Hello Chuck!

You can change it from the TagDiv Composer. I can see that in your website, the logo is changed now.

Thank you!

Hi,

I believe that what happened there was caused by not deleting the composer plugin provided by the Newsmag theme. The Newspaper theme does use the composer as well, but it is a different version of it.

I was going to delete the composer and install the one provided with the Newspaper theme. I should have suggested you try this, but in case it did not work, I would have continued investigating. However, now that you solved the problem, everything is in order. I see you installed a demo and the website looks and works fine.

Let us know at any time if you need help customizing the demo, or if you have any questions, we will provide assistance.

Thank you!

Hi,

That would mean there is a problem, if the composer doesn’t save the links you enter for the titles.

I tested on my end again, the link I set for the block title seems to save correctly, for example https://i.imgur.com/bViG14q.png
And the saved link is on the website https://i.imgur.com/xh5rpzJ.png

I believe this is your website https://www.peterboroughimages.co.uk/
Despite using an old theme version, this should still work.
Does the composer save other changes made on the page?
What if you try in a new page, with a new block, does it work correctly there?

If you want I will take a closer look at this. In this case I suggest sending us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and providing admin login for the website, so I can investigate why this is happening. Let me know.

Thank you!

TD Composer is disabled on my Posts Page. I tried following the link for the topic posted by Bettina but the link is defunct. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

The theme is now upgraded but i have a new problem with the number of articles.

The website show 12 articles and no more. In fact if i put the pagination to “load more” it show always the same articles even after loading. How to fix that ?

I’m using the tagDiv composer, the posts loop 2, extra setting :
Limit post number 0
Offset 0
Exclude post ids none
sort order latest
post type none
Pagination load more button

Hello,

If the posts are not displayed, then, please edit with tagDiv Composer, select the block and let the offset field empty with no space, no value and see the results: https://www.screencast.com/t/peVbVmUDE
For more information about the offset features, please check this tutorial: https://forum.tagdiv.com/offset-feature/.

Hi,

I see the error is displayed everywhere, the website doesn’t function at all, including logging in. The composer must be removed manually, so the website functions again, then the problem must be investigated.

Please send us an email as soon as possible at contact@tagdiv.com
In the email provide access to cPanel, or FTP, or any server/file manager the hosting provides. This will be needed to access the files and remove the composer, and for investigating further.
Also provide admin login for the website, so I can log in once the composer is removed, and test. I will investigate why this is happening. Let me know.

Thank you!

Hello Irakli!

1. Please edit the category page with the TagDiv Composer and use the element called “Category background image”.

2. This function from the theme it should work. So, please make sure that the changes are saving in the TagDiv Composer. Check this guide and make sure you do not have in the .htaccess file some lines with “Deny all”!: https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
We have also a guide with some tips why our Composer is not working properly, please check: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.

3. This is from the cache plugin that you use.

4. If you want to assign that template for your posts, then you need to access the posts you need and set it up near the green button, the right single cloud template.
Those style 1, style 2, etc are default templates and they can’t be edited with the TagDiv Composer.

Thank you for your feedback!

Hi,

I believe you are referring to the blocks that display the posts, and the titles of these blocks. The title is simple text in this case, and has no relation to the categories.

However, if you want them to be links and lead to category pages, you could set links for each of them, in the composer https://i.imgur.com/tnXUX3Y.png

If that is what you want, then set links to the category pages you want, for each title of the blocks that displays posts.

In case I am misunderstanding, please mention a few more details about what exactly you would like to do. Let me know.

Thank you!

Hello!

It should be the same, also in the new interface Cloud Templates. Check if you have the language up, switch it and try to edit the template with the TagDiv Composer. Let me know the results!

Hi,

That is one of the main differences between Newspaper and Newsmag, the capability to edit templates with the composer.

The Newsmag theme provides only standard predefined templates, which will only display the elements that are defined in the template files. If you would like to display something after the content it would require editing the file corresponding to the post template you are using, and entering it there. I can mention how it can be done.

But before that, is it a shortcode that you would like to add? Or what kind of code exactly? There may be another way, which is to enter the code in article bottom ad spot in the theme panel https://i.imgur.com/iNdq8d2.png assuming the spot is not used for an ad. Or maybe they can both function from there.
If that does not work or is not possible for some reason, then the only option would be to enter the code in the post template file directly. A child theme can be used so the modification won’t be lost after a theme update. We can discuss more, let me know.

Thank you!

Hello!

You need the Standard Pack plugin if you use the default templates. Otherwise, you can uninstall it.
We do not encourage you to use the Standard Pack plugin with the default template
We recommend to use cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Documentation here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/

Check also our video tutorials here: https://www.youtube.com/c/tagdivThemes/videos

Anyway, this issue has been discussed already here, please check:

Hi,

You can remove the Single Post Date select with tagDiv Composer and with a right-click you can delete => https://i.imgur.com/GNzcGmJ.jpg , or selecting the element and with drag & drop place into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page => https://i.imgur.com/vkQVCjn.jpg this change will be apply to all posts that use that template.

Hello,

If I understood correctly you want to use a modal popup, right?
If yes, then please check this article -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-popup/
So, you can create a page with tagdiv Composer, and after set the id page to the modal popup, this has a few triggers or you can set it as a button, which will appear only after the button is pressed.

The background image and color for the mobile menu are set in the Theme Panel -> Theme Colors -> Mobile Menu -> https://i.imgur.com/9eYp5W9.png -> https://i.imgur.com/Ednt2zW.png
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-introduction/

Thank you!

Hello Tagdiv team,

After changing the header page’s code, the composer is not working on the main page only.
Header page codes were accidentally removed, so I added the test server’s codes on the header page in the cloud library. However, after adding the copied codes, the main page’s Tagdiv composer is not working and is loading forever. I tried deleting the composer and activating it but was not working. Moreover, tried to add the main code sources to the page in the test server. It was working and I could see the main page in the composer.
Only it is not working on the live server. Most sub-pages are working with the composer, only the main page is not working. https://korearadio.org

I am not sure why it is not working. I added the main page code here.
Can you help me to figure it out?
Thank you.

Grace

It is working now.

Hi,
On Newsmag theme the tagDiv Composer can be used only for pages. For posts, the only solution will be to set it in sidebar widgets the Custom HTML element -> https://i.imgur.com/PkOhHzt.pngand assign that sidebar to posts.
Thank you!
