Okay, i am trying to use shortcode to handle the displaying of those ACF fields, but inside the module builder it doesnt seems to work as i cant get the ID of that specific post displayed using the module.
tried those:
$url = ‘https://example.com/your-post-slug/’;
$post_id = url_to_postid( $url );
echo ‘Post ID is: ‘ . $post_id;
or
td_global::get_instance()->td_post_id;
and
global $tdb_state_single;
$post_id = $tdb_state_single->post_id->__invoke();
but none works.
thanks,
Hi! Thanks for you answer, but it doesn’t really solve my doubt.
I know there is the option of choosing to display parent or sibling categories, what I want is to display ALL the siblings. By default the subcategory selected disappears from the menu.
Here I see the four subcategories because I’m in the parent’s category: Bienestar. Photo
When I select one of them (Familia), it disappears from the menu. Photo 2
Notice in this example how you can navigate between subcategories (Finance, Marketing, Politics and Technology), but all the names remain visible in the menu.
Many thanks for you attention!

Hi,
What I can do is to add it on our list and I just did it 😀
As an alternative, I think it can be used a css on the exact same classes and without the !important
For example:
.tagdiv-type {
font-size: 17px;
line-height: 1.4;
color: #222;
}
Set the code in the theme panel > custom code> custom css.
I hope this will help!
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
Is there any way to improve this in a future update? I think the styles defined by an author should override what’s configured in the cloud template.
Alternatively, what would you recommend as a workaround? For example, if I want posts in a certain category to have post content font size 17 and block quote font size 18, how would I be able to configure that and still allow authors to apply their own stylings within a post?
Hi, I am facing issues with showing tables in mobile view. In desktop mode tables are coming fine, but in mobile tables are getting elongated and cramped. Can you please let me know how to improve the table in mobile view.
Example
Please check it on mobile and desktop both

Hi,
We’ll do our best top reply today via email.
1. We’ll check via email.
2. When you add an listings (this s i usually a CPT) you can set on submit button if this should be automatically publish or set in draft, is recommended to be in draft so it can be checked by an admin and the admin to be the one that will publish the listings if this is ok.
3. Can you please provide a few examples? here or better via email so we can check them.
4. If you want to add events on your website, you can use ACF plugin to create them, or use a dedicate plugin for events. Normally events are CPTs
You need to use a plugin for membership our theme provides the Opt-in Builder – https://forum.tagdiv.com/subscriptions/ but can be used other plugins if is need. The best way will be to have a subdomain or staging were to set the theme and install a memebership demo -https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/newspaper-prebuilt-websites/?demo-type=membership to see how it is set and how can work.
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately, di do not understand exactly. Can you please provide an example how you’ll like to be? Also a link to the page were you are using the Table of Contents will help a lot.
Thank you!

I have a question regarding the process of publishing posts by directly copying content from Microsoft Word into a new post, including all associated images.
Due to tight time constraints in creating, uploading images and publishing our news summaries, we are currently using a less-than-ideal workaround — converting the Word document into a PDF and publishing that instead. While functional, this method is not very professional and limits our presentation flexibility.
Could you advise if there’s a more efficient and professional way to directly publish from Word, with images included, into our post editor? Please let me know if there are any solutions, alternative solutions, or possible solutions after a little customization.
Here is an example of our current approach:

Hello,
The process is as follows:
After clicking the unlock button you are redirected to the plans page where you can select a plan, the next step is authentication, or if the user does not have an account, it is to create one … a good example to follow is this demo -https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_chained_news_pro/
Thank you!
Hi,
I checked the website and I see that you have the tagdiv mobile theme plugin enabled, but the lightspeed plugin cache that you are using do not have the cache option for mobile enabled. So it will deliver the mobile version on desktop. Also, do you want to have a different version on mobile, different from desktop and simple? If yes, then keep the mobile theme plugin, if no, then please disable and remove the plugin so the responsive version will be used.
The footer you have can be edited suing tagDiv Composer https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/ also, now I see that all elements have a hover color that is working.
Can you please provide an example for how you should like the time to be display? I will check and see what can be done.
Thank you!
Dear Team,
I have a question regarding the tag div workflow for unlocking articles with credits.
If you click here on the second botton (option 2: buy article), normally it directs to log in .. but if the user doesn’t have yet an account and clicks on sign up, what is the natural workflow of the code of newspaper theme please? example: https://www.captainforest.com/how-to-transition-to-zero-waste-cities/
I’m asking because we have customized the code and now the sign up form doesn’t work (workflow: after click on option 2 botton in the article, then sign up instead of log in). We want to redirect to plans page, but want to know what’s the natural workflow to avoid too much customization of the code.
Thank you.
Best,
Lamiaa
I hope you understand my question well!

Hi,
This can be done, you need 2 custom fields (you can add them using acf plugin), one should be text type and one url format, after that on the page or post (where the custom fields will be used) set the button element and add the name of custom fields in button text and url like this:
button text: {cf_btn-text}
button url: {cf_btn-url}
The name of custom file will be set inside the parameters {cf_cfName}, in my example the names are btn-text and btn-url.
I hope this will help you!
Additional information: There is no problem in the desktop version, I only encounter this problem in the mobile version.

Hi team,
I have various cloud templates where the Single Post Content has font size for Post Content manually defined.
Unfortunately, setting this option then overrides WordPress Typography settings. If an author writing a post chooses the preset S, M, L or XL options in the post creator, the setting is not applied; font size remains as what is set in the cloud template.
However, if the author chooses to set a custom font size, this does work.
I believe this to be a bug, if the author selects one of the WordPress preset font sizes, that should take precedence over the cloud template.
https://imgur.com/a/PiFUdV7 – in this example, the second paragraph is configured by the author as size small. It shows correctly in the post creator, but will render incorrectly when published due to the cloud template. While every other paragraph should adhere to the cloud template, this paragraph must retain the author preference.
In other words, typography presets should override the cloud template, not the other way around.
Can this be fixed?
Thanks!
Hi @Simion, thanks for taking a look. Nothing was solving the problem, so I restored backup, resetting all files & databases (as I mentioned it was working fine an evening before) – that seemed to help and I could at least edit the template I needed to, urgently. Am not sure what caused the issue, but if it happens again, I’ll be sure to reach out and wait a few days to understand it.
Hi,
I think you may have solved the problem in the meantime, because the website looks fine now on mobile.
By default the content you see on mobile is the same one from desktop, the responsive version. This changes however if you activate the mobile theme and/or the AMP plugins https://prnt.sc/9UGTQQHkYMBO These are optional.
In case there are further issues please let me know.
Thanks.
Hi,
Unfortunately the theme do not have this option, can filter only using taxonomies.
Indeed, the Filter Everything plugin is the one used in those situations, just teste it with more elements, foe example test it with flex block 1, with normal loop, is possible with flex block builder to not work.
Thank you!
Hello – can you advise on correcting Single Post Views numbers? For example, this article, posted at 14:24 BST today immediately showed 1700+ views.
https://jazzjournal.co.uk/2025/07/08/new-releases-june-july-2025-a-b/
I have WP Super Cache installed and have enabled Ajax Post View count in Theme Panel. I deleted cached pages in WP Super Cache. Still I see 1700+ views, “acquired” in 15 minutes.
I must be missing something.
In the element settings I have tried both “WP-PostViews plugin” and “Theme Post Views” as post views source. No difference.
Thanks
Mark
Hi!
I’m having trouble keeping all subcategory names visible when navigating through a parent category page.
For example, I have a parent category called “Bienestar”, with several subcategories like “Familia”, “Nutrición”, and “Relaciones”.
When I navigate to a subcategory page (e.g., “Familia”), I want the menu to continue showing all the subcategories under “Bienestar”, including the one I’m currently viewing.
However, what happens now is that the subcategory I’m on disappears from the menu, and only the parent or other sections are shown.
Is it possible to make all subcategories stay visible in the menu or sidebar, no matter which one I’m currently viewing?
Many thanks in advance for your attention!
Hi,
You need to assign that footer cloud template as global, this can be done from more places, for example you can do this from the theme panel – https://i.imgur.com/8ZOd1On.png or from cloud templates – https://i.imgur.com/GQAWjdA.png also, make sure that the footer is not set only as individual on that page or cloud template.
The footer image can be edited using tagDiv Composer – https://i.imgur.com/Bept9jG.png select the footer row and check the css tab from there you can remove or replace the image – https://i.imgur.com/dXwS33R.png
I hope this will help you!
Hi,
What I can recommend is to use a popup and create a page with a search in it (like the one from desktop) set the page in popup and use the popup as mobile search. For example the mobile menu from this demo – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_towntalk_pro/ is a popup element.
Thank you!
@Calin Thanks, I managed to solve the previous issue. But there are three things I still need to fix:
1. Custom YouTube Thumbnails Are Getting Cropped
The custom thumbnails pulled from YouTube are all being cut off. You can check — this is happening with all YouTube embeds.
Examples:
https://ibb.co/Q7PjvBhw
https://ibb.co/MyqTmqzs
And here are sample pages:
https://glostv.com/abc13-houston/
https://glostv.com/bloomberg-news/
2. Channel Logo Images Are Being Cropped.
This issue appears on the homepage and across the site, wherever the channel logo is displayed at 120x120px. The theme is cropping the images in a way that none of the logos show properly, and I haven’t been able to fix this.
Examples:
https://ibb.co/1JXyF1RS
https://glostv.com/
3. I Can’t Replace the Theme Layout with My Own Design
This is the main issue. I want to replace the current homepage layout from the theme with a cleaner, more modern grid layout — similar to this:
https://ibb.co/RkTq98Q7
I built an HTML version that looks perfect here:
https://glostv.com/pagina-incial-teste/
However, I couldn’t get it to work using TagDiv Composer — the images are always stretched, and the layout settings are just too limited. I’ve watched your tutorials, but none helped.
I think one possible solution could be a custom snippet that overrides the current layout and allows me to use my HTML version instead.
Can you help me figure out a working solution?
