Unfortunately, not quite so simple, there is a tutorial (https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/), but really much, you get out unfortunately not. You can do a lot with Cloudflare, but only with the Pro version and of course if you optimize WpRocket a little bit (https://www.andraware.com/wp-rocket-for-newspaper-theme/)
If it’s your own server, you can get a lot out of it with Nginx and Redis in conjunction with W3C Cache. And of course in which one throws for example some from the head (rds etc.)
Dear TagDiv support,
As of the 1st of August we are using Newspaper on the website op Smart Options at smartoptions.io. The theme is great and the functionality is overwhelming so we are still finding out new things and so on.
One thing we noticed however is that the rankings on keywords in Google dropped significantly compared to our previous theme which was Engine by IndustrialThemes. We also noticed that the CWV’s from Google aren’t doing much better while we expected that to be the case, especially on mobile.
We are looking for tips on how to improve the overall speed on our website and how to get our ranking with Google backup.
We are using Yoast SEO, WP Rocket, WordFence and Cloudflare for our website if that’s any help.

We are using the Single Post Comment Element within our Single Post Content Cloud Template and would like to change the following:
1. LEAVE A COMMENT – Change this to START YOUR CONVERSATION in all Caps
2. Where the Number of comments is displayed in the Block Header as “2 COMMENTS”, we’d like to eliminate the Count and change the word COMMENTS to CONVERSATIONS

I’m using cloud templates, Tagdiv composer and newspaper font icons. I’m not using multipurpose icons anywhere in my website but page speed insights shows multi purpose icons loading

Hi – here are the plugins I have. It’s odd because up to oh a week or so ago I didn’t have this issue. I don’t know if an update on some plug-in caused an issue or not.

1. Yes, it seems that you use default templates, instead of the cloud templates. You need to assign a cloud template and use the CPT on them: https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/
We recommend to use cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

2. You need to use custom taxonomies templates and not the simple categories templates.

I activated it with newspaper> plugins> tagdiv cloud library. Then I checked that it is active in the ‘plugins’ section. However the tagdiv cloud library is not displayed. What should I do? Please help.

I made a new Custom Post Type (CPT) called “letters”

I have this page to show all the posts. I made the page using the Cloud Templates. I used “Duplicate” from an the existing Category template that I am using in my website, and then modified it as needed. See here:

When I click on a post link, it takes me this (link here) to display the post:

Questions:
1: What is this “https://arcata1.com/letters/lee-dedini-april-25-2022/” page? That is, what is it called and where do I go to edit it?
It does not seem to be any of the Single Templates that are shown. (Shown for me are Smart List Templates 1, 3, 6, plus some others.
2: How were the CPT posts linked to this page? (https://arcata1.com/category/gateway-plan/community/letters-comments/)
It seems to have been done automatically — which is great.
But I want to have the CPT posts on another Category page too. I built the page, using the same techniques in creating a Category Template but the CPT posts are not displayed on it.
3: In the tutorials / on-line manual on Custom Post Types, it shows the TagDiv Cloud Template page as having a new “box” for CPT. My screen does not show that.
I am using “CPT UI” as a plug-in, as this is what you recommend on this Forum.

Sorry for opening this again. But since it’s related, I believe it’s better for me to continue using this forum post:
Problem:
I’ve created a taxonomy (https://imgur.com/qY56fFD). But after associating a cloud template to it, I noticed that when I try to edit the template, there are no CPT shortcodes (https://imgur.com/undefined). For example I would like to use the “Single External Shortcode” in order to display the fields I’ve created for the taxonomies (https://imgur.com/undefined).
So my idea here is just to show at the page the custom field I’ve created and then style it.
Another question:
Is it possible for me to show in the taxonomy, other posts related to the specific taxonomy? In my case, I’am using the taxonomy “Developer”. I would like to show all the games (CPT) and news (Defult wordpress category) associated with that taxonomy. If this is possible, how can I achive it? Can you guide me, please?
My goal would be (with real examples from my website:
1 – Game: https://gamingnovato.com/games/rogue-ai-simulator/
2- Developer: https://gamingnovato.com/developer/nerdook-productions/
3 – I want to show on “Developer”, all the news and games associated with it.
I could use the filter option that I found on some of the tagdiv composer blocks, to filter for example by tag, but this manual work is not viable on my case. Is there a more “global” solution for what I’am trying to achieve?
You have set there the home as homepage and the News as posts page (blog), and yes the settings are ok. but Like I said, the posts page (blog) can be edited only with the theme panel options. As an work around you can remove the news page from posts page, then adjust it with the tagDiv Composer and set it as a normal page blog in menu.
Like I said the Newsmag do not have cloud templates, so the categories can be adjusted only with the theme panel settings.
For widget question:

Hello, In the Mobile template, The pages of the menu don’t work.
I import from the cloud the special template to the Contact page (about us, Prices list page), after I edit the mobile pages. I create the menu for the Mobile. So the edit pages Mobile template don’t appear… Thanks for your help.

I have the footer set as global but the issue still exits and I have checked in multiple browsers.
When i view the cloud template for the effected pages in Tag Div composer they look correct.

I believe that this topic was set in Newspaper and only now has been move in Newsmag forum.
Those 2 themes has the same standard templates layout, but the Newspaper is more powerful providing more customizations.
Newsmag theme is a simple and easy to customize theme using the theme panel settings for the website and the theme builder for pages.
Only in tagDiv Cloud Library you can assign cloud templates, for Newsmag theme you can use only the settings from the theme panel to edit the categories -> https://i.imgur.com/wGKrm8T.png

I have an issue when using the cloud footer template.
The footer appears correctly when viewing the home page but on all other pages the footer losses its formatting and displays all in one column to the left of the page.
When I de-select the cloud footer template the footer appears correctly on all pages.
Any ideas ?

I believe that you are referring to this element -> https://i.imgur.com/1Z4KA0V.jpg if is so, then you can displayed those extra elements only by editing the code for the element -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/shortcodes/td_block_authors.php
For Author template, you can use a cloud template from the tagDiv Cloud Library, those can be edited using tagDiv Composer and you can make it as you want. Also if you want you can create an individual author template per each author.

You can remove the comment section from Single Post Template, edit with tagDiv Composer => https://www.screencast.com/t/4VoyAOlzgd6, select the element Single Post Comments and with right-click you can delete or selecting the element and with drag & drop place into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page.

I am a user of Avada theme. when I’ve used that theme, I used ‘accordion’ or ‘toggle’ item useful.(avada calls that as a ‘Toggles Element’.)
But, I think I may not find ‘accordion’ item in Newspaper theme.
So, I just wonder I can use this kind of item in Newspaper theme.
