Yes, it is true because the functionality from single related posts block was moved in the flex blocks. For example, add a flex block, go to the filter tab of the element’s settings and from the dropdown category filter you can choose between: Single – More from author, Single – Related by category, Single – Related from tags.
The original single related posts block is not available to be added in TagDiv Composer anymore.

I already found out that these excerpts are called “td-excerpt” classes.
How can I do this? I tried multiple workarounds but none of them did anything.

We have the following issue:
If we dont use the textexcerpt box from WordPress the letter count is correct in the excerpt. But then we wont be able to use the “subtitle”-Element in our Articles. Therefore we are in the need that also the flex-Elements force the excerpt to 150 letters- no matter if there is a manual textexcerpt.

There is this strange bug on mobile only, when you click on a main Category on header menu, on desktop, all is ok, articles showing on the Flex Bloc 2 and 1 are loading the correct current Category articles.

but on mobile, i’m getting articles from “AUTOMOBILE” categroy, in these Flex Blocs 1 and 2 instead of current cat articles.

My site allows random users to submit content, which is stored in the wp_posts and wp_postmeta tables. We’re not creating WordPress accounts for these readers, so we store the name they give us as pen_name in the postmeta table. On a post page we’re retrieving the pen_name from the postmeta table and linking it to the authors page (a cloud template). This cloud template uses the Flex Block 1 module to display posts.
While looking at this block I see that there are options under Filter > Category Filter, we’re using the Author - Current Author option. I’m looking through the theme code and I see that option comes from here:
/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_util.php (lines 2155 - 2187
and is implemented here:
/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_block.php (lines 191-208)
What I’d like to find out is if there’s a way for me to inject a new option into that list, one that I would write myself. I’ve already written two new blocks, so I’m a little familiar with your API. I just don’t know if this is possible.

so we’ re trying to use post teaser elements (mostly the flex 1-3) to showcase our articles.
All of them are set to 150 letters max. – unfortunately the teaser elements show in their excerpts longer texts.
Is that a common problem? How can I force the teaser to remain a certain max-length?

I have installed the plugin tagdiv mobile , home page is working fine on mobile but when I turn on the option enable mobile theme for this page on any page except the home page those pages are not being displayed .
Note that I am just using some flex boxes on the pages to display content
How could I fix this issue .

The answer is a little short, although I understand that the best option is “default”. I was hoping for a link to documentation on the subject specifying different choices.
I tell you an example, so you can understand which is better. The first rendering is what matters to me. If you look at this url https://www.trebol-apuestas.com/blackjack/ there are several elements that I want to preload the block with the different bookmakers, that is why I add the option “Preload All”. This is a flex block with six elements and “I think” it makes it faster that way in this example, as it prioritizes the loading of the visible elements. And in this case the top image “Inline single image” is also an element that I would like to be prioritized when loading and not have the Lazy Load option. What can be done in this case with images that appear at the beginning to optimize the load. A workaround for this is to create a row for the category title, another row with 2 columns(Take a look here in this video for example where I build 6 columns: https://www.screencast.com/t/mZ2c5XamTFN ). In each column, you can use any block with any filter which one is more suitable for your needs and with any layout which you like the most: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

If I have to put my question in a different way, which of the elements has the option to add the Custom Title? Is it only Blocks or are there also some Big Grid or Flex Blocks that have this option and if so, is it possible to let me know which ones?

A workaround for this is to create a row with 3 columns(Take a look here in this video for example where I build 6 columns: https://www.screencast.com/t/mZ2c5XamTFN ), in each column add a flex block with a limit of 1 and choose to display the posts from one of the categories you mentioned above. For columns 2 and 3 do the same, but choose to display the posts from the rest of the categories.

The big title does not seem to resize for mobile screen and often goes off the screen even if we try Flex Block 3 or normal Title.

Can I setup the modules and the block to be like this? The first 2 columns to be larger then the last 3rd column. With a category title that spans all 3 columns.
After upgrading to Newspaper 11 I seem to have lost all of my Blocks. There are Flexblocks and Big-grids but all of the other blocks appear to have disappeared from the Tagdiv Editor. If I try and pull one over from the cloud library it just defaults back to a Flexblock 1. Any ideas how to rectify this? Many thanks

If i have for example categories food, recipes, restaurants i want to show in a flex block only one article the latest from each category.

Under the header should be a Big Flex Grid 5, but instead there are just the titles. In the tagdiv page composer, the page looks good

I found that I have and incompatibility with this plugin: “XYZ SMAP” that is used to publish the posts in Facebook and Twitter… Sounds strange.

I tried this on Nginx, Apache, Litespeed, Nginx over Apache hosting, and the results are always the same.The filter is not working regardless of changing the plugins folder name. So, it is not working with caching.
On the homepage you will see the flex box 5 with 3 elements. They change position if the caching is off. If it is ON, then they don’t change position.
