i also installed w3 total cache, but i uninstalled it again and activate the tagdiv speed booster, it was the same blank white (but the data was loading, i can see the page source)
FYI, if you’re using a plugin with timthumb, it usually has a cache folder for creating the thumbs, and the folder “read/write permissions” must be 777; this will generally be reset when moving to new host to 755 or even 750. You can usually set this via ftp, by going to
> wp-content > plugins > yourplug > cache*
(*or “images” or whatever – see docs for plugin you’re using, or find the folder full of images)
Change cache (CHMOD; change command) to “777” so it’s fully writable. Then go back to page using the plug, and the images should be written properly.
The theme doesn’t use timthumb.

I have strange situation.
Big slider links don’t work. When I look posts in big menu, everything is fine.
http://www.cakovec.hr.
I try to desable SEO plugin, W3 Cache plugin, clear the cache.
Last thing i did was update to WP4, but then i test it and everything was ok, 3 hours later, problem
Please advise.
I gave up on that for two reasons; I used to think it was cool, but now I kind of think it’s a vanity thing where the site owner is more excited than the people visiting it. Second, it seems to be a resource hog since you need to go grab that info someplace either for every page view, or cache that stuff every hour, which means for a new post a new visitor wouldn’t see the shares anyway, such as coming from Google News when it’s “news.”
I never share something because others have, I share something because I like the post. SO, I guess if it floats your boat, I’d look at that other plugin we talked about a couple of weeks back which used to hook into the third party service, but now won’t … wait for his version, then look at the code to see how he does it. (That is what I’d do.)
Try something other than twitter to test change, since they often “cache it once” even if wrong, so a new tweet might just keep showing the original with error, and won’t update (at least that is what I’ve seen.)
Be sure to check the page source and ensure the og and twitter tags are populated; which you likely already have done.
I came in late on this, so might not be relevant at this point.
Was just popping in to see if anybody was crashing with WP 4.0 🙂
My homepage wents mad with the last update. I tried setting a new page, saving, reloading, erasing cache… nothing works. The page just makes a mess of the elements with Visual Composer

Optimize your site for everything ELSE first without cache plugin, then when you have all other items addressed, such as server settings for gzip/deflate, optimization of images, htaccess file settings (for Apache), etc., THEN go to the setup of caching.
Hello,
I used tagDiv speed booster, w3 total cache (only page cache) but my site is too slow and is giving 500 Request timeout “Connection Timeout”.
Please help.
Hi,
Please provide more details about this, I have tried to access your site and for some reasons it’s not loading, so let me know what kind of issues with big slider you have.
Note that this may happen due to CDN plugins/server cache, make sure you deactivate any type of CDN plugins and empty the server cache and that you use the 1170px layout.
Thanks
Hi,
Can you please send an URL so I can inspect this? I have tried to recreate this but haven’t found an issue like that, you can check our demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/how-to-make-people-love-you/ resize the window to mobile screen width and notice that the image it’s resized well or you can open it on mobile screen, same result: the image looks good: http://screencast.com/t/EdVmVgIR
This may happen due to some plugin and from CDN plugins especially, please disable all plugins, including CDN if you use any and empty server cache then try uploading the feature image and setting it back then check again.
Hope this helps!
Thanks
I have never seen that before except if a page was deleted and then version online is cached. the other thing i have seen is if you login with non admin account you would not see something at higher user level. You might trying going to pages the doing a search for the page… Also check the wp settings to see if page still selected as static home page. All that comes to mind right now.
Thanks Christopher. I have regular backups and have gone back a day, but the page that is showing as my Home Page is no longer in WordPress Admin, and there is no other page in Admin with the same formatting as Home Page.
All the caches, history, etc. have been eliminated, but the Home Page is still showing. It’s just that I cannot edit it in Admin because it does not show up as a page in admin.
Any ideas?
Philip
You should always do periodic backups of your site, esp after creating new pages. you should also check your site is secure if a page was deleted from your pages menu, as nothing should delete your pages.
Try disabling your cache temporarily and make sure its not caching your admin pages.

Hello,
I just noticed this morning that my Home Page Template is missing. It’s still running on my site http://www.tribyoot.org, but the page is missing from the Admin and so I cannot access it using WP Bakery or otherwise.
Do you have any idea why this might happen and how I can recover it? I have tried disabling all plugins, cleared caches and restarted the site. It’s running on the front end, so it’s there somewhere, just no longer named Home Page.
I hope you can help.
Philip
@Nero9111 Yes, sorry about the hi-jack here.
Looked at your site and pulled the source – your OG tags are present and look to be in good working order. The problem you’re having sounds more like the Facebook app setup is erred. Make sure you have your domains and content type setup correctly in your Facebook app, as that can give you the error described.
Also remember that the Facebook debug tool often requires several refreshes with newly scraped data to update the cache on Facebook. Try five or six times and see if that helps. In either case, Newspaper is doing what it should. Also try to repeat the process on several posts and see if any differences are found in the results.
Hello guys!
I have a problem with Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content in the mobile version, i read all the topic and try everything but i dont know why its not working,
In the Speed Booster Pack i have enabled Load CSS asynchronously, Minify all CSS styles, Load JS from Google Libraries and Defer parsing of javascript files
Im using TagDiv Speedbooster plugin to and w3 total cache… i dont know what else i can do 🙁
Total cache does all about browser cache.
Hi,
From theme version 4, as you probably already know, we added our own modal light-box view for images: https://forum.tagdiv.com/display-image-using-modal-window/ but your lightbox plugin should still work.
I have checked your site and noticed that Pinterest plugins works now.
Please try to disable all plugins and then check the big slider if it doesn’t start working this may be due to some CDN plugins which delivers old content, make sure you empty server cache and deactivate the plugins then check again.
Also noticed that your thumbs don’t fit the thumbwrap container, you could try this to fix them.
Please make sure for now you disable all plugins and enable them one by one and check to see which may be the cause of this. Let me know what you find.
Thanks

Hi Radu,
I can define some zone cache for don’t cached, i have just cache with .html (url).
Best regards,
Some of the things I noticed on his site was not using the gravatar, which is a major slowdown, and also he’s limiting the number of thumbs on page, such as not having four big “related stories” images at bottom of post, and as I suggested he’s using only the share buttons vs the number shares buttons.
I just checked one of my pages, which does not have js/css minified, and has gravatar, and has an ajax slider top right AND four images for related posts. This page has a “90” on PageSpeed Insights with both AdSense, and Disqus running. And one of those things is loading Google Analytics even though I am not. I’m not using a caching plugin either. So, in my case I need to consider changing the related posts, figure out how to cache or save the author image locally vs from gravatar, and possibly remove the big image slider top right of each page … which would reduce payload of page by a lot. And I need to minify my main js and style.css files, and retest. I haven’t looked at this since before I got sick, and have been working on something else which pays the bills vs the fun stuff, but need to get back to that obviously 🙂 And even worse, I don’t think I’ve updated the theme to 4.x on the test page (still 3.9.2). Doh. I suppose I should catch up on following my own advice! My non WP site has 97/100 for desktop, and 93/100 mobile.
What blows my mind, as it were, is the 99/100 user experience rating for mobile that Shashank has. May I say “wow” 🙂
@Shashank I deactivated Minify from the W3 Total Cache and installed https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-html-compression/ but it made it worst. Google now shows that I need to minify html…?
https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=gdgtarena.com&tab=desktop
I think you’re not using total cache correctly.
I don’t minify anything with it. Turn minify off and use wp-html compression to minify html. It changes some url pattern and probable the warning with http://fonts.googleapis.com/…7CRoboto+Condensed%3A400%2C700&ver=3.9.2 will go.
After that just optimize the images, and done!
May i see your htaccess?
Screenshot? Here’s every thing!
and I use ithemes security to tweak some of wordpress.
1. use google for js, defer load js, async css and minify
2. The plugin is very big, I’ve configured every part of it with time. I need to know your settings to say what lacks in there. 🙂
3. Before you upload images to wordpress, open that image in photoshop. Press alt+F There is an option “save for web”. Adjust your settings there.
then in the speed booster pack plugin there in default wordpress image compression level, set it to a lower value like 60 and regenerate images.
4. I can see yout html is minified but there are no minified css and js. I minify these files myself and upload them back to server. I don’t use total cache for it.
