Hello,

This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

Hi,

@mmedia
Tried it again, seems to work – https://www.screencast.com/t/EvRkhZBpQn
Does it not work after you enter it in the theme panel? Could be caching, clear the website cache, also force refresh the category page (Ctrl+Shift+R).

Hi Nick,

This problem happens due to your untested plugins. Please remove all of them, clear all the caches and check the results!

Hello mayaguez,

Please notice that the first steps for WordPress debugging is to have installed the latest version of the theme via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. Notice that if the theme was correctly installed according to our guide you should not encounter this problem. Please ensure that you have followed all of these steps and if the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) and Cpanel access so we can take a closer look at your setup page.

Thanks for your understanding!

1. With the new version of the theme and the social counter (version 9.0.1) you do not need the facebook app. Just insert your page ID as in the documentation and it will populate.
2. Using tagdiv composer, you can insert the social counter anywhere in the page while for the widget, you can only use it on the sidebar and footer (I guess). The social counter is an element in tagdiv composer.
3. I don’t think the social counter can do that. It populates automatically. Cache plugins might cache the page and also the counter, but it will increment once the cache is cleared.
(I don’t work here btw).

Hi there

My site was down today and I had to deactivate the cache because it seems that there is a large amount of autoloaded data within the database. These are queries to the DB that are called on every single page, regardless of whether the page actually needs them or not.

When combined with Object Cache, that can cause 502s on the site. Here is the table within the DB that is holding the bulk of the autoloaded data:
td_011_log

Is there a way to avoid that?

Thank you very much.

Checked theme requirements, everything looks good.

Created an htaccess file in public_html, adding the following to the file:
<IfModule mod_substitute.c>
SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M
</IfModule>

Added this to wp-config
define ( ‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, true );

TD Composer side bar comes up, but not main window. Error message in main window is:
Error at rows: 9(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content.

Deactivated all plugins except TD Composer, clearing caches, restarting now. Will update.

My employer’s site is live now, but in “live” mode, I can’t access TD Composer for Pages. The composer is inaccessible from the main Pages list, as well from the individual page. The links are there, but clicking on them produces a “This page isn’t working http://www.fullliving.com didn’t send any data. ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE” error message. I’ve cleared all caches, restarted system, tried in chrome and edge browsers, nothing. The composer code is visible in wordpress’ normal page editor, but I can’t get to TD Composer’s drag and drop interface.

This problem in print occurs only in chrome. I have been reported by several site visitors about this. This grid has a very large image and title spacing. I’ve cleared the cache and the problem persists only in chrome. Do you know how to solve it?

Sorted now. Template changes on the post page didn’t appear to be working but it was a cache issue ….. once cache is cleared, all was good !

Hi,

It seems a different favicon is delivered: https://www.screencast.com/t/Zy2PAIFi8N
If you changed it you will also have to clear the cache as it could be still held by caching.
Check your cache plugin, cdn or hosting side cache.
Plugin can also interfere so please also test this without plugins.

Thank you!

Hello,

Is it a secret your website URL? Why did you send me for more investigations? Before this, please make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.

hello.

A 500 error is usually fixed by increase your memory allocation:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Also please check your htaccess file and remove any rules you might have in there as they can also provide such errors.
Plugins can also interfere so please also test by disabling all plugins, clearing cache and cdn files.

Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!

Hello rahulroushan,

Unfortunately, this such an error happens due to your server or hosting provider and not from our theme. However, ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme install via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can take a closer look at your setup page. Also, provide there the link to this conversation so we can quickly identify you.

My home page is built with TD Composer, and occasionally I add a block to the sidebar or a newsletter form which I regularly change, it appears and saves, and can be seen on the home page.

But then some time later it’s not there anymore, and can then return randomly –

Any idea what can be causing it? I clear cache plugins and browser cache but this doesn’t fix – it then seems to appear and disappear randomly

Are there cache settings that may affect the TD Elements –

Thanks

Hello Zsolt Daranyi,

Try to make a new install to another sub-domain for testing via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the ad code, clear all the caches and check the results.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

I’ve tried removing the plugins and cache but still the same problem. You can see it at the very top of the page when chrome window is minimised to its smallest width. This is what I see on that and my phone: https://www.irelandbeforeyoudie.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/mobile-screen.png

Hello ib4ud2014,

Please remove all of the untested plugins if you are using something like this, clear all the caches and check the results. I have tested on my side and everything seems to work as expected.

Thanks for your understanding!

Also in reply to your statement “you might be facing a cache issue. Please remove any other cache besides wp super cache. Contact your host and ask about any hosting side cache as it will need to be disabled”.
I called GODaddy who is hosting my site.
1.They do not have any active side cache for the my site.
2.I reviewed my cache settings per instructions and they are per instructions.
3. GoDaddy check and they told me they see many “errors” coming from the Theme’s WP_Booster> PHP Line 903. What is this? Could you please check.
Thank Catalin!

Hi Catalin,
I followed your suggestion above, had someone made the adjustment but I still cannot insert a link into my Sidebar Ad. The ‘thinker’ just keeps going around and around still. I have also added the WP Super Cache and it does not seem to be helping. I am not sure how to install the theme via FTP as you mentioned. Do you have a link for that?
Thank you!

Hi,

First of all, I will recommend you to make a full backup to your database to avoid losing all of your data. After this, make a new install to another sub-domain for testing, for example, install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files, purge all CDN files if you are using any CDN system, clear all the caches and check the results. Check the theme’s requirements to be according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ All the data will be loaded to your database and you should not lose anything but to be safe, make a full backup before.
