Hi guys,
This problem is driving me crazy.
When I started creating my website, I made some pages like http://techplanet.nl/software/. They were auto-generated by the theme I guess. Cause I didn’t actually create the page.
After some time I decided that I wanted to have more control over the pages and started creating new, custom ones using the Visual Composer. Like this one: http://techplanet.nl/software-2/
But I don’t like the “-2” in the URL/permalink. So I tried changing it. Impossible!
The weird thing is that I cannot find or delete/trash (or empty trash) the initial version (http://techplanet.nl/software/). So WordPress will not allow me to rename the “-2” version.
How do I stop the theme from generating this one: http://techplanet.nl/software/??

you can still use the visual composer in the theme — just ignore the “warning” message.

Hi,The CSS animation is fixed in the latest update, about the frontend editor is very difficult to make it because all our block and visual composer have some incompatibility when refresh the blocks data.

Do you refer to the Big Slide? If you do note that the big slider is not a part of the header, it’s under the header and yes, it is possible.
You just have to create the slider and add it on page using the visual composer Revolution Slider block element – http://screencast.com/t/2kO8gjrJ
If you want to replace it on Homepage BG templates you have to edit the template file and replace the Big Slider line with the Revolution Slider shortcode

as usual, in the dashboard there’s a notice of an update. Is it possibile to fix this problem once and for all? I’m also willing to purchase the plugin, provided the theme stays compatible with it.
This situation cannot be managed like that. There are too many Newspaper theme updates, including those necessary to fix the VC plugin issue. Please, try to fix it.

Update: now the site loads, but I cannot connect with WordPress.com in order to connect Jetpack (I had deactivated all plugins), and I’m also getting the message “This theme requires the following plugin: WPBakery Visual Composer”, but the plugin is active.
This theme is a complete mess.
Hello, after the upgrade my site is lost, as you can see. When uploading the Visual Composer, I get the messahe “The plugin doesn’t have a valid header”.
I cannot revert to any other theme, screen is always blank.
Any suggestion?

To not break any slide are the menu on mobile please add these files in the
Exceptions (files to ignore and load in render-blocking way) box to the bottom

these files can’t be loaded in render-blocking are the sliders on ur site will not work also the mobile slide menu..
