Hello,

I just tested this on my end but I cannot see the issue. You must have an image optimization tool such as the photon setting of jetpcak. Here is an example of how the single image shows on our end:
https://www.screencast.com/t/NNqVXFuShGMhttps://www.screencast.com/t/cyNRS1Ky6mOW
Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, celar cache and reset cdn files. Then test the iamges again. Also redo any image optimization you might have in place.

Thank you!

Hello,

This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

I’ve searched the forums and see that this error has popped up before but none of the methods offered solves the problem.

On this page:

https://www.milevalue.com/best-current-credit-card-offer-100k-points-ends-in-two-days/

When clicking the featured image, I get the error: image #1 could not be loaded. I don’t want a lightbox at all.

I have:

1. Disabled the featured image lightbox
2. Disabled General Modal in the Theme Panel
3. Made sure that none of the images on the page have the lightbox featured enabled.
4. Flushed the cache

Yet there is still a lightbox when clicking any image.

None of the images are external.

There is a link in one image caption but that doesn’t explain why there’s a lightbox when I believe I’ve disabled all lightbox features.

Now the behavior is just weird. Clicking an image in the post causes the page to scroll up, a lightbox to load and the error message.

Hi Catalin

I have tried this exactly as you did and it just won’t work on the actual site. I have cleared cache and tested on mobile and it is still appearing as overlappingf off the page? Might I be able to send you logins somewhere secure so you could take a look to see if any other code is conflicting?

The More Stories box – this is what I mean: https://www.dropbox.com/s/avngx2v0hc8xmp0/MoreStoriesBox.png?dl=0

This box pops pout from the right hand side when I scroll down on the earliest news story (Iceland Can Change You) – however, the box doesn’t work/appear on the other two blog posts (e.g this one: http://thedarklordspeaks.com/rogue-one-film-looking/), and I can’t figure out why?

The other issue I have is try as I might, I cannot get people’s gravatars in comments on the blog posts to show up (including the author’s). I have the set gravatar correctly on the gravatar site, I have set it to show gravatars in wordpress settings, and I have even installed the WP User Avatar plugin and tried that way, and nothing seems to work! See here for example of commenyts under the blog piece: http://thedarklordspeaks.com/rogue-one-film-looking/

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks,
Lauren

Hello kleber,

This error happens due to your untested plugins which are used on your side. Try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the result. Also, if you have a Google Analytics code, check to be right added with the script tag.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello giahancute2013,

Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, if the problem is still there, please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP, clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results. Notice that the filter should work as properly.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello john low,

My advice in this regard is to make a new fresh install from scratch via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard. Also, install the latest version of the theme with only the required plugins which come bundled with the theme packet. Clear all your caches and check the results. In this case, the theme should work as properly. For more information about theme installing, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

Hello fxnewsman,

As you can see, our default theme work as properly, as you can see in our demo, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Sn96SaMf I suppose that your changes happen due to your untested plugins which are used on your website. Please try to revert the theme to the default state, remove all untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins.

Hello,

There could be an issue affecting your settings that prevents you from changing the theme panel settings.
please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
If this is not the case, then please try to increase your system status parameters like so: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Thank you!

Hello ramspeed,

First of all, check your Theme panel->Block Settings that your thumbs to be activated like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/I85cef0Ey4 Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Notice that our theme uses thumbs and the images are cut by these. So, if these are disabled, the theme will display the image at the original size and could look ugly. Clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

If you are still having problems after Bogdan’s suggestions it is, when you preview changes, what you are seeing when the changes isn’t showing is a cached copy from your browsers cache (Chrome, firefox etc), it caches the preview URL for your post. You need to clear your browser’s cache to see the changes. It can also come from your CDN’s cache like Cloudflare, if you are using Cloudflare temporarily place your website in development mode when editing posts to prevent the cache copy from your CDN. You might need to purge the CDN cache first.

Please only use wp super cache and these settings:https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
If you use a cdn server, please use these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/

Hi,

Rocket loader is recommended to be deactivated as this guide states: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
As for the mobile theme issues using wp super cache, please use this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-problems-3/

Thank you!

Hello orlando,

1)Please keep in mind that the WP Rocket is an untested plugin and over time it has proven to be a problematic plugin and therefore, we do not recommend using this to our theme because you can damage it, sorry! The Speed Booster is an optional plugin, and it works only with the tested plugins. If you use other plugins, it will be automatically disabled, and I suggest to check this first in System Status. However there is a workaround to make it also work with other plugins, you can read more here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/speed-booster-not-compatible-with-vaultpress/

2)Our recommended caching plugin is WP Super Cache. For more information about it, you should consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

3)Unfortunately, I do not exactly understand what you mean, sorry! Notice that you can use Google Fonts with our theme from Theme panel, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/SJSQTTMkOFS9 For more information about theme fonts, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
If is not what you mean or if yu need more assistance in this regard, please provide more details about what you want to achieve, provide some useful screenshots for a better understanding and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

Hi,

I have inspected your website and I see nothing wrong with the featured images, they are displaying properly both on homepage and single post page at the moment – https://www.screencast.com/t/RIynylzJUhttps://www.screencast.com/t/TImsOrHA2XJhttps://www.screencast.com/t/7OEVW8yIQOhttps://www.screencast.com/t/L9a9i04fh
Make sure that in Theme panel->Post settings you have enabled featured images – https://www.screencast.com/t/Ui9Lgui5sMCm If you still experience problems try to disable all plugins except Visual Composer and also clear your cache. Please correct me if I misunderstood the problem

Thanks

Hi,

I still have the problem. I have the ajax post views option, like in the screencast screenshot you send.
I have just updated the theme to the lastest version. Like you said I have disabled all the plugins except visual composer, cleared the cache. (I don’t use a CDN so I can’t reset them). I have also updated wordpress to the latest version.

Still not solution for it. Any more ideas how I can solve this?

Hi,
I recently moved my website to WPengine hosting. Site load time decreased significally without the need of caching plugin however there is an issue with the mobile theme…it is so good to leave disabled…
Desktop users are served mobile version and mobile users are served desktop version.

Talking with WPengine support, we tried many ways, starting by excluding the mobile plugin from cache but it didn´t work.
At the end, Wpengine support are asking wether there is/are sprecial file/es and cookies to be excluded from caching.

Any Idea?

I think this could be causes by a cache on Facebook. Try changing some word on URL(slug) and in the post name. After that, try tô share again. I recommend you installing the WordPress plugin, to have those informations indexes correctly.

Hi,

Go to Newspaper>Theme Panel>Post Settings> turn “show tags” to off.
Delete your cache and cdn files if you use them to display changes on the post.

Hope this helps
