In HispanicLA.com I noticed that the pages appear without header, without menus and without sidebars. Instead, the content takes all the width. I ignore the reason. So I started to edit one of the pages with tagdiv Composer. Added header and menus. Saved. But eve though now the header and menus appear, but the content of the page dissappeared!

I tried again with another page. Same problem. I retrace my steps, eliminating the header and menus I have added before. No solution:

The other pages still show the content, without header or menus or sidebars.
I want to add the “pages” menu also to the posts, but I am afraid it will cause the same problem.

Hi I have updated the latest version of newspaper but now if I activate the tagdiv mobile theme plugin the amp plugin does not work: it is installed but it cannot be set and neither the amp pages work. If I uninstall the mobile theme plugin, the amp plugin works again. What can I do?

Why is a new main menu item automatically added with the same page name when a new page is published?

For example, when I create a mobile page for an existing page in the tagdiv editor, a new menu item is added with the page name I defined for the mobile page. Every time I have to delete this record from the menu management screen.

Is there any way to prevent this?

I have both the old version 10 and new version 11 on a new site we need to complete a mock-up for a client pronto.

The new site is at dumbhost.us and We need the old style category template 8 applied to the new site’s categories.

NOTE that I had to change the HEADER BACKGROUND to clear just to get myself into the neighborhood of the effect. I need the effect to begin BELOW the header and not be part of the header. See the old version in my other existing site below.

Effect of course is the background is static (which is not the issue), while an open area between the HEADER and CONTENT area displays a gap allowing the background image to be seen in its primary mid-section until the page is scrolled.

The new version of Newspaper has been a learning curve that I can’t seem to find how to rebuild that section OR find a modular section in the templates. I need the effect of Category Template 8 in the old style PLEASE.

I’ve purchased THREE licenses of this theme, and after spending three hours today, I’m at the point I want to move away from the theme if this is going to be this much trouble to work with in the future. I’m attempting to understand the changes, but there is NO tutorials or instruction that I can locate.

For now, I need this ONE fix, please.

NOTE the new license asked me to create a new user account. I couldn’t use my old tag-div account ID. So that new account user name is JOEHUMMEL.

I use a prebuilt website Magazine Pro for my new website.
It seems tag page (example.com/tag/something/) doesn’t work with multibyte strings.
I use the page with Japanese characters though, when the word something is alphabet, items will be appeared correctly, but when the word is Japanese characters, no items will be there.
However, category page (example/category/something/) and search page (example.com/?s=something) works correctly with Japanese words.

I love Newspaper and have ever used other prebuilt websites(Gossip and Gourmet) with Japanese characters and those sites work with no problem and this is the first time to see such issue.

Could I have any advice?

I’m having an issue where the “Featured” sorting option on category pages is not working.

For example, on this page: http://staging.consciousreporter.com/category/global-agendas/ (the password is “tcrstaging”)

I have added a number of posts to the “Featured” category, but when I change between the “Featured” and “Latest” sorting options there is no difference in the display order of the posts.

Also, is there a way to disable the “By review score” dropdown sorting option?

Hi team – is there a means of changing the position of the Ads displayed on AMP version of the template. The Mobile theme has an option to show ads above the body content, but the AMP version only has one option and it appears above the title (i.e. so first thing the user sees). We’d like to get them to match.

I have the issue that the mobile Version (AMP) is sometimes loaded on random sites on Desktop PC.

First I thought WP-Rocket causes the issue. Than I deleted WP Rocket and switched to WP Supercache as you recommended. I followed all your settings.

But the issue still remains wit WP Supercache.

Any suggestions how I can solve this?

These appear twice on same page.

Above the normal formatted view and below the content again, but this time unformatted.

My steps: clear cache/reinstall plugins/reinstall prebuild websites/reinstall theme…

We can’t edit web home page & mobile home page, errors are showing like.

Errors at columns elements: 4(models) : 7(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)

Hi support – upgraded to Newspaper 11 and doing some tests. Looks like the Mobile Theme has an issue. On first load the search icon doesn’t appear and the logo is offset to the left. This is on all pages on the mobile theme version. After about 15-20 seconds the search icon appears and the logo resets properly. See examples:

The magnific popup code is shown as unused js.
