ok i fix the problem
do not minimize style.css and site.js manually π
Hi,
How can we add this php line of code into the “Article inline ad” box? <?php echo $td_mod_single->related_posts();?>
We are trying to get the SIMILAR ARTICLES to display in the posts after the 3rd paragraph. (restyled to be smaller with CSS)
Or would there be a better way of accomplishing this?
Thanks,
David
Have a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-do-i-move-this-block-of-css-to-top/
“flash of unstyled” text issue is related to the way the stylesheet is loaded prior to the css over-rides in the pages themselves. Only REAL way to fix that on any wordpress themed site with customizations panel, is to actually put your custom CSS at bottom of your style.css file, so they are loaded with the main styles. Anyway, that’s what we do. π
Looks like the CSS isn’t loading for your site. Be sure to possibly upload the theme via FTP to ensure all the files are actually up on the server. I personally have a lot of problems with *all* themes installing via ZIP method. FTP ensures all files are uploaded individually from your hard drive to your website. I don’t use child theme, so generally best to start with activating the MAIN version of the theme.
If using any caching — including in your web browser — you may have the old style.css “cached” and so not loading the new styles in your browser.
Hi the theme used to generate css but since it’s not, I used this in custom css and the issue was solved.
@font-face { font-family: "museo_sans300"; src: local("museo_sans300"), url("/uploads/museosans-300.woff") format("woff"); }
But why does the theme not generate css for custom font?
Hi,
Your issue comes from the Video Central plugin css, you should contact plugin’s authors on support page.
You can fix this by adding this custom css, like this: http://screencast.com/t/gmonIQXtj
.video-central-row {
margin: 0 auto;
}
Thanks
Hi, thanks π Solved everything but not the css issue of number 5.
The custom font thing isn’t working. In the source, earlier there used to be things like:
<style>@font-face { font-family: "RobotoSlab Custom"; src: local("RobotoSlab Custom"), url("http://gdgtarena.com/assets/fonts/roboto.woff") format("woff"); } @font-face { font-family: "Open Sans Custom"; src: local("Open Sans Custom"), url("http://gdgtarena.com/assets/fonts/open.woff") format("woff"); } @font-face { font-family: "RobotoSlab Custom"; src: local("RobotoSlab Custom"), url("http://gdgtarena.com/assets/fonts/roboto.woff") format("woff"); } @font-face { font-family: "RobotoSlab Custom"; src: local("RobotoSlab Custom"), url("http://gdgtarena.com/assets/fonts/roboto.woff") format("woff"); } @font-face { font-family: "RobotoSlab Custom"; src: local("RobotoSlab Custom"), url("http://gdgtarena.com/assets/fonts/roboto.woff") format("woff"); } @font-face { font-family: "RobotoSlab Custom"; src: local("RobotoSlab Custom"), url("http://gdgtarena.com/assets/fonts/roboto.woff") format("woff"); } @font-face { font-family: "RobotoSlab Custom"; src: local("RobotoSlab Custom"), url("http://gdgtarena.com/assets/fonts/roboto.woff") format("woff"); } @font-face { font-family: "RobotoSlab Custom"; src: local("RobotoSlab Custom"), url("http://gdgtarena.com/assets/fonts/roboto.woff") format("woff");</style>
but now that’s not there and therefore the fonts don’t work. If I see my site from google’s cache and add the earlier code in custom css, fonts start working. You can try it out, just add a custom font and try to use that…
and also for number 3 when I added your css it removed the menu items positioning as you told to do here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/a-problem-with-the-header-8/
Hi,
Please make sure you also remove cache and purge files if you use any cache and/or CDN plugins and also make sure you check for errors in your browser console. This could also be from the speedbooster plugin which can generate conflicts when used with other plugins and the css issue could come from the custom css added from theme panel.
Please try to deactivate the plugin or any other plugins that could generate this and empty cache and purge files.
Let me know if this helps!
Thanks
Hi,
You should check the update log: http://screencast.com/t/PYCoqAilK Make sure you remove all cache and also purge files if you use CDN and check again.
You should also go trough this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/bugs-in-4-5/
1. Like this: http://screencast.com/t/yosbiudqY
2. That is happening because of the “+” menu item which falls into another line in tablet portrait view screens. You need to adjust the menu items font size or this padding: http://screencast.com/t/o6F7Vo08UN
@media (max-width: 1018px) and (min-width: 768px) {
.sf-menu a.sf-with-ul {
padding-right: 26px !important;
}
}
You can also remove that shadow usign this css:
.td-header-style-8-wrapper.td-menu-placeholder .td-menu-background:after { ..this will remove it site wide.
display: none;
}
3. and 4. Use this to fix it: http://screencast.com/t/7UqccaxAcE0B
.td-li-wrapper-menu {
position:static !important;
}
.td-header-style-8 .td-style-8-menu-wrapper #td-top-search {
left: 0px!important;
top: 19px !important;
}
5. The css generated by theme is now saved in the database for a faster loading page from theme version 4.5
Thanks
Hi,
You can do it like this: http://screencast.com/t/KtEkV8bVBr and use this css and adjust it as you like:
.td_mod8 .item-details {
margin-left: 240px !important;
top: -4px !important;
}
.td_mod8 {
min-height: 150px !important;
margin-bottom: 30px !important;
}
.td_mod8 .entry-thumb {
max-width: 220px !important;
max-height: 124px !important;
}
Thanks
Hi,
Use this css for mail button: http://screencast.com/t/TC3RWFtXUtD
.widget_mc4wp_widget .mc4wp-form input[type=submit] {
-webkit-border-radius: 0px;
-moz-border-radius: 0px;
border-radius: 0px;
background-image: none;
background: #4db2ec !important;
color: white;
border: none;
text-shadow: none;
font-family: 'Roboto Condensed', sans-serif;
font-weight: normal;
font-size: 14px;
padding: 5px 12px 7px 12px !important;
margin-bottom: 4px;
-webkit-transition: opacity 0.4s;
-moz-transition: opacity 0.4s;
-o-transition: opacity 0.4s;
transition: opacity 0.4s;
}
.widget_mc4wp_widget .mc4wp-form input[type=submit]:hover {
text-shadow: none;
opacity: 0.8;
-webkit-transition: opacity 0.4s;
-moz-transition: opacity 0.4s;
-o-transition: opacity 0.4s;
transition: opacity 0.4s;
}
And this for bbpress forum buttons: http://screencast.com/t/k8fa2iKakifx
#bbpress-forums .bbp-form button {
background: #4db2ec !important;
-webkit-border-radius: 0px;
-moz-border-radius: 0px;
border-radius: 0px;
color: white !important;
border: none;
text-shadow: none;
font-family: 'Roboto Condensed', sans-serif;
font-weight: normal;
font-size: 14px;
padding: 5px 12px 7px 12px !important;
margin-bottom: 4px;
-webkit-transition: opacity 0.4s;
-moz-transition: opacity 0.4s;
-o-transition: opacity 0.4s;
transition: opacity 0.4s;
}
#bbpress-forums .bbp-form button:hover {
text-shadow: none;
opacity: 0.8;
-webkit-transition: opacity 0.4s;
-moz-transition: opacity 0.4s;
-o-transition: opacity 0.4s;
transition: opacity 0.4s;
}
Hope this helps!
Thanks
And also,
1. How to put ads below header in style 8?
2. Remove the transparent white space. See image here: http://www.imgur.com/o5GdoiY,tKP71q5#0 and http://www.imgur.com/o5GdoiY,tKP71q5#1
3. I repositioned the menus as you said here : https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/a-problem-with-the-header-8/ , but now half of the mega menu does not appear. They are somewhere outside the screen. See image here: http://www.imgur.com/EtDVCQR
4. And the search icon appears slightly above the menu, how to make it parallel?
5. And also the custom fonts css is not appearing in source, although custom typography css is there.
I don’t have the previous backup, so Please help me ASAP π
Thanks.
There’s no custom fonts css in the source of the page like it used to be in 4.4 and also custom typography doesn’t works. Don’t tell me that I did not update correctly, I do it every time as you guys have told. Please fix it asap.. http://www.styzic.com
Just like the title says.
I added a new image size (220 x 124) and used it on block 9 (i think is module 8). But after changig the image size I have this blank space to right of the image. Is there any way to reduce it via CSS?

Also, is there an easy way to create block? I’m trying to copy the Gamespot syle for the lastest news?
Hi,
I’m having an issue whenever I try to create a new post, it gives me a blank page for no reason. It works for older posts. I’ve checked the permalink, plugins and database. Permalink is fine.
I found something with the Speedbooster plugin though, if I deactivate it, the post works, but my CSS is all messed up. So my page looks weird…
I tried changing the version, but it’s the same problem.
I then looked at my database and I’m getting a lot of overhead at 26MiB. I think that’s pretty bad. I’m waiting for my server manager to check that. My website host also updated some modules.
Can you help me figure out the issue?
Hi, I want to set the same style as the default button (the one on the shortcode) for all the buttons in my site.
I need to set to the mailchimp and bbpress buttons.The ones that are in my footer.
I already tried this on my custome css
.mc4wp-form button {
color: white;
background: #ec4d4d !important;
border: none;
text-shadow: none;
font-family: ‘Roboto Condensed’, sans-serif;
font-weight: normal;
font-size: 14px;
padding: 5px 12px 7px 12px !important;
margin-bottom: 4px;
}
Could you help me?
I think we’re using an unordered list with a custom CSS class called ‘relatedjunk’

I use it on all of my sites. The CSS is minified and it is getting the counts by the “right way”. So there shouldn’t be much problems with the speed π
Hi everyone, our hunt for 95+ on desktop ( I have 96 now π ) and 90+ on mobile ( I have 75 now π ) goes on.
I just found out a way to detect critical above fold css and inline it. And I put all other css in the footer. I got desktop score of 97 and mobile score of 92.
But, there’s a problem with it, there’s a flash of unstyled content (since the main css files are at bottom, and if we move that to top we’ll get render blocking warning).
So anyone who can help me and then everyone reading this thread get rid of that flash of unstyled content? π
Desktop 97 and Mobile 92 coming soon, if this one gets solved. π
Hi,
Via custom css, like this: http://screencast.com/t/qOCthGAkfU
.blog-stack .sf-menu ul .menu-item a:hover {
background-color: #70d891;
}
Thanks
Also, on my site there is jetpack.css.
How can I move that to footer or remove that?
Hi,
Add it like this: http://screencast.com/t/BGNDkTjrl and use this css:
.td-header-style-8-wrapper.td-menu-placeholder {
padding-top: 15px;
}
Thanks
