Hi,

Well, last week I did all that you suggested in your last email and the theme is even more broken…not working properly. Most pages show a 404 error in big and bold type on top. Most theme elements are missing. The theme config page looks normal. I set all the parameters I could, though a couple wouldn’t “take.” I disabled all caches and site wasn’t working so I turned them all back on.

I tried to install the Newspaper Health & Fitness Demo but that crashed and came up with a long message:
“tagDiv importer detected an error. The importer will try to recover and continue to install the demo after you click ok on this dialog.
Steps to troubleshoot:
– Check the permissions on your upload folder
– Please make sure that WP_DEBUG is set to false in wp-config.php
– Contact our support via email contact@tagdiv.com (please provide your product license key)”

I ignored the message and clicked OK…did that 3 or 4 times, and the Health & Fitness demo fully installed and seemed to be working — but of course there was a broken theme still there in the background, as I found out when I uninstalled the Demo and got the same 404 errors and missing content. I am afraid to use the demo at all now with a broken main theme behind it.

I tried, just to test further, switching between the demo themes that came with WordPress and Newspaper, but that didn’t help. Most of those themes now all have the same 404 error. I can find no way to completely uninstall then reinstall the original Newspaper theme so I can just start over from scratch without the Newspaper theme inheriting all the broken elements of my already-installed and damaged theme. I just need to start over. Please advise me if you can how to completely remove all the theme elements and reinstall Newspaper from scratch. I hope I do not have to reinstall WordPress, too!!!

I did the changes in the header.php exactly in the way you said in the screencast. I changed single_template 1, updated my website to see if it was worked, but it didn´t. I did it with the single_template 2, it didn´t work as well… I did the changes in all singles_templates exactly in the same way of the screencast, but nothing has changed im my blog. This is strange I know, I tried with facebook comments plugin for wordpress to check if the problem was with the facebook app, but with facebook comments plugin it worked, so the problem is not the app.
I reviewed with a lot of attention the codes, I moved the closing php tag to the end of the code like you said, I just replaced the code, I let the space, everything was in the same way, but nothing changed.

I’m using the babyblog demo as a base of my website, I don´t know if it has some relation with that.

The css for each demo can be found in theme’s core files. For example of you’re using Say What demo its custom css is located here: http://screencast.com/t/rXtlIeMmYH Just copy/paste that code in style.css or in theme panel > custom code > custom css filed.
Next you have to remove the request to demo_style.css file and to achieve that edit td_wp_booster_functions.php file and comment or delete indicated code: http://screencast.com/t/hnJZZl2hr

On indicated demo we use big grid 5 on top of the homepage so if you want to achieve the same result just edit the page with Visual Composer and add that grid on top of it: http://screencast.com/t/kDNjKE2i3

Let me know how it goes and if this is not what you mean please provide more specific details about the desired result, also a screen pointing to it would help, so I can inspect it closer and get back to you with a more accurate answer.

In the post of the original theme , the images occupy the full width rather than reduce the width as in my blog.

1. I am not sure what you mean, do you want to ad posts in min menu? If so then yes, they will work fine so you can add any post there.
2. Please provide more specific detail about what you’re trying to do because I don’t understand your question.

Sorry my question wasn’t clear, the row is full width but I’d like to have also the content full width so bigger images right next to each other without gap, like on your example http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_blog_travel/

On the widget there is “no gap” between images and no gap between columns but there is.
