Hello Ameet!
The error appears only if you are logged in as an admin. So, you should edit this page with the TagDiv Composer and add an image to every element in order for it to be displayed on your frontend.
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
Any other plugins that are not official were not tested with our theme, and we do not recommend them.
Thank you for understanding!
Hello,
I don’t recommend to using amp, because it is deprecated -> https://developer.bigcommerce.com/docs/storefront/wordpress/platform-integration/enabling-amp
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Also, please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-pages-not-working-well-with-this-theme/
Thank you!
Hello,
As Simcris mentioned, if you’re experiencing that problem, it could be due to an outdated theme version. The latest version for Newsmag is 5.4.2 with tagDiv Composer version 4.5 – https://i.imgur.com/pMvAaBs.png. Therefore, if you have the latest theme version installed, there shouldn’t be any issues.
Thank you!
Hello!
Check all these requirements for the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If you mean the default blog page, then you can add a new page and edit it with the TagDiv Composer(there is a blue button in Gutenberg).
We recommend to use cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:

A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, and send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link; paste it here.

Hello,
A shortcode can be inserted by using the element called “Column text” or “Text with title”. “Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open, and you can add some text/code/shortcode there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer and view the page to see the changes.
Thank you!
I have created a website today now menu hide. i am editing on tagdiv composer but not showing tagdiv composer edit option still loading. how can I get my old menu?
I am working on a staging with a pre built website from Newspaper. The content, inclusive rows and elements are shown correctly. But if I want to add a new row or add a new element in an empty row via drag and drop, it doesn’t work. what can be the reason or the mistake I make? I am working with Newspaper a long time and never had a problem like this.

Thank you for help!
Can you also support me with the header as well? It is set to stretch to 1400 pixels in the composer settings, but it doesn’t display correctly when previewing. Any insights or suggestions on how to solve this?
Thank you!
Hello @Kirti !
I suggest you to edit the page with the Tagdiv Composer(the button from Gutenberg) and add the content there. You can also import an already design for a contact, about page, etc. : https://app.screencast.com/Tj2AZzfHYKUxO
Thank you!
Hello Amit!
You can create a new page, edit it with the TagDiv Composer(the button from Gutenberg) and use some flex blocks with different category filter: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
An archive page is a great way to structure all of your content in an archive such as monthly, yearly or even a particular date range. It can be find in the Cloud Templates -> Date Templates.
Thank you!
Hello!
Edit the homepage with the TagDiv Composer and edit the mobile viewport. There is a modal popup: https://app.screencast.com/vOYpy9iiKbBEQ. You can delete it and add another element there.
Thank you!
Hi,
You can change the text from here wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_social_sharing.php -> https://i.imgur.com/UjdlgV2.png
Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately, we don’t know how this plugin works.
If the plugin offers a shortcode, then you can add it to the column text.

Hello Roger!
This is an old demo, and the CSS code for that block, which has an extra class (if you check in the tagdiv Composer in the element settings), can be found in the theme files td-composer\legacy\Newspaper\includes\demos\blog_fitness.
Thank you!
Hello everyone,
I’m encountering an issue where Google Fonts aren’t displaying correctly when I preview the website, although everything looks fine when viewed in the composer. Additionally, the header stretch feature is not functioning properly during preview. Has anyone faced a similar problem or has any advice on how to resolve this?
P.S. I’m using Siteground’s staging environment for my work. Could this be contributing to the issue? Also, performing a hard reload seems to fix the titles temporarily, but the font style for article meta information still appears incorrect.
Thanks!
How do I “Check in the Tagdiv Composer” for the header?
This is in the header, not in the front page.
I am using the standard Tagdiv “Style1” header.
If there is a way to edit that header, I don’t know how to do it.
Hello @newsblaze!
Check in the TagDiv Composer and disable the H1. For example, H1 from logo(header, footer, mobile, sticky): https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/6-h1-tags-on-front-page-bing-have-deindexed-my-site/
Thank you!
Hello Roger!
I can’t see the category tag on the images in this demo. https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_fitness_pro/
There are some settings that need to be changed in the tagdiv composer, or check if there is a CSS code element there that modifies the block.
You can hide that category tag like this: https://app.screencast.com/lw2tEfVgPmdwB
Thank you!
Hello @peerblue!
1. Try to enable this feature: https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles/ on your homepage.
So, you won’t have duplicate posts.
Edit the single template with the TagDiv Composer, check if there are two elements that display the featured image, and delete one.
Make sure you set the featured image for your posts in the right-side settings in the Gutenberg and not in the content. Please follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
2. That’s why you should set the featured image correctly in the right place, as explained above.
3. Yes. Please re-check!
Thank you!
Hello @gezimag!
If you check any element in the tagdiv composer, then you can see there is an option for an extra class: https://app.screencast.com/TCfMyzgF1vTZ1?conversation=jxeGZ8fZnLDvCjz4z8raDp
Thank you!
Hello!
However, page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view.
Unfortunately, we can help you only with some advices.
Please note that page speed or optimization is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
Our developers are aware of this issue and try to synthesize the composer, which is big, and fix the major problems of the theme and speed.
I recommend you use fewer features on the page, so the requests will be less as well.
Thank you!
Hello,
I recommend doing the pages using the tagdiv Composer instead of Gutenberg. You can create a page in Gutenberg, but you will not be able to edit it with the tagdiv Composer https://i.imgur.com/Gj7fAM4.png -> https://i.imgur.com/dshTCS1.png
You can add the text in the page using column text or text with title. There are a lot of options that you can use to create pages with tagdiv Composer.
Here is a video that will show you how to use the builder to create a website from scratch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg
Thank you!
Hello,
I have setup a new simple template for Pages under Cloud Templates.
I created a new page whos content can be edited only via Gutenberg. How we can assign the custom page template to the new page i created? I dont see any option while on gutenberg. Note that, if i try to edit the page with TagDiv composer, all gutenberg contents are removed automatically for some reason.
Kindly advise, since we need to have the option to make a custom page.
thanks
Hi,
Usually, the color and image are set on the row, so please edit with tagDiv Composer and select the row and go in the tab CSS https://i.imgur.com/UkgqKNM.jpg -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/background-color-of-the-main-menu-be-changed/ please check each row/column and delete the background image.
Thank you!
