Hi,
It seems the demo you installed (health demo) has a custom css that forces the black color on the hamburger menu. In this case you must add this css in your theme panel->custom css box to change the color:
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-health #td-top-mobile-toggle i {
color: #1369bf !important;
}
Thank you!
Hi,
Well if you did not add the code, maybe a plugin did. Please try to remove the code I provided and simply disable all plugins except visual composer,clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then check the email address again and see if it’s still transparent. Here is the reason why I said it was something you or a plugin added. All the css that comes from the theme will have style.css shown in the right of the code like so (using the chorme browser inspector): http://screencast.com/t/wn3GWX7vD That is a clear sign that the css comes from the theme. Now, other css rules that do not come from the theme, will not have the source as the theme;s style.css like the transparency rule that you have on your site. It is still there but it’s been re-writen by my code as you can see here: http://screencast.com/t/LLiFJ4kS
Thank you!
Hi tagdiv team,
I see that the theme has so many diverse features..you tried to add lot of accessory features too ..but i dont understand why you left the most basic thing to implement for the theme i.e. Ajax navigation for posts , tags ,categories pages…[i know abt the one thats in visual composer but visual composer is not used on each & every page like categories,tags pages ] Every time a visitor clicks on next page numbers, the whole content [css,js,etc..] gets loaded ..In Ajax just that part of the page is loaded rest of the stuff like sidebars,header,footer stays . I am sure i dont need to explain abt the benefits of using ajax.
I request you to implement this feature in next update.
Also Is there a way currently i can implement the ajax for the above type posts in the theme ?
Thanks Bogdan.
1. I removed all the css related to the icon, but it’s not centered.
Please note I’m on an old Newspaper version. I say because when I first installed your theme I had to ask the support to center my logo. The staff gave me a custom css which I don’t understood but it worked.
2. Could you tell me how to do it simply with custom css. Since I’m still on Newspaper 4.6.1
Update is too complicated for me, I could possibly achieve it but have really no time at the moment
3. I found thanks
5. I have the following in my custom css
.td-sp-ico-menu {
background-image: url(“xxxxx.jpg”);
margin-left: 0px;
top: 4px!important;
background-color: white;
}
Now the menu is a clickable image but it size is not adjusted. Do you know how to make it fit ?
Thank you
Ah … okay Chris and Thank YOU for the reassurance that this won’t affect my tables used in some posts. Not only this but YOUR css script help me where the authors attempt did NOT.
Hugs,
Trish
Looking into the Style.css, it seems everything is ok: http://imgur.com/a/nPsq9
I still dunno what happened :/ I have searched for “transparent” but everything seems irrelevant so far
Thanks.
With that code, the problem is “solved”. But i would like to know what caused this, honestly.
Here you have the only CSS code i had: http://imgur.com/a/F7UuP
Nothing is about “transparency”, as you can see.
Hello,
Please use this custom css as a quick fix for the footer issue:
.footer-text-wrap .footer-email-wrap a{
color:#4db2ec!important;
}
You do have a custom css code in your theme panel that adds this transparency. Maybe you added it for something different but it’s affecting the footer as well. Please check your custom code and check for any transparent color in there.
Thank you!
Catalin, Yes I was referring to ads (clickable images) that I place in the ads box in the theme panel.
I placed some css with the ad to restrict its width… otherwise If I place a large image it shows at full size. If I place a small image at size… It looks horrible on retina display.
Best,
IC
Hello hkhasib,
First of all, please try to disable all your untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. As a quick solution, you should use the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-container {
padding-left: 0!important;
padding-right: 0!important;
}
The result you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/M1xvtqGqUe2N
Thaks for your understanding!
Hello,
1. It seems you have quite a bit of css customization on the mobile logo. Please try to restore it to it’s default state and remove any custom css affecting it. Then the logo will be centered as that is the default state of the theme mobile logo.
2. The logo on the sticky menu can be set from the theme panel here: http://screencast.com/t/IEJZaYZ2FM (the header section of the theme panel)
3. The header hight cannot be set from the theme panel for the mobile version. it can only be done with css.
4?
5. Our theme does not have an option to replace the search icon with something else. Sorry. This can only be made custom
Thank you!
Hello weezyworld,
If you want to have a border to your images in post content, you should simply use a bit of CSS code to do that. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
.td-post-content img {
border:2px solid red;
}
If is not what you mean, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
1. You should check to see if speedbooster is indeed active and running. is it moving any other render blocking js and css? ius it doing nothing? check the system status and make sure you clear all caches after you change the plugin code. Disable any untested plugin as if you use our workaround for speedbooster to make it work with other plugins, it is not guaranteed it will move the plugins css and js.
2. If wp super cache is installed and runnign properly the system status should detect it as so. Please clear the hosting cache and purge cdn files and test again.
3. You should follow those instructions, yes as they are requirements for the installation of the plugin. After you install it, use this guide to set it properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
4. we still get some of the errors but we do not use speedbooster on our demo and as you can see it loads pretty fast without it. speedbooster will improve speed but it;s the optimization that you make until that point that count the most: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdemo.tagdiv.com%2Fnewspaper%2F&tab=desktop
Give this topic a try also if you want to get the best out of your site’s page speed: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/score-100100-pagespeed-with-newspaper-wordpress-theme/

Hi,
Unfortunately, please notice that our product does not have such an option for dynamic width and we do not recommend to do that through the custom CSS code because the layout of the theme will be damaged. If you want to change the width of the theme to be in full-width mode, please notice that is not a simple task and you will have to adjust the entire theme to the new width for better results.
If you want to display more levels in our theme and you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to do this for you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello veet1975,
You should use a bit of CSS to hide these two containers. Also, if you want to hide them only for a particular page, you should use the page ID for this page, like this ->
The code is ->
.page-id-13 .td-header-wrap, .td-footer-wrapper{
display:none;
}
The result is here -> http://screencast.com/t/qWIH3qdgJrK
This is just a basic example. You should create your own code with your desired page ID from your website.
Thanks.
Hello,
Our theme does not have such a feature but you can use this custom css to make the content align center:
.single .td-pb-span12.td-main-content{
text-align:center!important;;
}
.single .td-pb-span12.td-main-content header .td-post-author-name, .single .td-pb-span12.td-main-content header .td-post-date{
float:none!important;
}
The breadcrumbs are outside the post content so they cannot be centered based on the content (sidebar or not) There is no simple way to detect if there is a sidebar or not for the breadcrumbs.
Thank you!
Hi,
I think you mean the unaltered css maybe…well you can get that from the main theme package and see the main folder of the theme and check style.css.
If you are on a quest for page speed, you might give this topic a shot:

Thanks.
Hi,
No, there is no header style with 2 ads. Each header style on our site has only 1 ad. If you require 2 ads, you can place an ad via the theme code. For header style 1 you can add an extra ad spot like so:
1. Place your ad in the custom ad spot 1 in the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/6Wx1ttEH
2. Access your theme files via ftp and find this file: http://screencast.com/t/xvuHorAEdD
3. Add this code at the very bottom of the code:
<div class="custom_header_spot">
<?php echo do_shortcode('[td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1"]'); ?>
</div>
example: http://screencast.com/t/Mhrr30iyP
4. Place this css in the theme panel -> custom css box:
.custom_header_spot{
margin: 24px auto 0 auto !important;
}
result: http://screencast.com/t/FO99YOj69r
Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately big grids in our theme do not have title possibilities. If you still want a title you can add a text with title element above the big grid and then assign a custom class to the row in visual composer as we will need to reduce a bit of spacing for the text with title element.http://screencast.com/t/NHzjMTjWW
After you add the title and the custom row, use this css to remove the spacing below the title:
.custom_title .td_block_text_with_title{
padding-bottom:0!important;
}
http://screencast.com/t/2hHkuYUV2b
As for the text, the text with title allows you to have the text above the big grid.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please make sure you add the custom css in the mobile theme;s custom css spot as well : http://screencast.com/t/W2kNK0yKv If this still does not fix it, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and investigate the issue. Also include a link to this topic so we can identify you.
Thank you!
Hello n1ck,
If you want that all your links to be highlighted, you should use a bit of CSS to do that. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
The link is ->
a {
text-decoration:underline;
}
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the message!
Hello Diego Acero,
1)Please notice that you should use the @media queries if you want to target the code only for the mobile view. Please try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
@media(max-width:767px){
.td-header-main-menu, .td-header-menu-wrap {
display: block!important;
}
}
The results you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/eaUSbsPG7tZO
2)You should try the code below and place it in the custom code area.
The code is ->
@media(max-width:767px){
.td-pb-span4 {
display:none!important;
}
}
If all of this information are not useful for you or if is not what you mean, please provide more details about what you want to achieve so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
You should check your custom CSS area and you should erase from there the code which gives the width:75% value for your logo on mobile. Also, you can use the following code to cancel this effect.
The code is ->
@media (max-width: 768px){
.td-main-menu-logo img {
width: initial!important;
}
Also, please notice that this type of effect can appear from your untested plugins if you are using something like that. Try to disable all of them, clear all your caches, leave just Visual Composer to active and install only the plugins that come bundled with theme and rule out any conflicting plugins.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello digitalaltitude,
You should try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
.top-bar-style-2 .td-header-sp-top-menu {
float: none!important;
text-align: center!important;
}
The result you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/oZyseuYrQ
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi, previously you helped me with code to disable the link on the post title and feature image, allowing us to post only the excerpt. But we started using Polylang to add Korean language to the site, and now when you’re on the Korean language, you are able to click post title and featured image.
I thought the CSS code would work for all post links across the whole website – do you have any idea why this isn’t working? The website is outside.agoda.com.
Thanks.
I will paste the code below that we have:
.td_block_4 .entry-title a{ pointer-events:none!important;
}
.td_block_4 .td_module_wrap:hover .entry-title a{
color: initial!important;
}
.td_block_4 .td-module-thumb { pointer-events:none!important; }
.category .td-module-image, .category .entry-title{
pointer-events: none!important;
}
