Hi,
Please try to do the update manually via FTP/cPanel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and do a full backup of all files and databases before updating.
Also, please try to update the theme without extra plugins activated during the installation, as this may interfere with the installation process.
Also, after the update please make the tagDiv plugins are installed, like tagdiv Standard Pack, tagdiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hello Michele,
The options from the Theme Panel are for the standard template. I think you have a pro prebuilt website and this one need to be edited with tagDiv Composer from frontend.
Our theme is a frontend theme for most of the elements and changes, you’ll need to use the tagDiv Composer to edit the pages and templates for posts/categories, etc => https://i.imgur.com/I3OUYxr.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/mMrEufY.jpg from the frontend, no in the code -> https://www.screencast.com/t/LDdokrHPl
Also, on our channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOT1RiNysIPCTPSnVZskwtQ, you can find more videos that can help you and documentation https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/ and you can ask us here on the forum if you have any questions
Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately, there is no option to hide the header and footer when are edited with tagDiv Composer. If you want to have the header and footer not editable, then you can use the standard header and footer from Theme Panel -> Header and footer, but it does not offer the same editing and design options as tagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Is there a way to disable editing the Cloud Header and/or Footer from TD Composer when editing standard pages and posts? It happens quite often that an editor is making changes to a post, but then accidentally drags a block into the header or footer and then it saves it globally. I mean there is nothing stating you are editing the global header or footer.
I am contemplating writing some CSS/JS to simply hide .td-header-desktop-wrap when editing through TD Composer, but wanted to see if there was a better solution.
Whenever I click on TagDiv Composer element “text with title”, a window open which keep on loading.
Please check this screenshot
Also having the same problem.
serverlog: GET /wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/wpeditor.php?wp_path=/var/www/vhosts/tuinpedia.nl/httpdocs/ HTTP/1.0
I don’t know why the wp_path part gets added to it, is that normal?

Hello,
We have a page with a large section of text on it, and there is an intermittent problem (happening more often than not) where sometimes it is completely removing all spacing/formatting when choose to edit it. This happens after you click the button to Edit Content. I tried both column text as well as text with title elements and it happens with both.
Pretty useless if we can’t edit it without removing all of the formatting. Tried multiple browsers, cleared cache/cookies and running latest version of Newspaper theme.
Anybody else having this issue and know of a fix?
https://prnt.sc/-W8FXAuvQARu is a screenshot showing what I am referring to here.
Thanks!
Hello,
If you use Wp Rocket, you can try to exclude the following files
/jquery-?[0-9.](.*)(.min|.slim|.slim.min)?.js
/jquery-migrate(.min)?.js
/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js
tdBlocksArray
Thank you!
Hello!
Hit save in the TagDiv Composer when you delete the offset. It shouldn’t be any space in that field, not even 0.
If the issue is still there, then contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
We will take a look and try to help you.
Thank you!
Greetings!
We’re experiencing a problem with our Cloud Templates. Everything was working fine some weeks ago, we’re not sure at what time these errors started to happen. When we try to edit the CloudTemplates with the TD Composer, the next message appears:
Error at rows: 1(models) : 5(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)
This happens with almost all of the CloudTemplates we have on the site, but there are some exceptions, like out Error 404, and some headers. The rest of templates are not working. The number of row (models) changes, but it seems like te 5(dom) keeps the same through al lof the errors.
By the way, there’s NO PROBLEM with the TD Composer when i edit pages.
So, I checked the forum for possible solutions and I found this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
I tried the solutions explained at number 5) but:
Solution 1) I import a new blank template and the error keeps on happening, even when it’s completley empty, I can’t recreate anything.
Solution 2) There’s no extra HTML inside this cloudtemplates. We used Little codes inside some pages, but there’s no problem whit any page yet. We use a plug-in to insert a Little bit of html on the <head> section of our landing page, but it’s just that one, here’s a picture of it: https://imgur.com/a/sOZQedH
I’m not sure how to follow the last suggestion about the mod_security… We haven’t modify anything like that so, what should i be looking for?
Could you help us figure out what’s going on? Thanks a lot!
I did edit the form using Tagdiv composer. I changed the input text to black but it is not resulting in the font color changing. I asked a Mailchimp forum and they said that the problem was coming from Tagdiv composer. I started with a black theme and changed to white, which i think is what is causing the problem.
Hello, I have created my mobile pages using the Tagdiv composer. So I have the mobile theme plugin disabled. I am happy with the way my pages look. My problem is I can’t see any way to change the background colour or change the font and colour of the writing of my mobile menu drop-down menu after I click on the 3-line burger. The only way I can see that I can do it is by activating the mobile theme and doing it from the theme panel. But if I do it this way, it changes the whole layout of my mobile pages. Is there a way for me to do this with the mobile theme deactivated? Thank you
Okay, here What I’ve Found:
– Using the shortcode provided nothing show up;
– I notice that when I do the suggestion from Bettina, about writting the “trailer” in the custom field name, first option in the cpt custom field element in the TagDiv Composer.” the tagdiv composer live does not show me the results in the live editor. But when I Save and visit the page I can see the content added in the CPT.
Are this knows issues to be fixed?
Hello everybody. My blog is top5melhores.com.br. I’m trying to remove “Recent Articles” through “Edit with TagDiv Composer”, but this one won’t let me select the “Recent Articles” area to disable it. Where can I remove this section from my site?
This is the section that i want remove: https://ibb.co/BC4pgbG
Hello!
I can see that you have a sticky menu already created. You can style it as you like in the TagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hello!
If you uninstall the Tagdiv Composer, then all the elements from this plugin won’t display on your website.
Thank you!
Hi
I migrated my site to new server and tried getting the site working with the latest PHP. Tested with 8.0 and 8.1 and the site breaks down (works fine with 7.4 and 7.3).
When I turned off all plugins, it worked fine. Then I turned all one by one and the problem starts with TD composer.
The unpleasant surprise for me is that TD composer has become a black box plugin. Turning it off breaks my website completely. It was not like that when I chose Newspaper as my theme. This is crazy. No site should break down for turning off a plugin!!!
The theme has many problems. The same thing is happening to me with other similar plugins like Stachethemes Event Calendar. The problem is the same: if you’re not logged in, you can’t see it. The plugin authors say the same as everyone else: that the tagdiv composer has a problem. Will you fix it please? I have more than ten websites working with your theme. Don’t we deserve a little attention?
Hello!
The AMP works better only with the Mobile Theme plugin. From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP. Please read all about AMP here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
It comes with its own templates/design for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Documentation here:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
Please read all about AMP here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
Note that you can not customize AMP so much, because it comes with its own design.
There are some settings in the Theme panel -> Mobile Theme and Dashboard -> AMP only.
You can not add a shortcode as in the TagDiv Composer. Please note that you can’t customize the AMP pages with the TagDiv Composer.
Make sure the redirect mobile visitors to amp option is disabled.
Thank you!

Please edit an article with the TagDiv Composer, and set the global template in the Website Manager: https://prnt.sc/O9w-gcKrSCtS

Hello,
With tagDiv Composer, you can add the element Single Post Modified Date in Single Post Template and
you can change the additional text in “Last updated on” => https://www.screencast.com/t/EvfUQMfzkd, and the Single Post Modified Date will show you the last time you edited that post => https://www.screencast.com/t/j74uz43paZj
Thank you!
