Hello,

first of all > very good theme!

is it possible that i create my own block? i need a 3×2 smartblock where the last place can be used for advertising.

like that:
article 1 | article 2 | article 3
article 4 | article 5 | advertising

What do I have to do to get a block like this?

I use flex block 3, but please tell me how to enlarge the thumbnail besides the first article. For example, the 1st article and the 3rd article are shown larger.

Perhaps I will need a custom for td_flex_block_3.php, but could you tell me the code?

Please reply if possible.
Thank you !

I use demo Recipes, but I want to block header 1 back to default shape, what should I do? In this demo template, block header 1 loses the line below the title.

1). Is there a way to group two element to become one in the same row? For example lets say we use Block 65 and then under Block 66 in the Cloud Library without the page for a category. I have to use tags to make sure the same post does not show in both blocks. I have Block 66 using one post and block 66 using 3 post. I wish I can group these to be one category and filter by one category so I don’t have to use different tags. Unless there is a way please let me know.

2) How do I get the modules in a block to show all the same height no matter if they have one or two lines of title? Here in this example https://we.tl/t-f3cHa5kcFm you can see the last module is not the same height as others because it only has one line of title. How do I make the module the same height not matter what?

Thanks

Hi Cain, unfortunately this doesn’t solve the problem that Block 7 is still displaying blog posts other than FEATURED posts.

I actually got it worked out for anyone that may be interested.

HTML Code

<div class="eventsPageHeader"><h1>Featured Events</h1></div>

CSS Code (plugged into the Theme Panel > Custom Code > CSS)

.eventsPageHeader h1 {
text-transform:uppercase;
text-align:center;
font-family: "Work Sans";
font-size: 25px;
font-weight: 500;
line-height: 54px;
margin-top:12px;
}
.eventsPageHeader h1:after {
left: 0;
right: 0;
bottom: 0;
margin: 0 auto;
content: '';
display: block;
position: absolute;
width: 80px;
height: 1px;
background-color: #38a6c1;
opacity: .2;
-ms-filter: "progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Alpha(Opacity='20')";
filter: alpha(opacity=20);
}

Hi there,
We used Category Template 20 – Fast News to create a category page. We added the Block 4 element and want to display 9 posts, not the default six. It is displaying that number of posts, but stretching the third row of images. Any idea how to fix that? https://www.goworldtravel.com/category/travel/south-america/ecuador/

Thanks!

Hi,

If I understand correctly you are referring to this drop-down menu -> https://www.screencast.com/t/86mqAb2yLyPt if is so please make sure that you set to show all categories -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jjWA0MiQwmS
Block settings -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/

Thank you!

Hi,

If you want to hide a specific category on blocks you can use a custom css ,
for example I want to hide the category Travel -> https://www.screencast.com/t/sCinDIlcM
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/p6jk08Lu4E -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ICb5keRVOkK -> https://www.screencast.com/t/HTYRjgZw0c
.td-module-image a[href$="/travel/"],
.td-meta-info-container a[href$="/travel/"],
.single .td-category a[href$="/travel/"]
{
display: none;
}

All you need to do is to change the category in code and the background color will apply on that category.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,

Maybe the category tags are disabled in the theme panel, you could check there

Thanks

Hi,

You can create sidebar with tagDiv Composer you need to set the layout you need for the row https://www.screencast.com/t/67sbV9PnoCO0 and adding elements/blocks or you can add a widget sidebar element with the composer – http://prntscr.com/n9g3c3http://prntscr.com/n9g3fu and select the desired sidebar.

Thank you!

Hello !

Unfortunately this will require some custom work and due to our support policy: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/ We cannot offer custom work. You can try finding a freelancer on studio.envato.com

If you want to disable the comment counter you can do that by going into Theme Panel – Block Settings – Meta info on Modules / Blocks and disable it: https://www.screencast.com/t/5tuhEQ5N1

Thank you !

Calin

Hi,

Yes, you can achieve that using tagDiv Composer, all you need to do is to set the layout of row in 3 empty column -> https://www.screencast.com/t/5bwDe1xdmwJA after that set the elements/blocks in them; add a widget sidebar element with the composer – http://prntscr.com/n9g3c3http://prntscr.com/n9g3fu and select the desired sidebar.

Thank you!

Hi,

I know how to hide a category of posts from a particular block through the filter. But how do I remove a certain category from recent posts from the home page and from the articles page (blog)?

Hello !

The designs do not match because you are using the mobile theme. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme. Cloud templates are included. They do no work while having mobile theme.

We are sorry for the inconvenience !

Please try this custom CSS and paste it here if you are using the Mobile Theme:https://www.screencast.com/t/T0N7cNzJHN ; If you are not using the mobile theme paste it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/0vBfC9NJgBv And as you can see here the result: https://www.screencast.com/t/RYnwC7Babk7

Here is the code:
.wpb_wrapper .td_flex_block_1{
box-shadow: none!important;
}

Thank you !

When I use Block 14, the overlay only covers part of the image, leaving an ugly trimmed part in the bottom.

Check the right sidebar on this page for example: https://fojo.se/where-we-work/myanmar/

Any ideas why this might happen and how to solve it?

Hi,

1. It is true that WPBakery has dedicated Woocommerce elements, while the composer does not. It does support Woocommerce shortcodes however, as I mentioned above
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/
Shortcodes can be entered in text elements, like the column text. The column text element can display shortcodes. Blocks can also display products, although they can’t be filtered only sorted – http://prntscr.com/o1ap44

2. The theme has general font settings in the theme panel, and also more specific font settings per element in the composer. These specific settings will override the general settings.
I have inspected the website and I see the problem. The font size CSS seems to be coming from a custom stylesheet from a plugin – http://prntscr.com/o1arjv
http://prntscr.com/o1arob
That code will override the theme CSS. You could remove that code from the plugin, or disable it.

Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Hello,

I have been attempting to create the same product image boxes seen at the top of this page: https://bit.ly/2KL8jPj

I figured out that they are using the plugin, but can’t quite figure out what blocks they are using, any advice/insight would appreciated.

Hello !

This is the result I got by doing the next steps: https://www.screencast.com/t/xAnIeB9D

1. Added a Blank Single Post Template, Blank Header, Any Footer Template.

Set the footer template to be like here and delete all the content using the tagDiv Composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/S6XdWbY7IRS

2. After I erased all the blocks and unwanted stuff I added a Image box ( Element 1 in first picture ) and a Text with Title block ( Element 2 in the first picture )

If you want to make your Homepage to look like this then you will not need the Single Post template because the Homepage can be edited using the tagDiv Composer directly.

If you have more questions please let me know !

Thank you !

Hi,

There are content protection plugins to try and prevent these actions. I believe this one is quite widely used – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-content-copy-protection/
There could still be ways to bypass it, but it should block the vast majority of the attempts.

You could try others as well – https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/content-protection/

Thanks
