Hi,
Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Also remove any custom code you may have added to the logo. You will have to check any image customization and compression to see if image quality is not affected by it. Also remove any image features of jetpack such as photon. Try to bring the theme as close to default as possible because our theme does not make images blurry or increase their size. There is something on your end affecting the logo and you need to identify what it is.
Thank you!
Hello almilner05,
Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme with the latest version of required plugins -> Visual Composer 4.12.1 and Social Counter 4.1. Clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results. Also, if your problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Provide there the link of this topic so we can easily identify you.
Thanks.
Hello Ravnek,
The right theme behaviour with Alphabetical sort order to display the posts from A to Z. Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and required plugins which come bundled with it. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please disable all of them and install only those come bundled with theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. Clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results. All of the available sort orders are fully tested with the theme and seems to work as expected and until now, we do not have encountered any bad reports in this regard.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Ok,
Did you insatal this version of the mobile theme? You did not specify iof you did. This fixed it for most users
http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/td-mobile-plugin.zip
Let us know if you still have the issue after you install it.
Thanks.
Hi,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and rest cdn files. This is most likely a plugin issue. If you use wordfence, please set the firewall on learning mode.
Thank you!
Hi
Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge the cdn if you’re using then test the site again.
Let us know how it goes and if the problem persist please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your login credentials and we will inspect this issue as soon as possible, also include a link to this topic.
Thanks!
Hi,
Our theme was built to work with the standaqrd adsense code. Since then, adsense released a whole bunch of new ads we did not have the chance to implement. They can work but they require something extra. Please read this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/page-level-ads-problems/
As for your other ad problems, please try to disable all plugins except visual composer. clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then test ads again. As an alternative, try to use adrotate to eliminate the theme ad system and see if the ads run with a plugin and not the theme system so we can rule out any theme related issue.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please switch to a wp default theme and use the same implementation and see if that works. Our theme does not change the embed method from wp. You can simply place the youtube url (not iframe) in the post content even in visual mode and WP should grab the video and embed it like so:
http://screencast.com/t/y0WQmdMP That was a youtube video url pasted inside the post in visual mode. It works on the front-end as well.
Please also try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it as it could also be a plugin conflict
Thank you!
thanks for your quick reply, B! i understand i did something that isn’t supported, but i tried to undo it and i didn’t work. Even when i delete the code from the field and disable display on all devices the error is stil there. it’s a pity that such a small mistake screws up the design of a whole theme! If you could give me any tip on how to try and get rid of that error box it would be much appreciated.
The code that i had pasted on the article bottom ad field was something like this
” <script src=’https://cdn.html5maker.com/embed.js?id=e0ab53c6fe3132d38fdc657beaae80fb9b7057281dcd&responsive=1&width=728&height=90&h5mTag=html5maker’></script> ”
thanks!
Hi Justin,
1) I’m not sure why you say wp super cache is no longer available. You can download it from here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-super-cache/
Nothings has changed
2) It can be a plugin conflict but that is not a theme related error. It is a wordpress file that is mentioned in the error message. The theme is under wp-content/theme/newspaper/ not in wp-includes. Please make sure your wordpress install is up and running before installing the theme.
Plugins can also be a reason for it so test it without plugins by disabling all of them except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.
Thank you!
Hi,
I have checked your site but did not see any responsiveness problem at the moment.
If you do have further issues, please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Some untested plugins create issues with our theme and break the layout whether you need the plugin or not. Every premium theme has this issue. Here is a list of tested and approved plugins: http://screencast.com/t/p5EzWXkqo5jY
Thank you!
Hello apollosk,
If you are using the CDN service and the rocket loader module is active and it could cause issues of the theme functionality. It is specified also in the CloudFlare tutorial – https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Please try to disable it, clear all your caches and purge your CDN files and see how it goes.
Also, you could set the CDN service in development mode(so it will not be active for few hours) or disable it and see if the issue persist. Please disable the Rocket Loader like it is specified in the CloudFlare tutorial, even it is not the cause of this issue, it could create other problems for the theme’s functionality.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi
Please make sure that you update thew theme according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ Make sure that you do a clean update and best way to do it is via ftp: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/ Also after the update is completed clear all caches, purge the cdn files if you’re using then test the site again.
Thanks!
Hi,
I am also unable to add layout elements using Visual Composer. I currently have Visual Composer as the only plugin. I also cleared the cache. I do not use any CDN files.
Amanda
You want to check this:

I’m still stuck my friend..I contacted the theme’s staff and given them wp-admin and ftp access..Hopefully they’ll sort it out..
Thanks for your help.
I have some issues with some files on my site. It is making it load very slowly even after adding a CDN. Here is a list of issues found on GTMetrix. The google font is taking nearly 3 secs to load and i have no clue where that is based or how to fix it aswell. Please help!
Some images are taking a few secs to load aswell even with a CDN and being optimized.

Hello,
Please use the official guide to set up the counter: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
And after you set up everything,m make sure you allow it a bit of time as it;s not a live count and it is affected by cache. It helps to clear all caches and reset cdn files if you use it.
Thank you!
Hi,
I have tested your ID on my testing platform and it seems to display fine: http://screencast.com/t/Htk5qVfieKb
Please try to disable all plugins except visual compose, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then test the Instagram widget again. If you still have trouble with this, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and investigate the issue.
Thank you!
Hi,
There was a conflict between Mobile theme plugin and SEO By Yoast plugin. Try to delete the mobile theme plugin and install this version: http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/td-mobile-plugin.zip clear all caches then test the site again.
Thanks!
Hello,
With such a big ;list of plugins it could be any one of them conflicting with another. Please try this. Disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn file if you use it. Then test again to see if the symbols are still there. I have checked your site but could not see any strange symbols. If they are still there without plugins please provide a screenshot so we know where to look.
Thank you!
Hello fathummus,
I have inspected your website and I saw that you have some irregularities with it, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/auLzX0gRVl. So, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, you can try to disable the lazy load feature. Clear all your caches, purge CDN if you are using the CDN system and check the results. I noticed that you are using the RTL mode which is not tested with our theme and which may produce a lot of unknown issues. Please notice that we cannot provide support for RTL mode because this is not included in our support policy, as you can see here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello nano2408,
This strange behaviour maybe happens due if you have some untested plugins which interact with the theme code and cause a lot of unknown issues. Also, please try to remove all of them and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. To be safe, please try to clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system, clear server caches (if you do not have any access to delete this, please request this task to your hosting provider) and then check the results. Please notice that our mobile theme is fully tested with our latest version of the theme and seems to work as expected by now and we have not encountered any issues in this regard.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer. clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. This is most likely a plugin conflict affecting the visual composer page builder.
Let us know if you still have trouble with it afterwards.
Thank you!
Hi,
Did you check your posts after you posted them?
You only created 3 topics including this one. Here are the other 2:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/my-sidebar-wont-stay-fixed/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/why-arent-my-ads-showing-up-properly/
Please double check before making any accusations.
Your issues are the same as in your previous topic. you have plugin conflicts affecting the theme JS and breaking theme elements. Disable all plugins except visual composer. clear cache and reset cdn files and then check again. Also check any customization in your child theme or js optimization you may have in place that can break the theme js.
Thank you!
Hi,
The theme does indeed ad an extra OG tag. http://screencast.com/t/K0vUhy7fC
You can try to delete it but I cannot guarantee it will fix FB’s image problem.
Try to use this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/facebook-share/ and also try without plugins. Disable all of them except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
