I updated my website to Newspaper 11 today. Every page that I have tested has had greatly improved page speed CLS scores. I already had fast hosting, a cdn, and Wp Rocket running, but updating the theme made a massive difference on desktop and mobile.

This is a page with almost 2,600 words, 4 large images, and AdSense ads running.
I’ve gotten similar results on every page I’ve tested thus far.
I’m very well pleased with the results.
Good job, TagDiv!
Hi team, I’m facing an issue that, on mobile my article page showing diff header and footer then entire website, check this link in mobile you understand my issue, I’m not using mobile theme and also can’t found where can I change these headers and footer design for article page.
I also check with Post Setting from the Theme panel but can’t resolve the issue, Kindly help for the same ASAP.
Hi jihoon park, please notice that the website speed is a custom services and is not covered by theme support. We’ll try our best to help, but this is not our job of work.
If you want to have a faster website, then you need to make a request to some developers that have the proper skills, if you want to can make a request here -> https://tagdiv.com/services/custom-services-page-speed-optimization/
Thank you for your understanding!

Good evening, I just changed my mobile newspaper theme to the AMP version because it’s much faster. The issue I’m having right now is that I can’t place ads in the middle of paragraphs (inline ads). I’ve already put the code on the theme panel and asked it to repeat after a set number of paragraphs but even that doesn’t work. The only ads that are showing are top of page, under page title, under first paragraph, one mid content ad and bottom of page. Some of my post are very long and this will cause my ad revenue to decrease drastically. I’m currently using ezoic, and they have a google chrome extension to put ad placeholders. Even while using their extension the AMP version of my pages won’t let me add the inline ads. Desktop is working fine though. I really hope you can help me resolve this problem as soon as possible. Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon.

Hello,
it looks like you have activated the mobile theme plugin.
The mobile theme plugin uses a standard layout for mobile to make it faster, but for this, all your pages need to be remade using the mobile editor (so you can only add the elements that are present in the toolbar, without shortcodes (blocks) and the shortcode for the contact form (if you copy-paste the code will not work)).
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
Usually, this problem when the mobile theme is displaying on the desktop, then you have a cache conflict, the plugin for the cache that you are using do not recognize the mobile and desktop cache. We recommend using the WP Super Cache plugin https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Thank you!
Hi,
I think that this problem is because the js files are trying to use some css that it is not yet loaded, you need to try to load the theme css faster (in head of the page), or make a test by disabling the css optimizer option from WP Rocket.
Thank you!
Hi Atithya, this is because you are using the mobile theme plugin for amp layout and the mobile theme layout to be faster required that the pages to be created without builders, using only the mobile editor -> https://i.imgur.com/H6fGo7X.png from the backend of page when it is opened in WordPress editor, you can check some more details in our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hello!
First of all, please start looking for a plugin conflict, deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
The second step is to try to optimize your website. If you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here: https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/ you’ll be able to increase the speed of your website.

Hello,
If want to keep the desktop layout on mobile then will be a better idea to use the responsive version (or mobile page template, this can be edited with tagDiv Composer).
Also, about the redirect option, this is displayed only when the redirect option for AMP is enabled => https://www.screencast.com/t/2Q0UchyvMoSy
Thank you!
Hi,
Indeed, there were some changes in google page speed related to some new elements that are specific for page speed, most of them will be fixed in the coming theme update and the website will be faster.
For page speed you need to optimize the theme, for this you can use those guides:
Also if you want you can apply the steps recommended in this article https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/ for Newspaper, those should work for Newsmag too.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi Anamaria,
I am sorry to say but looks like with limited customisation options and very few third party integration with Tagdiv Composer, you are falling short in competing with competitors. When you guys launched it around 2 years back situation was different, and now it’s completely different. The market is full with a lot many options like Astra, Divi which are adding features at a much faster rate than your company.
Please don’t take the above as criticism, it’s honest feedback from a client who has been with you for years. Unfortunately, I need to write off one of my investments that I made just few months back in buying one more license of Newspaper. However, in the last few days, while having issues discussed with you, I got a chance to explore and learned that your competitors have taken over and doing a phenomenal job, be it in terms of features, ratings, designing, pre-design layouts or composer or what so ever. The composer doesn’t offer a simple integration of ACF which is being offered by every other composer nowadays.
Anyways, thanks for your time and I am disappointed that despite being too old in the game Newspaper has lagged much behind.
Hello,
I’ve installed Newspaper Mobile theme plugin in my website to make my website load faster on mobile device. But I can’t find how can I edit or update the contents of the individual pages for mobile? I am able to edit sections for desktop but there is no such option for mobile theme plugin.

Hello!
One thing that you need to know before is that mobile pages which you use is not compatible with AMP at the moment.
Unfortunately, AMP is faster and works better only with Mobile Theme, because it is not compatible with cloud templates.
From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit from AMP.
Check our documentation about this plugin here:

Hi,
If you are using the responsive version, then the only solution for Newsmag theme it is to use a custom css -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
As an alternative, you can use the mobile theme plugin -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-get-mobile-ready-with-newsmag-theme/ this was special made for mobile, but the only inconvenience is that for pages you need to make a new content using the mobile editor ( is is to made the mobile page faster), or you can use the responsive version -> https://i.imgur.com/nMJwG9f.png
Thank you!
Hello,
The mobile theme and mobile page are faster than the responsive version of the theme.
