Hello
Can’t seem to locate where I would change “ABOUT US” or “FOLLOW US” in Footer area to “ABOUT ME” or “FOLLOW ME”. I have tried in TD composer and theme editor and panels to see where this was changeable and have had no luck. I’m sure it’s something simple I”m missing. Thanks.

Guys? Are you serious?

After another update I have the same issue?

I will write again:

The problem is in bad path to ads.php

/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/header/

Some of the header-style-*.php files have a path header/ads.php instead of just ads.php

Hi Simon,

We had the same problem, I checked all the parameters and we had all those things done properly, and then I disabled all our plugins, also I disabled mod_security from the Security section of C-panel, but we still can’t edit with the tag composer.
Can you give me some other advices?

Thanks.

Can you give me some other advices? is there any possibility that TagDiv support group can audit our blog and see why is this happening?
Thanks

Since I don’t think that all td-composer plug in files are updated every time they are updated, it would be great to know which files have changed.

This would be great for those who have made changes to some files that were previously in the folder of the theme.

Thanks

Hi. I’ve just bought the theme today.
I want to edit an imported homepage with the tagDiv composer, but when I click the button it displays a grey page with the message “Situl se confruntă cu dificultăți tehnice. Pentru instrucțiuni, te rog verifică emailurile primite de administratorul sitului.”
The hosting provider says they cannot modify the required parameters (max_execution_time, suhosin.post.max_vars, suhosin.request.max_vars).

Which one of these parameteres triggers that error? Maybe I can negociate with the hosting provider.
Is there no other option than to buy a more expensive hosting package or move everything to another provider?

Thank you.

Hi,

The mobile theme is a plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se

Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/

Also for the 3 blocks, you’ll need to have set same feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4

If you do not have the featured category, you’ll need to add some posts in feature category -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ if you do not have this category you can create it, just make sure that you set the category name to be
Featured

Let me know if you have more questions!

Is there a way to edit the code of the button all together to always include a rel=nofollow attribute? I use the square button if that makes a difference. I only use the buttons when leading to an affiliate link and would love to have this always be the case. I don’t want ALL my links to be nofollow, just the affiliate. I have two different sites using your theme and one of them isn’t on the version with the tagdiv composer yet so I can’t use your suggestion above on one of them.

Hi,

I could give you a code to remove that space, it will be like this
http://prntscr.com/nme210
You can enter it in the theme panel->custom code->CSS section

.td-header-style-11 .td-logo-wrap-full {
min-height: 90px;
line-height: 90px;
}
.td-header-style-11 .td-logo-wrap-full .td-logo {
line-height: 90px;
}

The shadow you mention is actually an image, the color can’t be changed for it. How exactly would you like it to be? I could try and modify it’s size. Let me know.

You could also check out some cloud header templates
https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Headers
These can be edited with the tagDiv composer and customized. You can import each one with the cloud library plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Or you can build your own header starting from a blank template
http://prntscr.com/nme4cchttp://prntscr.com/nme4h6

The predefined header styles don’t have any settings, the cloud headers offer more flexibility.

Thanks

Hello !

Elementor is a page builder plugin like tagDiv Composer. You should look into your plugins tab and disable it and you will not see it in the page editor.

Thank you !

Hi,

Please check this topic about How can I view the mobile version of a webpage in Google Chrome for Desktop?

If you are no using the mobile theme plugin you can use flex blocks and you can chose the layout for each device ( desktop, iPad, mobile ).

Hi,

If you want to customize the Category pages, you need to create a Category Cloud Template with TD Composer and apply it from your desired category, which allows you to customize as you wish, using the TD Composer.

Thank you!

Hi Calin

Thanks, but we are already running an Active tagDiv Composer plug-in.

Could you answer the question I posted about finding someone who can install the new theme version and eliminate any errors that reveal themselves as a result? Who provides this service please? This is a problem for us that we are writing to the forum to resolve after following all instructions provided by you. We need hands on support and our site ready to work for us. What technical solution can you provide or direct us to? Enough is enough. Something is broken and we can’t find out what. We have been running fine for 1, 1/2 years. Something is not right today.

Please direct us to the appropriate hands-on technical support, paid if necessary.

Thank you!

Regards, Antoon

Hi,

Unfortunately the content from author template is different from the one that is in page, if you’ll try to edit the page with template content corm cloud you’ll get some errors, also is possible to do not work properly because is was not build to work in this way, sorry!

If you like that template the best way will be to create it with tagDiv Compose.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,

You need to edit the page with tagDiv Composer and set the loop element ( this will show the lastest post ) -> https://www.screencast.com/t/XiriBKeF

Please check this topic about how to increase the article width -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/increase-the-width-of-the-articles/

Hi,

The Newspaper theme is compatible with WordPress 5.2 , also we recommend to use tagDiv Composer ( the theme builder ).

Unfortunately, the Elementor plugin has not been tested with our theme and therefore, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with the theme, sorry! Also, we cannot provide support for untested plugins.
This is our list with tested plugins with our theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/cmPkh9jba4sZ

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,

If I understand correctly you want to change the background color only on homepage, if is so you can set the background color using the tagDiv Composer, edit the page, and click on CONTENT -> https://www.screencast.com/t/XfYpzA8E5R8 -> https://www.screencast.com/t/bdeQSUzK or using custom css -> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-create-custom-code-in-newspaper-theme/
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/MDYXi8B0
.home .td-main-content-wrap {
background-color: #efcfcf;
}

Hello !

If you’re planning on going for a long time with our products the best option will be to start learning and use tagDiv Composer since it was created by us for our theme. If not then you can use WP Bakery but we cannot confirm that all the functions will work 100%.

You can use WP Bakery but with time it won’t get much more options for it. So our choice will still remain the tagDiv Composer.

Thank you !

Hi,

This issue will be fixed in the next theme update, sorry for the inconvenience.

The file my colleague mentions is now in the tagDiv composer plugin here
http://prntscr.com/nmbb7q
After you modify it it should look like this – http://prntscr.com/nmbbjf

I can also provide the modified line of code here, so you can replace the existing one
http://prntscr.com/nmbc04

$td_logo_text = stripslashes(td_util::get_option('tds_logo_text'));

Thanks

Hi,

I saw that specified in the guide, glad it works. The theme panel font settings will not apply if a more specific setting is used for the block itself. Fonts set in the block settings style tab – http://prntscr.com/nmaxek will override the theme panel settings. this is works currently.

So I believe the reason why your desired font set in the theme panel is not applying, is because there is a font set in the composerhttp://prntscr.com/nmaxqn
Edit the page with the composer and check if that is the case, set the font options to default and the theme panel font should apply.

Please let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Hi,

In order to add some custom php code in post , you need to edit the loop-single-n, n is for the number of the template that you are using, for example if you are using post template 1 you need to go in plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/single/loop-single-1.php
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/eCPWKrIl2

This settings will apply on responsive version too, but if you use mobile theme you’ll need to make this changes in plugins/td-composer/mobile/single.php too.

Hope this will help you!
Thanks.

Hi,

If you want to have more control over blocks, you can use flex blocks -> https://tagdiv.com/discover-flex-blocks-customization/
tagDiv Composer: Flex Block Elements -> https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-flex-block-elements/
