Those classes are used to add that padding/space to post content and are used only when you use that feature from post editor. http://screencast.com/t/eVIzL0MoESx

Unfortunately I can’t help you, the logo was made in Photoshop and I don’t have the psd file.
As Christopher said you can have the logo from here or try to find a similar one.

Hi,
I noticed that post 4.x relase there is a left padding of 5% in content guided by this css property:

.td-post-content.span8 .td-paragraph-padding-1, .column_container.span8 .td-paragraph-padding-1 {
padding-left: 5%;
padding-right: 5%;
}
Where as there is no such padding on sites running 4.x..so why is it and how to fix it?

Hi @salocharly,

Stack means demo designs I guess. I already used the Tech stack on my website and it’s just a pre-made customization that comes with different font, colour, styles.

Do you think you may add Alert Boxes to your short codes list? I really don’t want to use a plugin. Looking for something easy with icons.. maybe like this:

hi,
the shortcodes that creates the first page when the demo is imported is the same like that on the : http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ (http://screencast.com/t/rCGL8oKi).

the content is different because of the size of the images. because we can not create a big archive to put on themeforest (for download) we are limited to the number and the sizes of the content we provide in the demo.

the demo logo for NEWSPAPER on themeforest appears to simply be a variation of Helvetica, such as Helvetica Neue, or Arial BLACK, etc. — you can easily recreate that simply by trying out the fonts pre-installed on your computer if you are running MS Office, any Adobe products, etc. as you likely already have the font.

TIP: download the graphic for logo from demo, then simply put that on a layer in Photoshop, and make partially transparent, then type in NEWSPAPER on the new layer and adjust font to match, then change the text to the lettering for your brand/site name. The “background” show through image is from Photoshop it looks like and *not* part of the font itself, which is not common for vector based fonts.

If you already have AI then you likely have the font already; start with Helvetica, Arial, and similar.

Hi,

My webmaster wants to use the common elements you use on the preview template of the site for settings/formating/ect ect and wanted me to ask if you can provide the template or such for them? Maybe I am not explaining it correctly but basically we want what you have on that “Preview Page” that is you use for advertisement of “Newspaper” theme. The site formating I guess is really good but you do not provide that in the “Demo Install” which is different from what you have in the preview. He said he could do it from scratch but if I can ask in order to have you guys help him save TIME! LoL, thanks for your help and we both AGREE you have the best THEMES on Themeforest!

Hi!
I am just starting to implement Newspaper on my site and I am a bit confused, hope you can help me out here 🙂

I am setting up a multi-language blog and I need to have separate theme options (individual theme panel settings) per language.

I am using WPML (all my settings and posts are already based on that so I cannot move to qtranslate (I noticed you may have a bit more experience there) but on themeforest it says Newspaper is WPML compatible and I am hoping that’s true…

So, I am not sure if it’s something in my settings or something missing in the theme code but when I make a change setting in one language – it’s happening to all which is not what I need to happen.

(A previous theme I used from themeforest was doing that individual theme panel per language thing perfectly and from what I gather this is part of the WPML compatibility factors).

I noticed in Newspaper theme directory you have a sub called “translation” and I think WPML expects to find “languages” as well as a few other differences in file names and maybe inner code integration things…

Hope there is a simple solution to all this, please give some instructions and / demonstration on how this is supposed to work.

Hi,

I know that we have cropped images for each block/modules/slider and the theme doesn’t serve any scaled images via CSS. I’ve tested our demo where is a slider there and tell me something about a scaled image but if i inspect the image with inspector the image is perfect fit no scale there.

In the demo content of the theme none of the posts it’s similar. It Will help to understand the format options using shortcodes instead of Visual Composer.

When I create a gallery in a post I am not given the dropdown option under “Type” for Tagdiv slide gallery, the only two options I have are Thumbnail or Slideshow, which do not result in the gallery shown in this demo http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/tablet-sales-surged-in-the-first-quarter-of-2013/

Any suggestions?

I have installed the demo data which has installed fine, but none of the images have imported in.

Please advise

Permissions to folders are ok, and i have manually added a featured image to one post.

You can do this from Appearance -> Menu, add a new menu item and in Navigation Label section add image source like this: http://screencast.com/t/AInGu7tZfwA

Image Source should look like this:

I’m trying to replicate the format used in this demo of the site:
http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/popular-people-who-everyone-seems-to-love/

I use Visual Composer with a custom layout of 1/6 + 4/6 + 1/6. I left in blank the 1/6’s columns, and insert a block text in the 4/6 segment. But the paragraphs don’t show correctly. What is the correct proportion? And when will be solved the problem with customs layouts in Visual Composer? 1/6 + 3/6 + 2/6 in full width it’s also broken.

Hi,

This may be from a plugin please make sure you deactivate all plugins and try again, leave active only those plugins required by the theme.
If this doesn’t work for you please try to re upload your theme manually and try again, follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/

You don’t need to use the above fix anymore, we have fixed the big slider in V4 and now it looks great, in your case your big slider looks different from the one we have on our demo?
I have checked your site and the big slider looks fine.

I saw some themes have a effect which I don’t know what’s the name.
It have a effect when mouse pointer fly over the image in feature post.
Does Newspapaer have same effect?

Okay thanks,
th score for desktop is 90 which is okay but on mobile it’s 69 and I thin that’s horrible.

I use cloudflare and tagDiv speed booster plugin but it dooesn’t seem to be working.

I’ve one more issue, on my site there is space between header and it’s underline but not on the demo…

In that case it will not count as a new page view. The view is counted only when you are on a post, and for that post will be +1 count.
