Hello,
This is most likely a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hi Gregory,
Unfortunately, I have checked your website and I did not saw that border. It seems to work as expected. Clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
What exactly is happening? Are the settings you make saving properly but they do not appear in the website, or are they not saving?
If they are then it could be a caching problem, try to clear the cache, also force refresh the page you are checking in in the browser (Ctrl+Shift+R).
If they aren’t saved properly, these would be some possible causes
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/theme-panel-9/
In case nothing works, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, also cPanel if possible. Mention as many details about the problem as possible, so we can recreate it. Please include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Hi,
The lazyload issues were fixed in theme version 9.2.1, changelog here
– https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609
– https://www.screencast.com/t/PpqJRYrZRo
After updating most users reported the issue is fixed.
If you have updated to that version, cleared all caches including browser cache and there is still a problem when the lazyload is active, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, also cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Hello,
The warning you see does not block the tagdiv composer. It is just a warning mentioning you made edits outside the composer. The page name can be changed through the tagdiv composer so changing it in the back-end, will result ion the warning you see on your page. But this warning will no block the page editor.
If your page builder gets blocked by this message, it could be influenced by a plugin or a custom code added to that page.
Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!

Hi,
I have made some tests in this case, and everything seems to works as expected. Please check here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/DOSxEkJ6z Make sure that you are using the latest version of it, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.

Hi,
You can reinstall the theme at any time and activate it, that will not be a problem. Once purchased it can be used when needed.
The theme will appear in the WordPress themes folder, it can be deleted from there manually or from WordPress, for example
– https://www.pickaweb.co.uk/kb/how-to-delete-an-installed-wordpress-theme/
If you are referring to widget sidebars you can create them in a few places
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/
Add widgets in them and place them in pages by a widget sidebar element
– https://www.screencast.com/t/AsM7BIJ8V7
Sidebars can be set per category in the theme panel category settings, the posts will inherit them (if a sidebar is not set per post)
You mention that settings in the theme panel are not taking effect on the frontend. Are the settings saved properly when you press the save button?
If they are then it could be a caching problem, try to clear the cache, also force refresh the page you are checking in in the browser (Ctrl+Shift+R).
If they aren’t saved properly, these would be some possible causes

If I misunderstood something please correct me.
Thanks

I have a category image assigned to a page, but it shows up only as gray color (default color) on the main category page but when I click the filter on the dropdown list, I see that the background image shows up. I’ve cleared cache, cleared wp rocket/opcache and no luck.
I can see the div element for background only exists when I select filter. any pointers?
In this form I load well, but the side of a single event (the map is then a bit wider) does not load correctly. It is interesting that on another page in the same configuration (the same version of the theme, WordPress and plugins) everything works well. I have cleared cache (wp-super cache) and cache in CDN (cloudflare). I do not have an idea anymore. If you come up with some solution, please enter it, meanwhile, Merry Christmas!
I have the latest version and of course I did. I wrote that the cache was cleaned …
Hello,
We can confirm this is not a theme bug and is a known issue regarding cache and cdn.
Please try to disable the cache and cdn on your site and test again.
We only recommend using wp super cache:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
and cloudflare as a cdn:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Please disable any other form of cache including hosting side cache.
Thank you!
Hi,
Your live search seems to not work at all now. I suspect it is a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please make sure you also chec kyour cdn server if you use one as this seems to be a caching issue. Please also contact your host and ask to disable any hosting side cache. Please only use wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Then try to use another Instagram account as a test to see if the latest posts are being grabbed. Then switch back to your account. This will also reset the instagram widget.
Let us know if this worked.
Thanks
Hi,
Please update the theme to the latest version of it which is Newspaper 9.2.2 via FTP way, clear all the caches, purge CDEN files and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
You could check similar topics in the WordPress forum if the problem is still present
– https://wordpress.org/support/topic-tag/505-error/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/wp-supercache-causes-500-internal-error-and-cannot-deactivate/
Also please try to deactivate all plugins that are non-theme, clear all cache and try again.
If there is still a problem please provide some more details and some screenshots with the problem.
Thank you.
I cleared the cache and also tried disabling the plugin (W3 Total Cache) but the problem still occurs.
Hi @simion. Is it possible to have a feature like this in the theme that caches random posts? https://anchor.host/randomization-wp-engine-cache/
I have the EventOn plugin. On the single event page the google map is not loaded (if I shake the browser then it works). The problem occurs when LazyLoad is on. I created a test page where this problem does not occur.
I tried to clear the cache (wp-super cache, cdn) and unfortunately it does not give anything
Hi,
You have set an inline width and height with 1px
https://www.screencast.com/t/jUIa2GZTZU6
Please deactivate all plugins, clear all cache and try again.
Also please purge CDN.
Please use this css to force the width
.sf-menu img {
width: 100%;
}
Thank you.

Ensure that you have respected all the theme’s requirements from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ reinstall the theme via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. Hi,
This can be some cache plugin problem, please deactivate all cache plugin that you have , clear all cache and try again.
Thank you.
Hi,
Sorry for the delayed response, seems the topic was unintentionally overlooked for some reason.
1. There is currently an issue when selecting the latest articles template for pages.
While the latest articles template is applied after being selected and the page published/updated, the settings for it are not displaying.
We are working on a fix for this issue however, it will be provided as soon as possible.
2. Between actual modules displaying posts is not possible by a theme setting. With cloud templates you can place ad boxes around the post loop (above it, next to it, below it)
– http://prntscr.com/lxs30w
Here you can preview and also edit the cloud category templates
– https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Category
Each can be imported (and modified if needed), there is also a blank template in which you can design your own templates.
3. The best way to place and ad below the pagination is to use the post loop elements instead of the latest articles section for the template. It is basically the same thing, but the loop can be positioned wherever in the page content, with other content around it
– https://www.screencast.com/t/5tM3cT3Phg99
4. There was a problem with the theme lazyload in the previous version, it is now fixed however. If you have not already, please update the theme, then clear all caching including browser cache. The problem should be fixed.
5. Usually this kind of issue is caused by caching plugin. I have seen before plugins like total cache creating the problem. We tested the mobile theme with WP Super Cache and it works as intended. But some other caching plugins or settings from them can cause the mobile theme plugin to load for desktop users or various other issues.
Please let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
