Hi,

Most javascript functionality is broken in the post pages, search not working, related articles/more from author is useless, even the main menu arrows seem to be missing.

It could be related to an error that is displayed in the inspector console, seems related to a script that is loaded from a “mmr” folder
https://www.screencast.com/t/YNUb2JrwY9

From what I can find online it could be a Merge & Minify & Refresh plugin or code. Please try to temporarily remove or deactivate this plugin and test to see if the problem is solved. If you have a cache clear it after removing/deactivating.

Thanks

Hello Ahmed,

I have inspected your console page and I saw that the major of your issues come from your Rocket Loader plugin and Ads by Google, sorry! First of all, you should remove all of your untested plugins, all the Ads code, clear all the caches and check the results.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello Swati,

Maybe your images are stuck in opacity 0. This usually happens on a js error caused by plugins or customization or other external optimization tools. Please disable all plugins except visual composer or TD Composer, remove all of unknown Ad Code, clear cache and reset CDN files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functioning of the theme.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for the message!

Hello Mert112112,

Probably, you have a cache! Try to clear all of this memory and check the results. If the problem is still there, make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme, remove all of the untested plugins and send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further investigate it closer your setup page. Provide there the link to this topic so we can quickly identify you.

Thanks for your understanding!

Okay. I’m sorry to trouble you with my incompetence. Perhaps there is a conflict with WP Fastest Cache.

It updated a few hours after I made the changes, and I don’t know why, and things are working properly again.

Next time I encounter this issue, I will post in this forum with a link.

Thanks for your patience.

What is it? In others they do not occur because they are different. I already removed the cache plugin, but I re-created it as a minituarass, I already reduced the size of the image and increased it. I do not know. I have no options.

Hello rihtak,

We only made tests with the super cache up to this moment, that is why we know there will be no problem with it and we recommend it. There are plenty of theme users that have other caching plugins.
You can also use Cloudflare for more speed improvements. I found some guides you can use for inspiration
https://wpdingo.com/setup-wp-super-cache-cloudflare
https://tutreal.com/wp-super-cache-cloudflare/

Be sure to test the website with online tools, see where you can improve. Using caching and Cloudflare should improve the performance considerably.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

Let’s try to clarify things here. The mobile theme plugin is optional, nobody is forced to use it since it will drastically change the appearance of the website. You can learn more about it’s functionality here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Then decide if you want to use it or not. If you don’t use it, exactly the same content from desktop will be displayed across all devices (responsive version).

You say you entered a block in a page. The block showed up on desktop, but not on mobile. A link to that page would have been very helpful, so we can see it and test for ourselves. Post it now if the same happens.

The theme does not have any inbuilt page or post cache, so if a modification you made is not reflected in the website, that is most likely a form of cache. Cache by a plugin, a server cache, browser cache maybe others.
Provide links to the pages with problems as well, I will let you know how we see them.

Thanks

Hi,

That is a feature to easily see how the final post will look, by limiting it to the actual post content width (with or without sidebar).
Why exactly do you want to remove it? I could add this on our list since it is becoming popular to remove it.

I also tried the modification again, remove this code and the sidebar will be gone
https://www.screencast.com/t/l7s9yS02GQQc
https://www.screencast.com/t/2vQf7y2lv
If you don’t see it it is most likely browser cache. Force refresh the page a couple of times, also try with a new post.

Thanks

Hello montelin,

The code seems to be saved as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Mdhb5qnaZ3Ev and also, space does not appear. Clear all the caches and check the results.

Thanks for the message!

The website looks like this at the moment – http://prntscr.com/kqctg0

Seems the mobile theme is displayed on desktop. In previous similar cases this was caused by the caching used. We recommend the WP super cache if possible, this will not cause problems with the mobile theme plugin.
To quickly fix it deactivate either the mobile theme or the caching.

Hi,

It could have been the cache as i cannot see the problem now on your end. Please check again.

Thank you!

Hi Catalin,

I’ve definitely got the up to date version, with all remaining plugins being used (and up to date), and the cache is clear; but I’m still not getting the same result as you.

I’m not too sure what you mean by making sure the theme is up to date via FTP, as I don’t have it hosted locally, it’s hosted via WordPress, and I’m not sure how to do this.

Any additional ideas?

Thanks for any response,

Hello Jordan,

I have tested your Facebook ID on my side and everything seems to work as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/xwKjzTgY0wUa Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hey it’s same for me. This is one of the worst page builder I have use tbh. As after every update it starts giving a new problem & also says that page is not created with Tagdiv composer when I have only used Tagdiv till now

Hello,

TD composer is not working. I add the element “Title with Text”

And when I try to add content by clicking “Edit content” a popup opens for WP Editor

But the problem is when I enter the text in that box it doesn’t reflect on the website.

Please let me know what the issue is as I have deactivated all the plugins and deleted all cache and everything and still it’s the same

Thank you.

I removed codes from “editor-style.css” and “editor-style.less”.
After that i cleared all cache and Ctrl+Shift+R
But it doesn’t work, so i restored that 2 files as default again.
Thanks

Hi, yesterday I created my new site.
On desktop devices all works fine, but on mobile I can’t see the lastest published posts
I already installed the WP Super Cache and tagDiv Mobile Theme and it doesn’t solve the issue.

I’d like to get your help
Kind regards

Hi,

That would be block 25, it should look like this
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-25/
First I thought the image you used as featured was small, but for me the same image allow the creation of the proper thumbnail
http://prntscr.com/kq2nvw

Try to install the force regenerate plugin and regenerate that thumbnail
https://www.screencast.com/t/kmK1RlIC35D
Then check if the issue is solved, maybe clear the cache after regenerating.

I see this one currently – https://www.screencast.com/t/lxz41rmfiY

If the block is no longer in the page structure, why would it still appear there? Quite unusual.
A persistent cache would explain it, but you say it has been cleared fully. It should clear automatically when the page is modified or updated however.
Could be browser cache then, but that will not switch back and forth from the old block to the new one in the same browser.
I browsed the website for a while, returning to the homepage periodically. The old block is not to be seen so far.

Thank you Catalin,
I just recently upgraded to version: 9.0.1 via Envato. I do not know how to do this via FTP. I do not have any untested plugins and cleared all caches but the issue continues> the site in wp-admin is very very slow. Whenever I make a edit or add it takesabout 2 minutes to update.
Last week I spoke to GoDaddy who are hosting my site and they tell me my site is showing errors in wp_booster> php lin 903.
I am emailing you my login credential for the site and also for My CPanel @Godaddy.

The ADsense display on other websites accurately, On every page. except only my website using the newspaper theme. Can it be due to Yoast Plugin, Jetpack or Wp super cache? becos this is the only third party plugin i installed along with the default newspaper plugins. pls respond back as soon as possible.

N.S: I followed the documentations accurately on seeting the wp super cache plugin.
