Hi tagDiv Team, Your theme is perfect and love every update you guys are giving.
also have a small question to ask, is there anyway to put a search option or a sort, filter option for “team members” on tag div composer. i have a requirement to put 500 team members in one page.
IF not at least a possible workaround suggestion for that please.
Hi there, tagDiv boys and girls !
And first of all, I’d like to say that it’s been two years now since my first use of the Newspaper theme, and everything is working like a charm so far.
I think it’s important to recognize the highly qualitative and greatly satisfying job when it exists, and thank the people behind the scene who working hard to reach that level of requirements.
So, thank you. 🙂
I’m reaching you today for something that looks simple said like that, but actually isn’t (I guess like most requests people are asking) :
– In fact, I’d like my Homepage post block on my homepage to be fully clickable (like the Big Grid Full 1).
It doesn’t matter if the Homepage post block becomes clickable everywhere else on my website, since I can use the css pointer-events trick to bypass it.
I guess it’s “just” an html copy-paste matter, but what to copy and where to past is my question.
– Lastly, how can I make the Big Grid Full blocks go true fullwidth ? I didn’t find any way in hell to do so yet.
Even with the force content stretching function of WPBakery (I know I should use tagDiv composer, but hey, old habits die hard), every blocks are boxed.
By the way, I use the same template (almost) everywhere : td-post-template-8-box. Is there a causality link ?
Well, I think it’s enough for the day.
Thank you very much in advance for your feedback, and thanks again for everything. 🙂
Hello Catalin
i have check the documentation that you mentioned and everything is fine
Any other way to make visual composer to work ?
Editing with TD Composer is no longer responding to me, i’ve tried editing the block titles without success.
Please why is it so and how can this be rectified?
after installing the theme, additional plugins were added Revolution Slider and WPBakery Page Bulder.
plugins were taken from the archive with the theme, now the plugins require activation. how to do it???
on the theme management page, in the plugins tab Revolution Slider, tagDiv Mobile Theme, Visual Composer – with status OPTIONAL
ok so I checked and for some reason, my php was set to ea-php70 – After, moving it down to ea-php56 the photo issue was resolved along with a lot of the errors posted above… But 1
In the Requirement Page, you linked me it suggests having php of 52 or greater. But there is a lot of php issues with php70 – So perhaps change that 😀
I still have the TagDiv Composer not working and this Footer Issue. This is the only fatal error left after the php change:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_detect_encoding() in /home/cleanthe/public_html/New/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_css_res_compiler.php on line 54

Hey,
As Tagdiv composer is not for post so can I use Visual Composer for it?
Also as you mentioned both should not work together so if I disable the tagdiv will it effect the pages that I have created using it?
Please suggest the best way so website is not affected.
Thank you 🙂
Hi,
There could be problems if you use both composers at the same time, this is highly not recommended. Use one only and deactivate the other. It can cause problems with the pages.
Also I don’t know how exactly you edit posts with the tagDiv composer, it can only be used for pages at the moment.
However both composers should appear as an option to edit pages
– https://www.screencast.com/t/kvA3rfMFXTHl
Please check the theme system status parameters
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Insufficient resources can cause problems.
Thanks
Hi,
So when the tagDiv composer plugin is active you cannot access you post pages. Now that is unusual. From what I know that could be caused by security plugins configurations, or server security or firewall, such as mentioned here
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-403-forbidden-error-in-wordpress/
The topic mentions other possible causes, like other plugins.
Check with your hosting as well, ask them to check error logs, and what exactly happens when you activate the composer plugin causing problems accessing pages on the website. Let us know the results.
Also check the theme requirements, check the theme system status panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Hello sfarazali,
1)The background image is added from the Theme panel and it will be applied to the whole website. Please check here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/qVJXhNSpp
2)You can try using the Visual Composer and add the Tabs element.
3)You should try using such custom CSS code. Follow the next useful guide to create your own custom CSS code -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
Thanks.
Ola guys!
After I update the newspapper theme, I do not see tag div composer when editing the post. For site editing I use WPBakery page builder + MPC addons for WPB. I edit posts using TDC.
Please help!
Hi,
1. Some Visual composer elements will not display properly when the tagDiv composer plugin is also active. Theme provided elements such as blocks and grids will not be affected when both page builders are active but other elements can be.
This composer will automatically be activated when the theme is installed or updated (since version 8.0). Deactivate it and your Visual composer elements will look the same as before.
2. If you should decide to use the tagDiv composer and multi-purpose plugin, then all your pages will have to be recreated with it. There are buttons in the tagDiv composer, these can be used in pages
– https://www.screencast.com/t/PtFNHutlFA4
A button could be used in a post sidebar as an widget, try it like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/8Iiie4hG
We plan to add a considerable amount of new options in coming updates, for the tagDiv composer.
Thanks
Hi,
Thank you very much for your appreciation of theme, there are many more new features coming in future updates.
1. That would be the text padding option, it will allow you to style the content just like in the demo
– https://www.screencast.com/t/rm93vtIp
2. You can create new sliders with the revolution plugin, note that this is a highly complex plugin. The documentation is here
– https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/slider-revolution-documentation/
We provide some demo sliders in the theme package
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos/
So all the sliders that can be seen in the theme demos can be imported on your website
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/select_demo_newspaper
3. In pages you can place ad boxes in any location you want, with the composer. In posts there are currently three ads available
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/
More ad capabilities might be added in the future.
4. The theme will display the ads if Google Adsense is serving them. So if your Adsense account is activated and there are no problems, the ads should appear
– https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/76228?hl=en
– https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/9724?hl=en
Try the troubleshooter, you might identify the problem
– https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/1208336?hl=en
Thanks
Hi,
Each elements placed in the page with page builders contains HTML code. A higher the number of composer elements means there will be more HTML code. Use less elements in the page and more text and check again.
Hi,
Demos can be installed without content as well
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
This will only import theme panel settings and demo design, a demo homepage will not be included in this case. You can build a homepage with the tagDiv composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
But note that the demo custom design will only apply in the homepage if the same elements are used. Same grids, blocks etc as the demo. Changing themes would require testing, to ensure everything is set properly and works fully.
It is recommended to place the website in maintenance mode when doing this, or creating local clones of the live website and begin there by applying the new theme and testing.
The theme requirement would be these
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Theme documentation is here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/
Theme live demo here, check the Features menu item
– http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Theme demos preview here

When I deactive [tagDiv Composer], I can access the posts.
On the other hand, the home page layout was corrupted and the page showed a lot of tag like “[/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″]“.
Any advise??
Hi,
There is only one header ad spot, it may be displayed differently depending on the header style
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
In pages you can place ad boxes, with the composer. With these ad boxes you can display ads in the location you want within the page.
If you would like two ads to be displayed on very page, post, category, etc that is not possible by a theme option. There is only one header ad spot. Maybe that would be possible with an ad inserting plugin that would work with the theme and also have positioning capabilities.
Hello,
I have inspected your website on desktop and the Contact page seems to work as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/3QZJCoPR2Wxv I did not get any error inside it. On mobile, the Contact page is blank because you are using the Mobile Theme plugin which does not recognize the TD Composer shortcodes but only the simple text added in the Mobile Section. You should disable this plugin if you want to achieve the same results on mobile. For more information about this plugin, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks for your understanding!
Try deactivating all plugins as a quick test, leave only theme plugins active. Also deactivate the composer plugin and reinstall it from the theme plugins panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/uIIQ0A5Dyx
Check if this has any effect. Try with a different browser as well (clear browser caches). If there is still a problem, we could take a look. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, FTP and also cPanel access if possible. Include a link to this topic in the email.
I use for testing even an older version of XAMPP with PHP 5.5.19, with these recommended parameters
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Tried the theme panel in Chrome and also Firefox (latest browser versions) there are nor problems with it. It would be unusual that the problem is only happening in Chrome. There was an issue caused by Chrome with the tagDiv composer, a flickering while editing the page. This was fixed however in the latest theme version of the tagDiv composer.
Try clearing the browser cache, check if that has any effect. If it does not, check if there are any errors in the browser inspector console when accessing the ads section

Hello caseystubbs,
I have checked your setup page and I saw that you are using the Page Builder+Latest Articles+Pagination as page template which comes automatically by default with the latest articles module which cannot be editable from TD Composer and that’s why your page is blank when you try to customize it with TD COmposer. Any element which you will be added will be placed above of this section. Cannot you use the TD Composer and the elements cannot be drag and dropped? Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme (Newsmag 4.3), the latest version of WordPress and required plugins, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, very important is to check your system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ If the problem is still there after these changes, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) and full FTP access so we can take a closer look at your setup page. Provide there the link to this conversation so we can quickly identify you.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
How to remove style.css files from speedbooster plugin?
I edited speedbooster and removed these lines from td-speed-booster.php
`/**

$this->move_style_to_footer_queue('bbp-default-bbpress'); //bbpress old

$this->move_style_to_footer_queue('genericons'); //still rev slider
//$this->move_style_to_footer_queue('js_composer_front');

After updating from v7.8.1 to the latest.
Question 1 –
I noticed all my old buttons that I had created with Visual Composer are now way over sized. I originally had them set at “Full Width” but now they take over both the Main content area as well as the Sidebar area.
Is there a quick fix for this? I just don’t want to manually update all 50+ pages that have one.
Question 2 –
Is there a way to create a button with TagDiv composer (3d Cube) that I can use in the sidebar widget area. I’m trying to create a “Join Our Telegram Channel” button. I can get it to work while creating it using TagDiv builder on a page, but I don’t know how to transfer it to a widget. I’ve copied the code and it pasted into a Text with Title block. But it seems that the one I create is much to large for the area and I can’t seem to get it to fit correctly.
Thanks
Hello,
How can I change the sidebar width from 1/3 + 2/3 (assuming it is on the left), to 1/4 + 3/4
I know I can do this inside each page. I know I can make a template out of a page and use it. But my question here is how to do it site wide not inside visual composer.
Thanks.
Hey Catalin,
How would I go about using those blocks to make my homepage resemble the homepage layout of the demo?
Under the newsmag theme panel, I do not see an option to edit the homepage with those blocks. When I am on the homepage of my website, I have also tried clicking on “edit with td composer”, however, the page is black when it loads, and I am unable to drag on drop any of the elements to edit the page. Screenshots have been attached.
This is my homepage

My result after I click TD composer
