained, no featured image, no link back to the original post…)
Can you think of a way to do this and provide the code as a temp fix…and perhaps include an extra two fields in the post block setup that allows for same site multisite data in the future?
For example, simply by adding a field called “Multisite blog id” that utilizes “switchtoblog()” to grab data from the blog in question, and “multisite category id” that filters that blog data by the category IF the id is entered (and returns the last “x” number of posts from ALL cats if that id is not entered), then restoreblog() to return all data fetching to the pages current site should work perfectly. But I have no idea where to place this modification w/n your code…

I’m not sure what you mean you have that option in Theme Panel > Custom Typography to set fonts for you post,pages, menus, block(title, post title and excerpt): http://screencast.com/t/IyzWj1HEORNq
Also for footer text you can use custom css to change the fonts like you have set for your posts for example: http://screencast.com/t/AqBfQBMnNOxT or you can set a font that is loaded by the theme – http://screencast.com/t/8gyqLnqVm

Is there any way to force the thumbnails to be displayed on a 16:9 resolution or 700×394? even if these images are in portrait, i want to force them to be displayed on 700 x 394.
Mashable has forced every thumbnail to be displayed on a fixed resolution. For example, see this old article http://mashable.com/2006/04/12/wikihow-community-powered-how-to-manual/. You can see that the image is scaled, even though it is disorted. Any way to do the same here?
