The thumb sizes needed for each of the modules are mentioned here

Maybe you are using a plugin that is automatically resizing your thumbs, and this can cause interference with the theme and cause unexpected results. If you could provide a link to your website pointing to this issue, I will inspect it and see if there are any problems in this matter.

Please ensure that you have right setup your Trending sorting of your block from Block Settings in the panel. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core file and rule our the conflicting plugins. Clear all your caches and check the results. If the problem is still there, please provide some deeper details about your problem so I can identify it.

I cannot think of any other cause for this without inspecting the problem first hand, and I would very much want to solve your issue. Basically if the required thumbs for the element is enabled
– https://www.screencast.com/t/zvGyFtQBgF and the post has a featured image set, this will display as intended.
Please make sure all these thumbs are enabled in Theme panel->Block settings

Sorry but td_config will not work from the child theme. You will have to edit it in the main theme.
Our blocks were not built to work with a custom taxonomy. There is no code I can provide to make our theme blocks work with a custom taxonomy.
Sorry but I cannot provide a solution as the re is no simple code you can add. It will need custom modification made by a developer. I suggest hiring a freelancer to help out with this modification as the theme support does not cover custom modifications.

However it is not impossible, so you could try to create the layout you want and see if it is suited for your project and works properly. But please note that some blocks or other elements may not display as intended in these conditions.

The method provided above for the hover works properly on my end. If you select the options as shown in the screenshot, there will be no zoom effect when hovering. Maybe you have caching installed locally or server-side, try to clear the cache after making all these changes.

The big grid 7 and style 7 can be found in the visual composer dropdown. Please access the pages in wordpress and edit the one that is set as a homepage.
