1. There was some padding there and that caused the menu items to appear not centered vertically. I removed that padding and it looks fine now https://prnt.sc/1doWFdOfs8jq
2. The logo on mobile was already looking fine by the time I checked https://prnt.sc/jYinsehWY0dz I see you corrected the problem in the meantime.
3. The logo is first loaded in full size and then resized by the CSS code. To remove that effect or at least reduce it, the CSS code could be loaded faster, in this panel here https://prnt.sc/RAk9j2_ZLHB8 I moved parts of the code there, and now the header doesn’t even jump on refresh/load. It loads much better. Please check it as well.

Hi,
I have identified Cloudflare’s feature for “Automatic Signed Exchanges (SXGs)” as a possible cause and disabled it. Sounds very much like it:
“Improve your website’s performance by making cacheable resources available on Google’s Signed Exchanges. Enable Chromium based browsers to prefetch your website on Google’s search results page and make your website faster. Improve the Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) which is part of the Core Web Vitals and increase your SEO ranking.”
Let’s see what happens.
Hello Dalvkot!
Please note that page speed is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
You need to optimize your website:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Here are some tips to help you enhance your WordPress site’s page speed:
Optimize Images: Compress images before uploading them to your WordPress site. You can use plugins like WP Smush or EWWW Image Optimizer to automatically optimize images without losing quality.
Utilize Caching: Implement caching to reduce server load and speed up page loading times. WordPress caching plugins like WP Super Cache, WP Rocket, or W3 Total Cache can generate static HTML files of your pages to serve users instead of dynamically generating them each time.
Minify CSS and JavaScript: Minify your CSS and JavaScript files to remove unnecessary characters and reduce file sizes. This can be done manually or through plugins like Autoptimize, WP Rocket or W3 Total Cache.
Enable GZIP Compression: Enable GZIP compression on your server to reduce the size of files sent from your server to users’ browsers. Most hosting providers offer GZIP compression, but you can enable it through plugins like WP Rocket or W3 Total Cache.
Optimize Database: Regularly clean up and optimize your WordPress database to remove unnecessary data and improve performance. You can use plugins like WP-Optimize to automate this process.
Limit External Requests: Minimize the number of external requests your website makes by reducing the use of external scripts and widgets. Each external request adds overhead to your page’s loading time.
Enable Lazy Loading: Implement lazy loading for images, videos, and iframes so that they are only loaded when they are visible on the user’s screen. This can significantly reduce initial page loading times.
Optimize Server Response Time: Choose a reliable hosting provider with fast server response times. Consider using a content delivery network (CDN) to serve your content from servers closer to your users.
Regularly Update Plugins and Themes: Keep your WordPress core, plugins, and themes updated to the latest versions to ensure compatibility with the latest performance optimizations and security patches.
Limit the number of backups: https://app.screencast.com/M5Wco6Td6nymr
By following these tips, you can significantly improve the page speed of your WordPress website, leading to better user engagement, higher search engine rankings, and overall improved performance.

Hello,
To increase page speed, I recommend checking which thumbnails you are using on your blocks. You might want to avoid having all of them enabled and optimize and regenerate images. You can use the EWWW Image Optimizer for image optimization and the OMGF plugin for fonts. Also, you can use the WP Rocket plugin.
Also, I recommended using cloud templates for posts, categories, and so on Flex blocks instead of blocks 1 to 25 and disabling the tagdiv Standard pack plugin.

Yes, we have code for ads that is the same on all the pages, including the responsive ones.So that is not the reason for this page to be so slow.
Do you have any other ideas how I can make Urban Observer run faster? Is it better to use another design?
I am running a site with a Newspaper: Urban Observer theme. I have tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library, tagDiv Opt-In Builder and tagDiv Standard Pack plugins installed. My site is running very slow, loading time is above 3 seconds. Note that database returns queries in less than 0,2s.
I have tried to find what’s slowing the page down, including upgrading the server etc but nothing helped significantly. I have decided to change the theme to Twenty-Twentyfive and the site loads under 0,5s. Ovbiously,Newspaper theme is to blame for the slow response time. Since I’m running another site with Newspaper that runs faster, but using another theme (Gossip that is not cloud based), I have tried to see if the tagdiv cloud is slowing my site down. I have disabled tagDiv Cloud Library plugin and the site loaded in less than 1s. Of course, the site design was broken. But still, obviously, tagDiv Cloud Library plugin is responsible for greatly reducing site speed.
Here are my questions:
1. Am I using the Cloud theme somehow incorrectly?
2. Can I still use the theme but disable cloud features (and have a site that is not broken)?
3. If I change to another non-cloud theme, what’s the best way to do it in order not to lose all the settings?
Side note: two other themes that I’m using with different sites are also slow, but not so slow: Publication PRO and Video News PRO. Both are running with tagDiv Cloud Library enabled.
Hi,
We recommend WPML plugin for translations: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wpml/
You need to translate the English (original language) the template for each language in part – https://i.imgur.com/CDmeHCf.png you should have them for each language cloud template – https://i.imgur.com/4agmUtg.png
A much simpler and faster alternative is to duplicate the cloud template you want to use in another language, edit it and select the desired language – https://i.imgur.com/z1CqgBo.png (edit the name) – https://i.imgur.com/dPX8ROs.png – https://i.imgur.com/Lc81IgP.png This method needs to be used to translate all cloud templates.
The pages are created with tagDiv Composer which is a page builder, when WPML is used it cannot translate everything that was built with the page builder and must be edited for each language separately. Please open the page in the editor and click on translate – https://i.imgur.com/TXH6y1c.png. After, if you duplicate the template, you can edit it to change the logo, menu, and whatever you want.
When you make the corrections, make sure you are on the page with the language you are editing, and if you use the cache, or object cache, please clear it.
Please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/missing-strings-on-wpml/
Have a great day!

Hello,
Please disable the wp super cache because you need there a strong cache plugin, like WP ROCKET OR Litespeed cache.
As I said, please disable the AMP because it is deprecated and no longer used.
After you run to optimize the images, you need to use this to regenerate the thumbs -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbs-on-modules-and-blocks/ and use this option for blocks

Hello,
I just tested your website, and I saw that you have a lot of scripts for ads https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-www-vincimi-it/2ej9cytgc3?form_factor=mobile You need to use a plugin to reduce and optimize requests, such as the WP Rocket plugin. Additionally, consider using the EWWW Image Optimizer for image optimization and the OMGF plugin for font.

Hi there.
When I first installed this theme I had loading times of 3-4 seconds. Now it has become an absolute turtle. And I dont know why.
The site is http://www.ateisten.dk – can you guys please tell me why it’s so CRAZY slow all of the sudden?
I have many times been in contact with my provider and optimized a lot of different settings to make it faster. That has helped a bit, but now it has gone completely the other way, and I will lose readers if I can’t fix it.
I use WP super cache and most my settings seem optimized.
Please help!
Hi,
Pages can be edited with the composer with both themes. Although the composer provided with the Newsmag theme doesn’t have as many elements and options as the one from Newspaper.
The cloud template system, meaning being able to build templates with the composer, is only available with the Newspaper theme. All the Newsmag templates (header, footer, post, category, etc.) are predefined and cannot be customized with the composer. The settings for them are all in the theme panel.
If there are any issues using the features available for the the themes, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login for the website, so we can check directly on the website. It will be faster this way.
Thank you!
Hello!
Some advice could be:
– Optimize Images: Compress images before uploading them to your WordPress site. You can use plugins like WP Smush or EWWW Image Optimizer to automatically optimize images without losing quality.
– Compress images more significant than 100kb or use WEBP images
– CDNs serve images from servers closest to the user, reducing load times: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
– Regularly audit and clean up unused media
I hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello Luca!
The option is here: https://app.screencast.com/x3COcHaE4l1O9
Check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Thank you!
I don’t have that option in my settings:
General
Enable/disable saving history
Show hidden elements
Save settings
Those are my choices. I also can’t edit any of the templates anymore even if that option did exist b/c they all of a sudden don’t work with a plugin that has worked with your templates for 5+ years. Even on the homepage, where I completely removed that plugin and saved successfully 10x last week without error, today I opened the home page template and I’m getting an error. I know you’ll blame the plugin, but the error exists on templates where there is no plugin or conflicting anything – just tagdiv code. You sent me something called Custom Fields Support, but that doesn’t do what this plugin does. It’s basically like WP Patterns (reusable content), but you don’t have to open a post to edit them, they have their own listing in the dashboard menu.
I’ll probably have to move away from tagdiv/newspaper – it’s causing more errors/issues at this point than is worth troubleshooting. Faster to just move to a new theme and keep all the functionality built in to my sites. Giving up or changing functionality/plugins revenue is dependent on is way more challenging than installing a new theme. And since the paid support doesn’t help, just blames everything else about the site, it’s kind of a waste of time and money at this point – and the blame game just hinders revenue, so it’s a double loss.

Hello,
This issue is strange. I don’t think that this issue is related to the WPML plugin.
Also, what version of WordPress, theme, WPML, and PHP do you have?
You can check our documentation here https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wpml/
Thank you!
Hello!
Unfortunately, it is like that with WPML. You have to translate and create the templates manually for each language. Try to use other faster methods from the links above.
Thank you!
all method tell me for newspaper theme
which plugin paid or free not matter
what setting from theme panel requard faster
Hello!
I recommend getting the latest updates on WordPress, PHP, and theme.
We do not have an ad manager so that you can manually turn on and increase revenue.
It also depends on the ad you are using. For example, use networks that prioritize fast-loading ads, like Google AdSense, Media.net, or specialized platforms like Ezoic or Mediavine. Use a CDN to deliver ads and other content faster to users: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Page Caching: Employ a caching plugin like WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, or LiteSpeed Cache to reduce server load and speed up ad delivery.
Avoid Overloading Pages: Too many ads can slow your site and negatively affect user experience. Prioritize high-paying ad spots.
AI-Based Ad Optimization: Use tools like AdSense Auto Ads or platforms like Ezoic that use machine learning to optimize ad placements and sizes dynamically.
Thank you!
Thank You! Now I can change the font for all the places were it is used from one to another type. But this doesn’t work for colors. In Global Colors section I only can add the color, which will appear in the menu for the element to make the choice faster, without entering its code. I still need to go to each element and change the red color used in the template to the one I chose, one by one.
Am I right? Or I have missed something?
It is not a big problem, but still requires some time to go through all the elements changing red to the color I’d like to use.
Hello,
1. You need to edit the page assigned in the modal popup and set the logo there.
2. The author and date can be globally enabled/disable using the theme panel settings for blocks/module https://i.imgur.com/lY6CY9e.png

Hello,
There is an option to disable the mobile theme from a page/post – https://i.imgur.com/d3kTBRf.png. This option appears in the Gutenberg editor. After you disable the mobile theme on the page, you can use the responsive version. There are no other solutions.
To increase page speed, I recommend checking which thumbnails you are using on your blocks. You might want to avoid enabling all of them and optimize and regenerate images.
