You don’t need to buy or register the Visual Composer plugin provided with the theme as it is already licensed to the theme. But you cannot update it to it’s producer, only we can provide updates for it. It is also specified in the update guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
In the next theme version we will provide the latest version of Visual Composer available on the market.

First of all, I will thank you for your interests in our theme! So, if you want to switch your website from Elegant theme to Newspaper theme. Please notice that you will have to work on the composition of the site because it’s going to be some design differences and you will need to adjust some elements to look good. First of all, you should try to read all our documentation, understand every element from it and then try to apply all settings of the theme to your project. Yes, the TagDiv composer is our page builder but at the moment, this plugin is in development mode, and as soon as possible we will release the latest version of it.

1. Open your homepage in the Edit Page section like this – http://prntscr.com/djak7x
2. Scroll down to the Visual Composer editor and select the row containing the Big grid block – http://prntscr.com/djam0y
3. In Row Settings -> General -> Row Stretch, select Stretch row. Then, just bellow check the Full height row box – http://prntscr.com/djan7m
4. Go to Design Options, next to the General tab and choose the color you want for your background – http://prntscr.com/djao7x

Unfortunately, I cannot identify where exactly are placed the user icon. I have tried to submit to your website but did not see anything, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/FHZPOvLa6jl and nor of the second case, sorry! Please notice that all of these changes are not covered by our support and we cannot do your custom work, sorry! You should do it yourself because it represents additional customizations. Also, I noticed that you are using some untested plugins, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/XPrln6ntlM9 Notice that all of these can interact with the theme core and break the theme functionality. So, if you want to bring best results in theme, you should disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Your theme is fully customized and some functionality can be damaged by your untested plugins used by you and we cannot provide support for untested plugins, sorry!

Unfortunately the Visual Composer elements don’t have the same html structure and we could not customize theme like tagdiv blocks. So there is no option to have the same design sorry.

We use the wordpress default roles and capabilities for users – https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities So an editor for example should have access to other settings.
I suggest to disable all your plugins except Visual Composer and check again, may a plugin cause this issue.

So, I guess that here is talking about the Front End Editor option. Unfortunately, our theme does not work fine with Frontend editor and our developers have decided to exclude it from the theme. You can enable the Visual Composer frontend editor by removing this code from theme’s functions – http://screencast.com/t/1N4LB7WhP2jR but unfortunately, will not work properly if you have tag div blocks on the page.
Please notice that if you want to have a frontend editor, you can try using our additional plugin which is TagDiv Composer. At the moment, this plugin is in development mode and as soon as possible we will make it compatible with Newsmag.

Please disable all your plugins except Visual Composer, clear all the caches and try to refresh for few times one article and see how it goes.

2. Please switch to a wordpress default theme and see how it goes. It is the same behavior, the theme doesn’t alter the plugin’s option in this regard. The user see the Visual Composer option but it doesn’t have any options if he doesn’t have the specific capabilities – https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities
3. Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have a frontend interface to allow users to write articles. The theme uses wordpress functionality – https://codex.wordpress.org/Writing_Posts

Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset CDN files if you use it. Also, remove any custom code you may have added to the logo. You will have to check any image customization and compression to see if image quality is not affected by it. Also, remove any image features of jetpack such as the photon. Try to bring the theme as close to default as possible because our theme does not make images blurry or increase their size. There is something on your end affecting the logo and you need to identify what it is.

I have checked your website and I saw that you are using Politics demo and you want to have the style use in Wedding demo, right? please notice that each demo has own style created by our web designer and it is not a simple task to replicate the similar style for another demo, sorry! This task involves custom work and we cannot provide this type of services at the moment, sorry!
