I’ve encountered a new problem that I didn’t have before. The page editor has become very sluggish; it’s almost like it’s going to crash every time I try to change somthing, even the headline, or apply a Locker to the page.Sometimes the Tagdiv options dont even load. Any editing done in the ‘normal’ editor is incredibly slow, and in many cases, I have to give up.The tagDiv Composer still works smoothly without any lag. But for example: I can create a page with the TDC, but I cannot publish the site due to the lag.
What could be the cause of this? It’s a relatively new issue.
I haven’t installed any new plugins or anything, this issue came out of the blue.
Best regards
Jakob
Hello @chaywood0896!
First of all, is that misformatted layout visible in the tagdiv composer too or not?
If not, then this is not a theme issue, and it could be for many other reasons. The access is only for investigating the issue you have and finding the problem that causes it.
Thank you!
Hello Yaron!
You should adapt the RTL from the Composer settings or CSS code because we do not have the RTL feature in our theme. Try to set the buttons like this: https://app.screencast.com/rLJA45XHpOUZK
Thank you!
Hi,
sing our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Also, please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-pages-not-working-well-with-this-theme/
If the cache plugin does not have mobile support, then the mobile theme version can be delivered instead on the desktop and vice versa.
The solution would be to use the recommended WP Super Cache plugin instead and activate these settings (especially the mobile device support): https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you!
Hello,
You can use the smart list element. You need to use the smart list from tagDiv Composer, inside Single Post Content ->
https://i.imgur.com/dbipPWQ.png according to the documentation https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-lists/. You can create the smart list in Gutenberg.
Also, you don’t need to use the classic editor, you can use the Gutenberg editor, which is the default editor for WordPress and select/add the element classic https://i.imgur.com/9sWuCtW.png to add the smart list.
Also, please make sure you have the same heading in the post editor and in the smart list element.
Thank you!
CAUSING VERY SLOW QUERIES
Hello,
Do you refer that tagDiv Composer is no longer working on the homepage, can you provide some screenshots with the error?
Or maybe you are referring to the wp editor from composer, if is this one and is keep loading please check the restriction settings and code – https://i.imgur.com/6NDIKnb.png – https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
Hello @mubbi !
In the cloud templates, you can add the ads when you edit the post with TagDiv Composer in the element called “Single Post Content” in the tab ADS. Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/
Or you can use the element called “Ad Box” from TagDiv Composer, and there you need to add the ads: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-adsense-overview/
You can set the ad to display in posts after X paragraphs, please check this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/google-adsense-in-articles/
You can specify also the Par.(Paragraph) in the tagdiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hello,
So, for the pages, you can add new page like here and create it with tagdiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/7DocBaI.png -> https://i.imgur.com/smVRXlX.png
For category, you can assign the template for each category in Theme Panel -> Categories https://i.imgur.com/73rDrdL.png
Thank you!
Thank you!
Hi,
Please edit with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/j8YvKks.png click on the block and remove the offset -> https://i.imgur.com/dJ0iFQu.png let that field empty.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please check if you have the tagdiv plugins installed and activated, like Composer, cloud library and standard pack.
Thank you!
Hi Roger,
If you want a quick solution is a custom css, but this can be done using tagDiv Composer, please select the content from tagDiv Composer and set on it in css tab the margin top 0 – https://i.imgur.com/NqA8kXt.png if is not working, then try the css
.home .td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 8px;
}
This can be set in the theme panel > custom code> custom css and the results will be – https://i.imgur.com/BUdkfOy.jpg
Thank you!
But in the previous version of the theme, which was 9, and the tagdiv Composer 2.3, if it would allow me to print, I will give you an example.
Hello,
No, the pages that are made with tagdiv Composer and use the blocks to display the posts cannot be printed because they are made custom, and if there should be a work for print, then the entire code should be changed.
Thank you!
I am trying to fill my menues in Newsmag/Animals Magazine Pro with content divided into 3 categories using TagDiv Composer!
See menu-points:
https://north2alaska.no/category/alaska-canada/
https://north2alaska.no/category/natur-pa-5-min/
https://north2alaska.no/category/friluftsliv-villmark/
Whatever I do, I cannot make them differently, they all look the same (with exactly the same content/mixed categories). Something about globally settings?
In the “Alaska-Canada” menu, I want only Alaska-Canada categories-content to show up. The same with menues “Natur-pa-5-min” and “Friluftsliv-Villmark” as well.
What am I doing wrong? Where in the tagdiv composer documentation can I find answer to this. I am stuck!
Please help me out here!
Thank you!

Hello @jozefradi !
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
When I try to share an article, I can see that it takes the featured image of your article.
It seems that you have two different single templates for your posts. Assign only one template for both articles. When you access the article, please check which template is assigned, and you can see that on the top bar. For example: https://app.screencast.com/yGnnnMFcWqacY
Thank you!
Hi GoLearnHealth,
The featured image when is added for a post will be set as full size, but the flex blocks and the rest of elements from our theme provide options to set/changed the image size – https://i.imgur.com/tpPuCpG.png normally if is used the default image size, this will be nice display on all devices.
Now if you are referring to the featured image from the article, if you are using the single post template 12 you can edit it using the tagDiv Composer select the element, this is using a background image – https://i.imgur.com/FdPZCCH.jpg you can adjust it per each viewport in part and you can even change the image size displayed on viewport, image height, align and you can also set is as fixed.
I hope this will help you!

Hi skarem100, our theme use dynamic and static text/elements, so some of them will be automatically translated and others will be need to be manually edited (to replace the text). Here are the steps that you need to do:
-> make sure you WordPress language is on Persian (is not a must but it can help you) – https://i.imgur.com/fN1JqqR.png
-> use the theme panel translation option – https://i.imgur.com/K5mbxIX.png – https://i.imgur.com/HIIgUND.png
-> edit the pages and cloud templates with tagdiv Composer select the text/element you want to change – https://i.imgur.com/XMHRrpK.png – https://i.imgur.com/vTaF3OD.png
Thank you!
Hi Raj Kumari, I think you you confused the tagDiv Composer plugin with tagDiv Standard Pack plugin (this one do not appear in your screenshot, only the tagDiv composer) – https://i.imgur.com/A9Ra37s.png and on homepage you have a block 4 named popular posts that is a block from the standard pack plugin – https://i.imgur.com/1DhEW2Q.png that wasn’t enabled when the shortcode was displayed on your website.
Thank you!
